Really nice hip hop culture brunch spot. Ordered the mimosa flight, catfish and waffles, and chicken and biscuits and it was delicious. Next time Im in town I will be here again!

Half the food was cold, and how do you not have any fish, which is half the menu, and then no ketchup for the cold potatoes. Way to overpriced for the poor experience as well. We also had room temperature mimosas. So, in the end, cold food and warm drinks.

I wanted to like it. However, the music was too loud for brunch. I couldnt hear the person next to me. The greeter had to scream to ask me how many? The catfish was overcooked, the waffles are frozen waffles not freshly made (confirmed by waitress) and 3 little sauteed popcorn shrimp with my shrimp and grits left alot to be desired.

The customer service was nonexistent in here. My friend came from Chicago to celebrate another friends birthday. The place wasnt packed at all. It took an hour to get an appetizer. Once it came, I got it to go and left. The appetizer was good; its just too bad I didnt have hours to wait to see what the food was like. May give it another try buuuuuut

Not even 1 positive thing to say about place. If your looking for nice, keep looking. It is run down, everything was marked, burned, scratched, cracked. The restrooms didnt have toilet paper. So freaky loud we couldnt even hear one another even though we were screaming. Plasic glasses and utensils, at least the dishes wasnt a paper plate. Service was awful; no second mimosas for us, she never came back. I guess thats why they automatically added gratitude. The Mimosas were the worst I ever had. They also failed to mention it is a hooka lounge. Not exactly what I want to smell when eating my overpriced disgusting food. Dennys is better quality. They need to do a public service and close this place. DONT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had high hopes for this place because a friend of mine said the food was good. The food is the only thing keeping this place afloat, and it would ve been better if they didn t bring it out cold. The entire establishment needs to be wiped down. We were initially seated at a table next to a dirty white wall and a sticky table. So we had to ask to be moved. The waitresses took FOREVER to bring us anything. I even had to hunt them down to ask for condiments and water! Then they act like you re bothering them. They all look unprofessional and unkept. It was just a mess, I wouldn t go back. Decent food. Terrible service!

The customer service in this place was terrible beyond unprofessional. We sat for 2 hours and NEVER received any food. 1hr into waiting the server came and told us they had no lamb chops to serve us! They couldve at came out and consulted/reassure us on the hold up! I asked for manager they never came out. I looked over at the table the hookah man was arguing with customers! The restaurant lacks structure, management, & planning! It take money & organization to flourish. You lose before you come up. Invest into your workers, food, & structure! Y all. I hate to do bad reviews but after 2.5 hours of waiting midday (1pm to be exact) I wish y all could see the salt that I tasted in my food. Very much so understaffed. Poor Kay tried her very best to bartend, take all orders, run food and everything else. I hate that we even wasted our time waiting. So many parties left without their orders being delivered. I love experiencing black restaurants when I m out of town but there s no doubt in my mind that this one let me down. Owner no where to be found and help needed! We had to ask for extra lettuce for the salad, the fish came out wrong and high blood pressure assumed during my first bite. I m sorry but this was bad. Real bad.

OVERPRICED for what you receive!!! I think this is seafood shrimp scampi Not Mac & cheese No cheese sauce only oil! Presentation was excellent but taste was Not good for a true Mac and cheese $16. Needs cheesy sauce. Shrimp Poboy was excellent by the way! 2 drink made me relaxing but $24 for 2 mixed drinks is too much! Not really mimosas more cocktail (liquor) drink with a slash of champagne. I m not complaining. Just pricy and unexpected. Pricey for a small business lacking greeting, and with greasy food. It s a seat yourself restaurant with no sign to tell you so, a lot of business was loss while we waited to be seated (no service upfront to greet you) and even after they made us aware of seating ourselves new people came in and left out due to lack of communicating this. Too pricey, large quantity is a plus, but extra greasy food is a negative. Good not great atmosphere. Nice wait staff, good music. Unexpected Service charge on order, smh so NO TIP from me. Overall it s a wanna be upscale dinning but lacks completion. Not executed correctly. Very unbalance is this a mom and papa or upscale restaurant? Make your mind up! Get rid of greasy Mac and cheese or just name it seafood shrimp scampi and still less grease please! Greet your customers at the door and seat them, if you are going for upscale food with a high end price. Treat me as to what I am paying for. I m not just here for your food but the entire experience!

