The beer was great, staff was friendly and helpful but oh my it was SO HOT inside the brewery we couldn t stay after the first beer because we were dying of the heat. I think if they had air conditioning they would be so successful!

Not ready to be done for the day after exploring Waco, I crossed the bridge to Brotherwell. This is a brewery and they sometimes have a food truck. No food truck today, which was just as well, as I was well stuffed with tacos from earlier. A bit industrial and bare but they have a few tables inside and a few tables outside. I was inside and chose one of their beers, sitting at a table near a power outlet. No air conditioning other than a few high speed fans so a hot/humid day might be a challenge. Another beer and two hours later, I was ready to call it a day. Tripel, Radler, Wheat, Hazy IPA, American IPA, Porter, Irish Red and a Hazy Pale. The Wacotown was my choice and it was pretty tasty. Prices are reasonable at between $5.50 and $7.00 for a pint. Theyll pull a pitcher if you prefer. I believe you can bring your own food if you want.

Brotherwell has a cool vibe and great location. Tons of space, friendly staff. Tried the Shelter in Haze hazy-ok, looked great, but flavor was closer to an IPA than the fresh pop hazy usually encountered. Wacotown IPA definitely was, better of the two for me. Very chill space to unwind from travel or just wrap up the day.

My family and I stopped by this brewery after walking the Suspension Bridge. The hop water was tasty. It is so unique because it has just the right amount of sourness in it. The Wacotown IPA is great, and so as the Hazzy IPA. There is also a great selection of board games. My family had a great time there.

This is a cool little place, it has a strong college vibe. There is no AC but they do have a swamp cooler so its not terribley hot. I am enjoying myself and the beer is good. I had the October Fest and it was very tasty, I also had the Waco tour IPA, this was my favorite. The prices are comparable to other craft breweries. This was a good visit and I will be back.

Sorry but the beer was good but the no air conditioner was not. I am sure the place hoops in the spring and fall but the summer months are not worth going because of the lack of air conditioning. I understand wanting to be pure and old fashion but 100 degrees and loud fans are not conducive to drinking beer. I drank one and left, but my hotel had the beer on tap and I enjoyed it there in air conditioning.

Mission accomplished! I went to 2 other breweries and they did not have growlers however Brotherwell did! This place had great branding I sampled several of their beers they were delicious they also had a rattler which is beer and lemonade which uses a local manufacturer for their lemonade. I even took home a 6-pack thats how tasty their beers were. The owner and his assistant were very friendly we talked a lot about the local community and compared them to Wisconsin Also discussed whats trending in beer. This was a very pleasant stop and it always a pleasure to meet new people in the industry.

Great micro brewery. A bit warm in the Summertime but the fans kept the air moving. The Belgian Triple is exemplary, and on a hot summer day is added to fresh lemonade for a fantastic Raddler. Was also quite impressed with the Churchwarden Barleywine. Out of season but very good none the less! Shout out to the friendly service from the young lady at the taps!

Award winning Shelter in Haze (Hazy IPA) was a definite win. I especially liked the Sweet Line Coconut hard seltzer. Very refreshing on a hot Texas summer day! Check these folks out, they know how to make brews. Fair warning though, there s no AC. Open air concept (3 walls) with fans blowing. It did get hot.

Excellent brewery. The barley wine is next level. If you have been afraid of barley wine in the past slide into Brotherwell and have a pour. Their triple is also great. While we were there they have a barrel aged triple aged in Balcones Baby Blue barrels, and it was fantastic. So glad we stopped in.

Was headed to Austin but plans changed. Stopped into Brotherwell for a couple hours. Nice relaxed back brewery. Will visit again off the major path, out of the way, just like I like it. No beer snobs. Took my kids and dog and relaxed out side. Only thing this spot needs is some music playing in the back ground.

Oh brother, well, This place is excellent, while they dont offer a large quantity of beers they more than makeup for that with their quality and the relaxed atmosphere. With comfortable outdoor seating, friendly staff and excellent brews, what more can you ask for? This is a nice brewery venue that also has an roomy outdoor area with tables and space for kids to play, but no trees. However, I would have to rate the beer as average at best. I had their tripel and their porter and both were OK but fell short on flavor, maybe a bit too light/watery for the style. Hopefully they will improve their brewing skills over time.

They have the best beer with the best flavor. This is one of the those places that is going to grow and improve with time because they offer the best beer selection and service. Everytime we visit, we receive best customer service and that is why we will continue to support them. I am glad that they are one of the few local small businesses that are still open during the Covid period. Brotherwell provides great services of Waco made craft beer to Central Texas. Right now, they are providing drive thru for to go beers. Love the fact that you can purchase glass growlers and drive thru to get them refilled with a beer of your choice. The growlers come in two different sizes ( 64oz and 32oz). Brotherwell definitely brings Central Texas closer to brewing experience, the beers taste so refreshing. We tried the Hidden Herd and the robust Porter (dark beers) and wow were they so so good, I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic wit! This place is a diamond in the rough of Waco. Fair prices for great beer. The staff are kind and friendly offering samples to anyone before you commit to a pint or a flight. They have a happy hour on Saturday from noon to 2PM. They have all kinds of accessories for purchase. They have good fans and games to play.

I made a special stop at Brotherwell on me way from Ft Worth to Houston (I know this is not the shortest route). My heart sank when I found out the tap room was open Saturdays and today was Friday. I parked and went to the door anyway where I met Jason hard at work. Jason invited me in for a tasting and conversation. I have tasted over 3600 beers. Brotherwell brews some of the best. Ace of Faith Tripel is as good as any Trappist tripel I have had the pleasure of tasting. BridgeStreet Wit is as outstanding. You can t go wrong with any of Brotherwell s brews. Brotherwell is a must when you are anywhere near Waco. I ll be making frequent visits from FTW.
