There isnt much here honestly but it is a nice little getaway in the downtown area. During the summer some of the outdoor concerts are hosted here and those are quite enjoyable. Its also become my go to spot for my lunch break. Its a quiet spot and the trees provide good shade but they also have seating more suited for those who like to bathe in the sun.

After a busy day at the office, I decided to head to Downtown Wichita Falls and enjoy a nice and sunny day in Bud Daniel Park after a friend recommended it as a nice, peaceful place to meditate. While it is located in the Heart of Downtown Wichita Falls, I will say that this particular park has seen better days compared to the other ones around this community. The walkways are showing their age. Theres little grass, giving way to mud and weeds. The trees themselves need some major pruning. The benches and signs also need some updating. Im not too impressed with Bud Daniel Park.

Quiet little park in the heart of downtown within a block of restaurants, the library, the farmers market, 2 bars in view, the railroad museum, and shops.