Terribleeeee experience and I will be doing a tik tok as I have proof of my terribleeee experience. I ve been to this place twice the first time was okay. However, it took our server 30 minutes to come back to get our drink orders after our party arrived. The second time I came we were not greeted by a host at all. We then sat ourselves. After about 20 minutes of not being greeted I went to the bar to ask if we were supposed to sit ourselves. She responded very snotty you can if you want to . I responded okay we ve been sitting over there and pointed at our table. I then went to sit back down to witness two of the bartenders arguing with other guest and watching a server in the corner across from my table on her phone the entire time and never asked if we needed help or anything. As I said before I have video footage. After about 40 minutes we never got greeted at all and as we were leaving out of the door I told the security this is terrible and he responded I know . Do not go here this place sucks and all of the servers are terrible .

This place is nasty and I dont mean the food or drinks. I mean the restaurant. There were dead bugs that had been there forever, dust so thick you could draw in it, stains from drinks that had spilled from what looks like weeks ago. Just filthy. Then the chicken had feathers in it. It is a beautiful place but it is not a clean environment. This is the dining space. I could imagine what the kitchen looks like. I was completely turned off. If you dont mind filth then check it out but dont say I did not warn you.

The place looks nice on the inside and its a nice chill hangout spot. The drinks are decent but Ill never buy any food ever again. The food is about a 1 star. I got a chicken biscuit and the chicken was inedible. It was too hard to chew and dry. I was almost offended that they served it to me with a straight face. Service wasnt terrible but definitely not great. I would go back again if I was looking for a lowkey spot to chill at and could not find anywhere else though. Forgot to mention, the floors were sticky like they had never been mopped before

Went on a Friday night around 10:30 p.m. Seating was available, so that wasn t an issue. We ordered wing baskets. The food was good, but we were overcharged $10. Luckily I look at my receipts, so the waitress had to fix it. They had drink specials. We got the $5 margaritas. They taste pretty good, just don t expect them to have much alcohol. The hookah was overpriced, in comparison to other venues. It was $50 (for one hose). The hookah tasted burnt and irritated my throat. DJ played great music. Restrooms were clean and lots of parking.

Horrible HOT Experience !! - Waste of time - Waste of money I was really looking forward to a great experience, but this didnt occur From the door: Not greeted with a smile and hello;instead, it was someone who didnt care. I explained that we had a group and was placed in the back corner of the establishment. Service, it took so long for someone to take orders at the table. I paid for a liquor tower that took forever, and to make matters worse, all of the prices changed after ordering items. Everything that was advertised was wrong or not in stock. The bartender was very difficult and extremely slow. I kept having to ask for the same thing. A new waitress was there, but no one offered her any help. The waitress kept my card for so long I had to keep asking for it. Also, I got home to see I was charged extra, at a Four Top Table... I had to walk to the bar and request ice water cups and walk them over to the table. Again, the main bartender had no clue of what was going on; unorganized; and false advertised specials that were not in effect yet made us the items anyway. Leaving us to pay out regardless Food: Out of wings, and everyone was limited to brunch items until 4 pm. We sat at 1pm Catfish/Grits/Shrimp: OVERPRICED! Grits were runny. CATFISH was crispy and seasoned well ( small portion). Shrimp was supposed to be fried but wasnt, and it seemed like the food wasnt hot. It was almost like it was sitting out. The Restaurants A/C didnt work properly. I thought it was just a circulation problem in our area, but it was fairly warm throughout. That area needs fans or light canceling panels. Overall, the experience went from bad to worse. Dishonest, uninviting, poor service. Save the trip. I cant believe I left a tip...

Great location, great concept but the service is HORRIBLE and the food is mid! No one addressed us when we walked in, so, we walked up to the bar and just ordered to go. It took over an hour and a half to get our food and we werent the only ones.... The waitresses continually walked past us and did not ask a thing or give updates. We had to ask several staff members about our food and they all acted as if we were getting on their nerves. The owner was there, however she was playing cards and smoking hookah. We sent an employee to her table to tell her wed been waiting over an hour and she begrudingly got up and went back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, our food was STILL not ready, but she never came to tell us instead she went back to her card game. We were there almost 2 hours, spent $85 and never saw her engage with any of her customers. The staff spent more time smoking hookah than checking on customers. As for the food, we ordered chicken and got fish....but we werent waiting for them to correct it. After paying the ticket, we stopped just to let the owner know how long wed waited for our food, she never apologized....just said the food was cooked fresh to order and was authentic so there would always be a wait. Needless to say, she said it with an attitude. The mac-n-cheese is bland. The greens were alright at best. The wings were good. The chicken and waffles were delicious but not good enough to go back considering all else. Place had a good crowd for a Thursday night but wasnt full but tables werent clean and the floor was sticky (not clean.) For what we paid and what we got....wont be going back....

