1/6/24 updated They will lie to you on the phone called from the parking lot of ikea to see if they had any old tub was told they didnt but I had a feeling from the attitude in persons voice it was probably a lie decided to take the gamble and spend the extra 5minutes to come in to find a full shelf of old tub The staff here all needs to be retrained or fired ************* Honestly one of the worst liquor stores around seems every time I go its something new either the staff isnt trained properly the item shows its in stock online an is not actually in stock Call to verify item is in stock to show up to be told it isnt when I was told they had it Credit/debit card system is constantly down and instead of closing at 9 like every other liquor store its 7 Better off going 2minutes across the street and getting treated with a 100% better customer care

Limited wine selection at the round rock location. Wine prices are not all that great. HEB is cheaper on many bottles. We have to use a debit card to save 5%. Lame. Not all wine bottles qualify for a ten percent discount, so when you buy 6 or more, if you buy 6 and just one is not marked for 6 bottle discounts, you dont get a discount on any of the other bottles. Lame. Their liquor prices are higher than total wine. At least the Irish whiskey I typically buy is. They are still cheaper than Twins and all the mom and pop places at least. Some employees appearances are less than desirable; dudes with longhair and long painted fingernails.

I went from being overwhelmed by the friendly guy on the floor who gave me some great information about Mezcal to being way past underwhelmed by the lack of knowledge, friendliness and basic customer. Anastaica should go through some basic customer service training. I asked about how the price is determined by paying cash or not, she didn t know. Didn t bother to even call someone over to ask. When I first got to Specs I asked her if someone could help me with some questions. All she did was turned and pointed in the direction of a couple of other employees. Not a word uttered. Who hires someone with this lack of personality? Best and worst experience all in one visit.

Went in looking for a couple of specific items. One of them appeared to be out of stock, but I figured I d ask an employee just to make sure they didn t have any in the inventory in the back. The employee that helped me was rude, sarcastic, and disrespectful from the moment we engaged in conversation. When he looked on a different shelf than the one I had previously checked, I made a comment that I didn t realize there were some of the brand I was looking for there versus where I had been looking. He said, in a condescending tone, Those down there are the margaritas; you are not looking for a margarita. I decided to brush off his attitude, so I just smiled and asked if they had any more of what I was looking for. He sarcastically responded, Oh, hold on, let me check! and I started to say Oh, thank you, when I realized he was slowly leaning over to look at the clearly empty shelf we had just found. He looked up at me and (again, sarcastically) said, Nope. It doesn t appear that we do. At that point, I was done. I set down the item that I had already picked up, mustered up the last shred of courtesy I had and said, Thanks anyways and walked out the front door. I had never been to Specs before, and will not return again. Total Wine will continue to have my business from here on out.

Im really sorry for this branch, for the way they treat customers, anywhere else in the world they respect customers and dont keep saying well close in 10 minutes. You cant find what you want in 10 minutes!
