I was super disappointed. They use bread instead of buns for their sandwiches. So, I ordered a pound of brisket. The brisket was nice and moist but it was rather tasteless. They were out of coleslaw the lady told me I needed to get there earlier I was there about 12:30 pm. Then the guy told me they ran out of cabbage and their cabbage doesnt deliver till tomorrow. HEB sells cabbage. Spell super disappointed with that. I got double potato salad but then that tasted like the kind you get at Walmart but way more expensive. The employees were nice. The food not to my liking.

I normally get the large plate, which you can get with brisket or sausage or a mix with two sides. My choices are usually potato salad and beans. You can get an order which is just the meat or large order meal which includes the two sides. I have used the family meal when getting food for multiple people, well worth the price. Parking: The parking space is large. Currently, the school next door is building a gym and taking up some of the parking space.

Theres something about the bland taste of the BBQ here...not for sure what has changed. Ordered chopped beef and bologna. First time that I had to pay for the sliced bread just to start out, which I may understand paying for the sliced bread after a couple of slices are given at no charge. Overall, the atmosphere was great!

I was looking for a good barbecue place to eat, while I was driving through town, so I checked some reviews and decided to eat here. The reviews were absolutely correct. This place is top notch! Every single employee was super friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. The brisket just fell apart, and the potato salad and beans were wonderful.

My friend took me to this place for lunch. The food is great. They are open til they sell out. Dont be late. Parking: On location and adequate. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome. Lots of things on the wall to look at. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access with wide isles. There are plenty of pull-up tables.

Not your typical BBQ restaurant, certainly the only Italian inspired Texas BBQ I know of...and its definitely worth the trip. Get the Brisket, Ribs and smoked Turkey and dont forget the Hot Gravy! You will never be disappointed in this place. It says something to be opened nearly 80 years. They know what theyre doing!

Delicious brisket! This place is very popular and sells out of food if you wait too late to go for lunch. On busy days they are full with people standing in line. Worth a trip for sure because the food is wonderful! The wait staff once you are seated are very nice and attentive.

I was raised on Tonys BBQ. But lately the quality of the food has greatly diminished. The gravy is just NOT the same. The meat is bland with NO taste whatsoever. And the cakes are old and stale. Sadly Tonys is NOT what it used to be. But the staff is wonderful. Just wish that I could say the same about the food.

The food is quite good but nothing mind-blowing. In fairness, I got the Belt Buster, which does not have that much meat. I would recommend getting a sandwich instead. Regardless, the service is excellent; I wish I could tip after rather than when paying at the counter. You can ask for more bread or more water and theyll give it to you at your table. I intend to visit again to better evaluate the barbeque.

I brought some out-of-town visitors for a true TX BBQ experience and they got it! The menu was actually refreshingly short (a positive for me) and we got in, we ordered what we wanted, paid a very reasonable price for it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The creamed corn and the beans were both delicious with great flavor. The brisket was tender and melted in our mouths. The sausage had just the right crunch and amazing flavor. Sauce on the tables. It was a great experience and wonderful service - dont miss it! And yes, get there early as they may run out of certain items - the turkey in our case. Parking: Parking in back - ample parking when I was there, I was impressed! Very easy.

Good meal at a very good price. I have always got the chopped brisket sandwich, filling and his the spot. Only real complaint I can think of is that its so popular that its crowded at lunch time so I either have to go early or go late and run the risk of them having sold out! Definitely worth it.

When we called them around 11 that day for our work lunch we thought there was no way they would be able to do it but they did! Provided us great service and delicious Texas BBQ. Delicious smoked brisket served as I asked & to go but they do have dining in available. Very nice people & reasonable prices. Even considering COVID increased prices everywhere. I wished they also served smoked pulled pork and chicken. They also have beef ribs & turkey, plus the usual side dishes.

THIS PLACE CANNOT PROVIDE A CLEAN BEEF BOARD AND KNIFE PLUS CUTTER FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT EAT PORK. I WENT IN TO GET A BEEF SANDWICH AND THE CUTTING BOARD WAS CLEAN WITH A CLEAN KNIFE. This place needs to be on your radar when near Waco. Its easy to access, just off of I-35. We were traveling north and called in our order. Just picked up brisket and sausage and chowed down in the car. The sauce had a nice richness that was great on the tender, moist brisket and the spicy sausage. We added a few dill pickles and couldnt have been happier with our meal. Apparently they frequently sell out prior to their closing time so get there early.