Came on a Friday night with 2 other couples. The food was great! I had honey lemon pepper wings with fries. My husband ordered boudin egg rolls. My friend had collard greens and I tasted some. Wow!! This was my first time at ESO Mimosa Bar and Im highly disappointed. I Found this place when I was looking for a place to watch the Spence/Crawford fight. Lets start with I was not seated the the area I paid for. The area were they did seat me they only had one tv working (in Spanish). The poor girl took 45mins trying to get the other two tvs to work and they still froze during the fight. Not enough wait staff, only two severs for the section I was seated in. The DJ played music all the way up until the first punch was thrown. No drink/food menu. Over priced for the drinks. I ended up watching the fight on my phone. Over all this place was not prepared, also they have no idea what good customer service looks like. I will not return. I absolutely agree with @Shonnie Evans.

Booked a table for the Spence/Crawford fight they played music during the walkout and part of the fight. Didn t have speakers or anything just the tv sound so you could barely hear. Couldn t see the TVs at all without standing or breaking your neck trying to look up and they only had the fight on two tvs. Terrible service, it was dirty (as always), and our table was so shakey we couldn t even eat on the table. They ran out of fries (not sure how that even happens when you know you are having an event). The bar was cash only which was not mentioned in the event posting when you bought your tickets. Clearly a money grab and they have no intentions of making things right which is very sad. This is my third time at eso s and the last time. I feel bad for the servers who had to deal with the problems of having the worst management and dealing with being understaffed and overwhelmed. Management, organizers, and security standing around DRINKING on the job. The cook kept coming out to watch the fight. It was so disorganized the place literally cleared out after the fight. They have TVs with advertisements for events that don t even happen anymore (I m sure because nobody comes due to how terrible it is). Please do not waste your time here there are so many other great black businesses to support that actually care about our money and the service we receive (temptations, ella b s, daiquiri depot, etc).

My recommendation is for everyone to never attend this place. I decided to book a table for the Spencer/Crawford fight and everything promised was not delivered. For starters, why would an establishment sell tables for an event that surrounds watching TV when their TVs DO NOT WORK! Secondly, why would you have only a handful of servers when the entire place is PACKED? Thirdly, why would advertise that two complimentary bottles would be given when you bring them out a HOUR after our table is seated and then offer the Wycliff brand($3.95 at Total Wine). Lastly, why would you only have a cash bar with no prior notice? Overall, this place clearly hosted the fight for a money grab because they definitely didnt deliver or try to ensure their guest had a pleasant experience. For them to seat people outside, but not have the fight showing on the screens there and to be trying to fix the TVs at 10 oclock when the main fight was less than a hour away shows that management lacks MANAGEMENT SKILLS. This is my second time trying to give this place a chance and will for sure be my last. Truly a waste of time and money.

Ive been twice. On different days but at the same time. Weekend service definitely sucked (surprisingly). Waiter wasnt attentive and we had to find her everytime we needed something. The food menu said that it had pasta, but didnt list all of the ingredients. My friend doesnt eat pork and they served us a dish with pork sausage. Waiter lied and said that it was chicken sausage . Food was subpar. I went before on a Thursday and everything was great! Food was good, ambiance was chill till it got dark. They turnt it up! Waiters are friendly and attendant. Went here for a graduation celebration and the $150 deposit for the reservation was already done in advance. When our party arrived this establishment stated they didn t have an reservation and asked for proof of payment. Once proof was provided we sat around for approximately 30 minutes and of course we all know how hungry you are after church. The staff finally decided to sit our group in the back. We sat around for approximately 15 more minutes and our order still wasn t taken. We finally said forget it and went to a fast food restaurant and got treated better there than this place and paid a third of the price we would of spent here.

