Lauren and Lexi at Anthem Stories were amazing to work with to create an evening of celebration with family and friends for a wedding reception for over one hundred. The space itself lends the perfect ambiance with minimal decoration to mingle while nibbling incredible appetizers. Thank you so much for the perfect evening!

Anthem Stories was the perfect venue for our wedding! Not only is it beautiful but the staff is amazing and organized. Our day could not have been more perfect. The food and drinks were the cherry on top! A special shout-out to Lauren and Lexi for always replying promptly to any questions we had and with kindness. They did a wonderful job at making sure the day was perfect. I definitely recommend having your wedding/event at Anthem Stories!

Excellent Hall, beautiful, and spacious. Very well located. The staff are professional, organized, respectful, and efficient. I hosted my wifes Graduation Party there and was maximally satisfied. Its an ultimate experience.

An awesome experience! A Tell-Tale Heart is one of my favorites by Poe and to hear it dramatically performed was spine-chilling! The lady that performed this one was phenomenal! I would absolutely recommend this to anybody!

Love love loved the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy we attended here! The performers were wonderful and the Poe inspired cocktails really added to the overall experience. Super excited to see what else Anthem Stories has in store in the future

Beautiful venue. Very classy. Serving staff was efficient and nice. This would be a great place for a wedding, reception, or any other event that you want a little bit of class. Wonderful wide staircase. Wood floors that would be great for dancing. Highly recommend.

My company hosted our monthly team meeting at Anthem STORIES this past week and it was a SUPERB decision to have it there. All the staff I worked with (shout out to Lauren & Grayson!) were super helpful, generous, and hospitable. The space is beautiful, the coffee and pastries are tasty, and it provides a nice view of downtown Waco, particularly in the evening. I cannot recommend hosting your next event, large or small, at Anthem STORIES enough.

I stopped by the little indoor coffee shop inside this event space. The cappuccino was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and social. Definitely enjoyed the quick pit stop.

This is one of the most beautiful historic places in Waco. The ambiance is exquisite. Its historical features and beautiful eloquent design make this a place for any occasion. The wooden floors and staircase leading up to the second level fashioned for the awesome view.

I ll start off by saying the building itself is absolutely beautiful and the pictures my photographer took look amazing. Unfortunately, the overall experience with Anthem Stories was extremely stressful and more disappointing than I d like to admit. I understand we hired a new venue that had their fair share of growing pains over the past year so I will leave out everything we experienced before the wedding day. The current staff tried their best to make up for the issues we encountered pre-wedding day, but they were not prepared to handle a wedding this size. 1. We paid for a buffet for 350 people. Roughly 300 people showed up and roughly 40 didn t get to eat (that I know of). The guests that didn t get to eat also waited in line for 30 minutes before they were informed there was no more food. There was staff standing behind the food, but they were not serving or monitoring how much was being taken. Later in the evening extra food was put out to help compensate, but unfortunately the guests who did not get to eat at dinner had already left. 2. 10 people in our wedding party were stuck in the elevator after taking pictures on the rooftop and the fire department had to be called. Honestly, I thought it was funny at the time even though it set us back 45 minutes. Where the issue came in for me was that the elevator was no longer operable for the rest of the evening. My mother, my husband s grandparents and several other guests were not able to attend the dance in the basement due to the inoperable elevator. The bartenders also had to lug their coolers full of ice, boxes of alcohol and mixers up and down the stairs. 3. I was told the venue staff would cut our cakes. I had to find staff to take the cake to the back 20 minutes after we cut it. I then realized an additional 30 minutes later that the groom s cake was still sitting on the cake table untouched. In addition, the cake slices were set out without any utensils. My sister saw a guest eating cake with her hands and went to ask for forks. 4. We, as the renters, were required to make sure all trash was put away at the end of the night. There were zero trash cans for the guests to use throughout the day. My family had to find trash cans at the end of the night to help clean every single bottle/cup/napkin that was used during a 6 hour period even though I was told I did not need to hire a cleaning crew, they would take care of it. I felt like I, as the bride, was running around trying to find someone to talk to. The bartenders also mentioned they had a hard time finding someone to ask questions as they had several guests coming to them to ask questions about the food and venue. I understand we were a big group, and with that comes a lot of work. Unfortunately for us, the venue and staff fell short of making this a smooth event for me, my husband, wedding party and guests. Once again, the venue was physically beautiful and the current staff tried very hard to make up for all of the issues I had throughout the process. They just weren t staffed for a 300+ wedding.

I had my sororitys formal at anthem stories and it was such a great place to have an event!! Everyone that worked there was so nice and accommodating and it was such a fun event and a big part of that was the location, catering, and help from those who work there.

We loved hosting our baby shower at Anthem STORIES!! The space clean and beautiful, and a perfect size for our 60 guests (we used the mezzanine space). We had food catered through Anthem and it was all delicious! The staff was attentive, organized, and kind from the beginning of the planning process through the end. I highly recommend booking this venue for any and all events!
