Would absolutely recommend David Fanning for any child custody needs! Our case was a bit complicated, but David and his team were extremely patient and more than willing to work at our pace to ensure that things got done properly. I hired David for 2 cases. The first case was a complete surprise and I hired him very quickly, I was very happy with the way he dove right into my case and had everything ready to go within 48 hours. David has always been very helpful and easy to talk to. He has fought hard for me through a custody battle and also through a divorce. I had a very complex custody case that included lifting a geographic restriction , during my consultation with Jason he made me feel very confident that I had chosen the right representation. His team was always very professional and pleasant. The majority of my case was with Jason but my case kept getting pushed back due to covid which was extremely upsetting. Jasons wife had a baby and therefore Mr. Fanning finished my case and I was very impressed. His knowledge and confidence made me feel at ease. I completed most of my divorce paperwork and submissions to the court, but my schedule became hectic all at once and right before filing the final divorce decree and prove-up. Highly recommend David and his staff. My case was especially complex and during my consultation, David and Laura went over their plan of action and answered my questions in a way that made sense to me. David Fanning is a consummate professional. He is well-versed in the law. He works hard and it shows. My divorce/child custody case was a tough one, the other plaintiff had the funds for a long and arduous fight. I started off with a lawyer, whom was highly sought. Once I was getting nowhere and the case was looming for over 2 years, I started looking for another lawyer. I was referred to David Fanning and it was a blessing. We had a meeting, he couldnt understand why we hadnt already been to court. He set a court date, debated in court, done and over, a win all-around, papers signed and could move on with my life. A few more court cases from same child custody came about, David Fanning didnt bat an eyelash to defend. Outcomes have been amazing. I would use David Fanning again and again. I hired Mr. Fanning to represent me in a custody/child support matter. I went into the situation wondering if my rights as a father would be given to me fairly. I ve never had to work with a lawyer concerning anything so this being my first time I was a little nervous about it all. During my first consultation, I was welcomed into the office by friendly faces and amazing attitudes which eased my spirit greatly. Working with David and his team I quickly realized that I WASN T dealing with a group of money hungry people who didn t have my best interest at heart. The firm was very helpful and honest also showing to be very knowledgeable and confident in what they do. I can t summarize what David Fanning has done for our family. We have felt hopeless for years going through empty promises of several attorneys and having the same result from each representation. We left the courtroom/final ruling each time the same way for years. Nothing was ever good enough to show that my son was the safest in my possession according to them. Fact is-our Case is so complex and mentally draining that only an attorney that truly cares will invest themselves in our case. We finally found one in David Fanning. I wish we would have started with him-we would have been done and over with this a long time ago. Others have given up because of the complexity of our case, they don t care enough, and only see dollar signs on our forehead. With our previous attorney every email, phone call from myself or from my ex husband s attorney, messages relayed to their secretary, etc; was documented and charged. I have literally been given a fee sheet on the cheapest person to turn to in their firm-vs going straight to my attorney. So question is-who did I truly have a relationship with-or who really knew what was going on. Not my attorney. We have NOT gotten results from anybody but David. He is the one I talk to and relay messages with-not his staff (except when he is in court). David is the first attorney that puts himself in our shoes and tries to figure out how to get through to the judge to get her to see the big picture and what we are fighting for. I can t tell you how confident I feel walking into a courtroom with David-he stood true to his word that he will fight to the end of the world and back with us. He s genuinely a good guy and is not about digging in your pocket for your business. He cares. I promise you will feel the same and see what I see in him.