Visiting Dallas area for a few weeks and wanted to go to a lit Sunday brunch. I was skeptical about going due to the negative reviews about slow service. Thankfully and fortunately, I didn t have the same negative experience. My overall experience was excellent!! Great food/drinks, excellent music playing, fast and friendly service. We ordered catfish shrimp and grits, wing basket, chicken and waffles, and the 4 flight mimosas. There was a picture person on site that offered pictures in a frame to remember the occasion. The picture frame was really cute made of glass and mirror. There was 14 yr old in our party of 4, so I wasn t sure if he would be able to come in but kids ARE ALLOWED. There was a toddler there in another party. When I come back to Dallas in the fall, I will be coming back. I found my lit Sunday brunch! Very terrible customer service. The server never came out of the back after she was supposed to bring us water to start so had to order my food at the bar. Eso is a big No! The service was absolutely terrible from beginning to end. We had to find somewhere else to go because the waitress kaila (or something with a k) was rude, didn t know or care to find answers to our questions about the menu. Then she just flat out stop coming out to help us. It got worse after we called the manager over. The spinach dip was torched on top but not warm. I was really excited to try the boudin eggrolls but they had NO flavor. And she held them hostage while she asked us about a table deposit. The first thing we did was order drinks she never brought mine. We tried to let her know it was someone s birthday she said ok, so the service was sooooooooo bad here the entire group slowly but surely lost all of our energy. The things people complain at this restaurant are easy fixes. Just clean up. Bathrooms are disgusting. Floors were sticky. I went to meet some people for brunch on a Friday and didn t even want to eat it was so disgusting. Food and drinks came out at a slow rate. Poor people skill with no accommodation. The front host was trying to help as much as possible after almost three hours we were seated. The party that occupied the seating we were waiting for was ALLOWED to take their time to pay. I asked if there would be any type of accommodation at the end of our experience due to us being inconvenienced by another party. i believe they were afraid to move them along. Me and my family were told that unfortunately they would not be able to courtesy us anything. We asked for a manager early on and of course they avoided coming out to even handle the matter. I m a black owned business and i know these people need business etiquette. I guess i should not have complained because the environment kinda spoke for itself! Never ever again .

I wanted to like this place so bad but I was with a big party and it s sad they only had one server for all of us. I literally had to wait an hour on ketchup. My first drink was great but an hour later when I got my second one , it was watered down. My shrimp was good. My crab dip was good. I couldn t take the rest home due to not having enough time to wait on a to go box. My server was nice but she couldn t do everything for everyone. Definitely need more staff. And I will add , the floor is extremely sticky and my table wasn t the cleanest. This can be such a great place.

6.11.23; my first time going. I arrived a little before midnight. The security guard checked my ID, and I went in waiting to be seated. After a few minutes, I went back outside and asked the security guard if I just sit myself, but he went and got someone. There was one lady who was supposed to be the host and waitress! Definitely more staff is needed. She told me the late menu was all that was being served. I scanned the QR code to view but was told only the baskets were available. I ordered the wing basket and a margarita. Both were $15 each, which I think is overpriced; the drink was very smalland filled with a lot of ice. They didnt have ranch!! The atmosphere is definitely a club vibe, but it was very chill. I would like to try it during the day to taste other types of food and drinks. When I left, the security guard offered and walked me to my car, which was very nice, especially since I was alone.

I went here Friday night on June 2nd . I arrived at eso mimosa bar and was seated at 8:30 pm with a party of 3 including myself.before arriving my friend had went up to your restaurant at 4:54 pm & was told that happy hour is between 5-9 pm . Once I waitress came she told us that happy hour ended at 7 pm which makes absolutely no sense ! . On you all website your happy hour says it ends 5-10 pm: however on your Instagram it says 5-7 . This is why I had to send a friend to go to the restaurant before hand to get clarification because honestly it is all over the place ! . .I ordered strawberry Hennessy drink which is 17.00 I didn t touch my drink at all ! The smell of the drink was strong , I ve been to your restaurant before and had this drink however the smell of it was horrible I sent the drink back untouched . The waitresses then showed us a happy hour menu on her phone which Included a strawberry margarita that I ordered instead . . She told us that there s different happy hours which is nowhere on you all s website nor is is on your menu from the happy hour menu . however when I the bill was received the happy hour price did not reflect . I also was charged for the strawberry Hennessy drink as well .I talked to the manger and she told me that there was nothing she could do , which I found crazy !. I showed the manger you all advertisement for happy hour via your website and your instagram and even mentioned to her the happy hour our waitress showed us on her phone . The manger said that you all website advertising managers aren t updating the website correctly, but as the customer I feel as if that is not my problem nor should I be having to go back and forth for this . Okay so I felt catfish by their IG posts and all. Went there last minute late date night with my hubby. We arrived 20 minutes or so before midnight as they close at 2 AM. Got seated quickly and the rest not so much. Water was brought over by the hostess, who informed us that our waitress would be with us shortly. We sat there and waited and waited, and the hostess comes back and asked if we have been waiting on, which was still a no after 15-20 minutes! The same hostess finally comes over, grabs a receipt from a previous table with a pen, and takes our order on the back of the receipt. We both ordered the same drink, which by the way supposedly known for their mimosas. It wasn t a mimosa once it actually finally did arrive, which came after the dinner. So let s talk about the so-called dinner. They have a late night menu, but the only thing they had was shrimp basket, and wing basket. I m trying to understand how a whole establishment only has enough food left to offer 2 options if they were going to still be open for another two hours, disappointing to say the least. The baskets did come out very quickly, we both ordered the lemon pepper wings that came with fries. The wings were very hot so I ll give them kudos to that, but there was nothing lemon pepper about the wings we received. We ate as much as we could definitely did not drink the so-called mimosas and we ended up leaving. For a place that includes 20% gratuity already in the bill, they really need to step up their service and menu options availability. The location is great. It is not too far from Global Life Field in Arlington, restaurant inside isn t bad as far as looks and the DJ on Friday night was lit. However, everything else was terrible.

