Im currently going through a divorce and I have a disabled son the father is refusing to pay the child support and all I keep getting is the run around and Ive paid him $6,000.00 already the child support was supposed to start since November 1st but there always seems to be an excuse and the issue hasnt gotten resolved Its been over a year and still no divorce....this whole situation has caused me nothing but stress and yet when I hired Richard R. Alamia I was led to believe he would help me every step of the way and would speak for me, but during mediation all he did was sit back in his office chair with his arms crossed and allow the mediator to belittle me and he had no one in the office to help him instead my daughter had to get up and try to figure out how to print out the documents so that I could sign them and leave but the kicker is that the mediator told Mr. Alamia to tell me to go drop off the printed documents to the opposing attorney that his office was just around the corner and I was like what? Thats not my job Im going home its late. Its mid month and still no child support I honestly wouldnt recommend him to represent you in a divorce, this is my personal opinion from my experience, its been almost 5 months and still no child support for my disabled son 8/22/24 It will be a year on October 18, 2024 that I went into his office for mediation and almost almost a year later the mediation documents have not been signed by the judge, because the opposing attorney never signed the documents this is what was explained to me he just signed them. I feel like somewhere along the way someone dropped the ball!!!! Now Im still waiting for the judge to sign the mediation documents 9/27/24 Still no hearing for child support the judge has already signed the temporary orders to enforce the child support a month ago and still no hearing and no child support for my disabled son!!!!!

Would not recommend this lawyers just takes your money and doesnt do anything for you. Never filled any documents then on top of that looses your original documents lost my original marriage certificate and birth certificate didn t even take responsibility for anything

I Highly recommend Mr Alamia. He is great lawyer and answers all your questions. My husband had another lawyer to represent him and wanted him to sign the 2 years they were offering him. My husband then hired Mr Alamia and he was able to dismiss his charges.

Poor service been waiting on some paperwork for over a year now. Dont ever call me to let me know how things are goin, I call office and always gives me some run around but never my legal documents. Dont reccomend him to noone... if I were you I would go elsewhere .... prime example of a lying and thieving attorney ...

Would give negative 0 if possible, would never answer calls, would wait forever to speak with him, was told he was working on case later found out never filed papers he said he had. Could continue did not show to 2 court appearances.

If I could give this man zero stars, I would.. Excuse my language but he s a piece of s**t. He is a liar and took advantage of my ignorance. I m a military personnel that went through a divorce and thought he d have my best interest at heart, but it was all a façade. Even while I was at court telling him what I wanted, he continued to push all my concerns to the side AND did not bring them up. He didn t care about me, I was just another paycheck to him. He will not take your personal calls and/or answer your emails. He does not have interpersonal tact or genuinely cares about you. You re better off representing yourself than have this man represent you. He s a disgrace to all lawyers and does not follow the Lawyer Code of Professional Responsibility.