Okay...I tried to give this place a chance. Im convinced that Black people in the Dallas area are so desperate for Black spaces that they settle for places like this. Food was good. Thats it. Extremely over priced. And I like spending money on great food. But this isnt it. You can get better food at the same price or cheaper at some fine dining restaurants in Dallas. Sidenote...I went for brunch both times. The menu is extremely limited during brunch and thats understandable. The price of the food needs to match the experience. And unfortunately many Black owned businesses in Dallas know that a lot of Black people dont know that. Because why am I paying $25 for an entrée, but your floors are sticky? Ive been here twice and experienced this both times. Why are they buckets and rags on the floor that youre cleaning the tables with? Why when I go in the bathroom right when it opens and it isnt clean? Why when I put my name on a list youre using a notebook? If youre charging this much for food, this should NOT be the experience. I had THE WORST old fashioned in my life here and it was a drink listed on the menu. When I told my server, who saw I literally took one sip and told them I didnt want it, they said they dont refund drinks. Theyre charging premium price for cocktails and dont know how to make them. Ive gone to the best bars in Dallas, and if there ever is an issue with your drink they dont charge you and or make you something else. Good restaurants want you to leave happy. This is another restaurant whose main goal is money. As Im reading the reviews, I see that management has taken none of this feedback and done better. They are in these reviews arguing with people instead of using it as feedback to improve! YIKES! If every other review is saying your floors are sticky...fix it. Just wow. Unfortunately this is another Black owned business taking advantage of the lack of dining experience many Black people dont have. Again, Ive been here twice and had the same experience. With months between visits. If you like paying premium price for food when youll leave with sticky shoes and have to look at the cheap paint job, amongst other things, then this is the place for you!

Food is AMAZING, and the drinks are GOOD. I will say that. I came here two days in almost a row (Friday and Sunday for Brunch). On Friday I came after work for happy hour so I arrived around 1700 or so and I walked right in that I didn t know if the place was open or not. There was Security at the door but they just kinda stared at me lol. So I walk in and immediately I am impressed by the setup and immediately disappointed by the up keep. The floor was sticky and dirty. The bar was dirty and the bartender took about 5 minutes . Okay maybe not 5 minutes lol but you know what I mean lol. She took her time to even attempt to wipe the counter down so I can sit and eat. Mind you there was NO ONE at the bar when I walked in. Nonetheless, I stayed and enjoyed myself until about 2100 at that s when the crowd changed to a much more younger crowd (21-35). And that was my cue to leave lol. I came for Sunday Brunch and yep, the floor was still sticky (what s up with that). But the food was AMAZING. I had the Catfish, Shrimp and grits with a side of scrambled eggs (you can t have grits without eggs) and it was DELICIOUS. And it also attracted the younger crowd with the louder music and so on. I m NOT KNOCKING IT, it s just not my cup of tea. I definitely recommend this place. The vibe is NICE and the food is AMAZING.

Very loud, cant even talk to the person sitting next to you. Fish fried too hard. Very expensive. Did not get the receipt correct and I was told to figure it out myself. When there is a large number of people, you need to ask if there should be more than one ticket. I want to make the decision about how much to tip not the restaurant. Laron, our waiter (he has locs) was great! we got there about 30mins before dinner (so brunch was still being served), so we chose to wait (which in total was an hr wait & we were perfectly OK with that). the drinks & food were AMAZING, the place is beautiful, Laron was consistent & kind. i def want to come back!! also, this is a black owned business, i have nothing negative to say because it s a beautiful establishment & the music, food, & staff were on point. This place has the potential to be great but upkeep can definitely be improved. Went in on a Friday early evening, we were told it was open seating, but almost all the tables were visibly soiled (hadnt been cleaned from the previous patrons). We finally found a table near the bar that was clean but nearby there were 2 trash cans overflowing with trash near the bar/patio entry. The floor was slightly sticky from front door to table. There was trash under the peoples feet at the bar. Meanwhile, there are staff members sitting chit-chatting instead of sweeping or cleaning tables. Against my better judgment I ordered the seafood potato (which is what I drove all the way there for) and I was actually surprised that it looked exactly as advertised. The potato was really delicious and presented well! My drink was mediocre (watered down). The music was engaging, kept me grooving. Restroom is clean!!! Again this place has the potential to be great with some environmental TLC.

Stopped in as I was waiting to be able to check into my hotel across the street. When I walked in the Hostess was very welcoming. When I sat down Bartender was phenomenal!!!! I believe his name was Chris. He hooked me up with a Southern Belle Mimosa which was on point. He was so welcoming and Hospitable. Atmosphere was also very nice. We arrived ten minutes after opening (10 after 12) and the staff was still cleaning and prepping the patio and tables inside. The atmosphere is very uninviting as the no decor giving the place an under construction feel). We were seated immediately... and then we WAITED! Our server was very nice, but it took her quite a while to get us. When she arrived she brought us water in clear plastic cups and sat our PLASTICware on the table. We placed our drinks order and then we WAITED! The server stopped by and told us she was still waiting on the bar to prep our drinks. In the meantime we went ahead and placed our food order. We cannot tell you how the drinks and food are because by 12:56 we were over the wait so we left. With the service we did (not) receive, Im amazed the owners feel its okay to implement a 20% automatic gratuity as this establishment needs a lot of work and the stiff gratuity is robbery! We visited on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. We are in town from Atlanta and saw this place on social media. We were sat right away at a dirty table. Our waitress approached quickly with waters (tasted gross). We review the menu attempt to order appetizers just to be told they werent do any. Ok so we orders drink flights and review menu. Menu was limited to about 6-7 items. After all the confusion & none of the menu items we wanted being available we decided not to order food. Lets switch to Memphis Mane & the hookah service offered. I have never been treated so rude. The menu was very vague - didnt list a price -didnt advise they only serve e-hookahs -doesnt say no refunds. Hookah was $50 and when she came to the table with the e-hookah we were confused so requested the manager/owner. He comes to the table immediately says no he doesnt offer refunds. I explain were from out of town and dont do e-hookahs. The menu doesnt say that. He became defensive staying you can assume from the menu blah blah blah. Then walked off. We finished our drinks & left. I own a hookah company & would NEVER treat a customer like that. Sad when this happens bc now I have to write this review and advise my cc company so my money can be returned to me. We would have tipped the girl & even accepted a partial refund. The best thing about this place was the dj and Nate the security officer. Atlanta would never be treat its visitors like this!

I was so excited to visit this spot in Arlington! Their online presence gave classy and chill vibe with the menu to have you doing the praise dance. This excitement didn t last too long though. If you re looking for cute with a side of ratchetery nightclub environment where you can order some good food then this is the right place for you. The drinks need to be revamped. Seriously. Please, recraft your cocktails because they are not good. I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood baked potatoe and the honey shrimp (FIRE). But back to the cocktails...Im a libation connoisseur so I know my flavors and spirits. The ESO magarita is horrible, too much of the margarita mix. The strawberry henny was trash too, you need to incorporate more fresh ingredients to your cocktails to better the flavors. I love the music but cant hear nothing over it. Maybe this is not the spot for me but I cant avoid supporting Black Owned Businesses...Overall, the experience is similar to one you would receive in a night club...Hookah, photos, loud music. This was our first time trying out this restaurant and it was a very low grade experience. Our waiter Kennedy was really slow and she had an attitude. If I could give this place Zero stars I would. I attempted to make a reservation the day begore, following their email guidelines, no one ever responded to me so me and my party of 3 went ahead and attempted to walk in. When I asked for a table i stated a party of 4 because we eere expecting someone, but she was 1 hour away, but we wanted her to have a seat upon arrival, but I was told every member has to be present, so i changed to party of 3 because we were all present. The hostess rudely told me she couldnt seat us because i originally told her 4 and she knew 4 were attempting to come. So i explained to her our 4th person was en route, she says well if they are 1 hour away, each table only has a 2 hour eating time so they wouldnt extend the time, I was ok with that. I went to the car to grab my 2 other friends, as we walked back in 1 person fiverted to the bathromm INSIDE of the establishment, in which the hosteds helped her find. I walked back to the podium and state party of 3, she reiterates everyone must be present. I say thr 3rd went to the bathroom and you just showed her where it was. The hostess then gets a nasty attitude with me saying she wouldnt seat us if she didnt see us all together. Once the 3rd person finishes up. I tell my friend to sleak to her because i was simply done with her rudeness, she then gets an attiyude with my friend and tells us she wouldnt seat us because she have our table away to a different party of 3 and we would either need to wait of find somewhere else to eat. I attempted to ask for management and she stated she was the shift lead and no one else was available, and if i didnt like it to send an email. I witnessed her turn away 3 other large parties who would have possibly brought several thousand of dollars of revenue into the business. When i tried to get her name, she refused to provide it to me. Me and my party took her advice and went somewhere where our presence would be treated better. As a person visiting from out of town, the host definitely set the tone on how a persons experience will be in a business and she completely ruined this place for me and my family.

This place deserves 0 stars & the BBB or whomever needs to shut them down asap. I m on day 3 of food poisoning, the others in my group thankfully are well but had terrible uncooked food as well. I received food poisoning from their seafood fries (shrimp), the others had lamb & pasta. I visited on 3/19 around 4:30 pmish w/a party of 4. We couldn t make any reservations b/c we kept calling but the # wasn t working. The wait time to be seated wasn t an issue abt 30 mins which is avg. Our waitress was slim, tall, short dreads or twist w/blonde tips - she was horrible, couldn t remember anything, & so slow. Sweet but horrible service. Food, appetizers, alcohol, & soda didn t arrive until 2 1/2 HOURS from being ordered. Majority of the time we had to just go wait at the bar to order drinks ourselves which was still extremely slow. It wasn t busy so I m so confused why the service was so bad & slow. I ve never had food poisoning, but at 5:00 am the very next day I felt death. The DJ was excellent & played to the crowd. Crowd was great. I just got discharged front the ER. We all paid on one tab and it was never worth the money nor the additional tip we gave. I d love for a manager to contact me b/c this is so unacceptable. The restrooms were horrendous as well. Hate that my sister s bday was spent here & this was our first experience. I will ever be back for even free water! Vegetarian options: No accommodations, they will say one this but bring you what you re allergic to anyway if you don t have a good eye. In response to the owner responding to my post that we only waited 44 min we got there at 5:45 and ordered at 6:10 and left at 7:35 with no food so please tell me how we only waited 44min for food, that we never got?? And in response to your reservation policy, there was no way to call and make a reservation over the phone everything was handled by email and when sending out an email previously no response was gotten so no there was not a way to make a reservation properly prior so even if a special accommodation was made it was all in consequence to the fact that proper reservations for larger parties could not be made. Our server was rude and the hostess looked high so if there was a manager or owner in place at the moment as much as we complained, someone besides our server should ve have come by and that was never the case. So like I previously stated your established is very unprofessional and again I highly do not recommend!

Ay yooo!! I came with 8 people. We had to agree to everything being on one check, first inconvenience. We ordered our drinks and food together, and waited almost 30 minutes for the drinks. Two of us received the incorrect drink. When we initially requested a change in the drink or a refund, we were told no refunds or exchanges were allowed. At this point, were STILL waiting on our food. Luckily, we were able to speak with upper management, and the drinks were removed. After some more time (almost 1.5 hrs), we just requested our food be placed in to go boxes. We were told we would have to do that bc the food was almost done. We said ok. Here comes the receipt. This business charges not just a gratuity of 18% but also a service fee! Which was $13.50 by itself, plus they did not remove the drinks. The waitress looked annoyed we wanted it removed. About 10 minutes goes by, and another server says they havent even started on our food. We just asked for an updated receipt and paid for our drinks. Service was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, and we all had to leave hungry. Yea, the music is good but not good enough to be hongry. Do you hear me! Dont go.

Worst experience ever. Went to celebrate with some friends, we sat there for an hour still waiting on drinks. An hour later we were still waiting on food, so I advised them to box it to go when it s ready and bring the checks, which apparently they can only do one check a table. The waitress informs me the food is ready and will take more time to box it so we said we would box it ourselves. 10min later we still have no food so we tell her to cancel whatever is not ready. Another 10min go by and we are given a check with drinks only because they canceled all the food. Most unorganized, unprofessional, and unempathetic establishment I ve ever been too. Will never go back and neither should you waste your time trying to try them out.

This is a great new spot. I love black owned businesses. It stay busy. The owner is very personable and provide great customer service to all her customers and that is a plus for me. I really enjoy the silent party whenever they have another one I do plan to attend again. My only concern is that they are short staffed, but I understand that it is a new business and that comes with the territory. Keep up the great work.

Ive enjoyed this spot the 2nd time at the Silent party this past Saturday, the atmosphere is a whole vibe and we had a blast! Singing and dancing the night away. It was so funny taking off the headphones and hearing all the humming in the bldg! The Kool-aid mimosa was super creative and tasty . There was plenty of space to move about, enough bathrooms for the number of ppl attending, the location itself has adequate parking( The Aloft hotel is in the same parking lot, I wish I wouldve known! I wouldve stayed there and walked straight back to the room!!) and there were no issues, no craziness happening..ppl were genuinely having a great time. I will be returning for brunch as well. To the owner, I think the Silent party should return in a few months during the summer, it was a definite hit!

This restaurant has less than mediocre customer service. We sat for 15 mins before a waitress approached us and the restaurant only had 4 other customers. My waiter smelled like weed. I came in with a friend. They received their food 20 minutes before me so we didn t get to eat together. Then when my food arrived it was not what I ordered. The food is mediocre as well. I m highly disappointed in the service received. This is why black people avoid black businesses.

Well I went this past Sunday for brunch and I wasn t happy with the service or food. The dirty rice was not cooked all the way. Waitress had an attitude and we never seen her again. Had to ask another waitress for some water. Was given plastic utensils and paper cups. The music was the only good thing. The set up wasn t nice at all. It looked dirty and not well put together. We had a large party and we were unhappy. Oh and the chicken was not seasoned and waffles were hard as a rock. I can say I will not recommend this place or be back. The pictures are very deceiving. It really saddens me to write this review especially since I recommend so many to this spot. New to Arlington entertainment district and this was my go to spot. I even celebrated a birthday here to give you context. I am also in the industry so I understand. Ordered 2 meals at 9pm got 1 at 9:36 approx and another at 9:56pm. 2. The Cajun Shrimp Pasta was an appetizer. The portion was very small for the price or at least what Im use to. Its a bar so I not expecting entree but I am expecting a decent portion. Also there was maybe 1 strip of chicken ad the rest sausage. This is no exaggeration. When asked if it was the right pasta was told nicely that it comes with more sausage than chicken. The second order was the chicken and buttermilk waffles which took the longest and I didnt understand that. Also maybe due to inflation the chicken was not prepared the same as the last time I ordered the same meal and loved it. The owner eventually stepped in after I asked to cancelled the order so that I can beat the night crowd out of the bar. She was successful at getting the food but there was no apology, no empathy just the meal is a quick meal but the cook didnt know we prepare our waffles from scratch! 3. We ordered 2 Strawberry Henny which at menu price shouldve been $15 but when I got my receipt it was $17. The price difference is ok if it couldve been explained why a $2 difference but that was totally ignored. 4. After the wait, after having to box my food up and not eat with the person I came to the bar with, after the pricing mix up I really do feel there was no Make it RIght attitude from the owner or staff. It was a complete drop of service. I would certainly come back because I really do love this little spot but Wow.

So I attempted this place today and was unsuccessful. We came in around 1240-1 and was told it would be an hour wait. Okay, we decided to stay. An hour and 15 goes by and still not seated we ask the hostess how much longer and she responds we told you an hour wait. In which we replied its been over an hour. (We waited in the front right by the hostess area) She walks off and seats other customers who came after us finally we get seated at a table but its a little too cramped. We ask to be moved to a different table that needed to be cleaned. She says we can be seated as soon as its cleaned. the table is cleaned and we still were not seated after an additional 10 minutes and her sitting down we left. Now my problem here is not necessarily the wait even though it was long I expected it. My problem was the service. The hostess came off as if she didnt want to sit us and basically dismissed us. Im not sure if its because we were new faces (from Austin) or what but we did not feel welcomed. Some customers were given the option of sitting outside on the patio. We were not and others the option of the bar or other options. We were not offered any. If the hostess had made more of an effort to sit people when tables were empty instead of walking around aimlessly the wait times and people waiting could get in and out much smoother.
