Beachside Billys in Volente, TX was a complete disappointment. The food was bland and overpriced, and the service was incredibly slow. The atmosphere was lackluster, and the place felt more like a rundown dive bar than a family-friendly restaurant. The only saving grace was the view of the lake, but thats not enough to justify the terrible experience. Im not a fan of business promoting a certain divisive political party and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My friends and I stayed at the bungalows across the street and the staff here were so welcoming and friendly to us!! We felt very well-taken care of. Kara is a great host and was easily found behind the bar when we arrived and ready to help answer our questions. Connor is an excellent host as well and very fun and friendly bartender! We loved it here, the food was great and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We are looking forward to coming back!

Last weekend was our first time at Lake Austin and we decided to eat here for a late night dinner. The outside views are stunning. The service is quick and the barcode you scan to order makes it super convenient. The food is fresh and flavorful. The cheese curds we had tasted like they were hand breaded. They also have some really good sandwiches on the menu. Can t wait to come back here on our next lake trip.

Beautiful place by the water. Came here for lunch with a group. Service was interesting, order/pay thru their website but their atmosphere was fun and chill. I ordered chips with guac and a burger. The guac came in maybe a 4 oz bowl with lots of tortilla chips. Guacamole itself was okay, could use more seasoning. The burger was well made, delicious and definitely recommend. My friends had pizza which were cut into squares.

This is such a unique lakeside establishment. Its one of my favorite destinations in Austin. The food is pretty good but some dishes leave room for improvement. The flavor is there but lacks in presentation and limited ingredients. The atmosphere and service are top notch. This is definitely a whole in the wall neighborhood Vibing place but the patrons are exteremly welcoming, making you feel like you are a regular. Great family and pet friendly place to watch the sunset over the lake or throw a company party. Kid-friendliness: Kids seem to always be welcome and loved by all. Lots of room for them to explore. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and ramps indoors. Patio access is limited

Im a traveling Musician and sometimes I get to perform at some of the coolest places. Beachside Billys and not only family friendly its great family fun. The food is delicious with a decent menu The staff are friendly, even on the busiest of days. The park uses water from Lake Travis so its great natural clean water. Theres slides and pools and a dock where you can pull up right from the lake. With live music on the weekends its a win win all around.

After a super horrible experience at a place before exploring here, this place was AMAZING! The managers are energetic, positive, and love their workplace. The rest of the employees in and out of training were all trying so hard. The teamwork was awesome. The food was doggone good. The location seeing the sunset was what I needed. Great place I definitely recommend as well as wish the best for this business and those running it.

Comfortable atmosphere in April. Several people told us that it gets incredibly more busy in summer months. Staff is friendly and professional. We stopped in for a quick appetizer and tea before going to the zip lines at Travis Lake...we were very pleased with the cheese curds and the triple dip and chips.

We had never been to Beachside Billys before, and came to check it out. We had already eaten and just had a couple of cocktails. Its a bit out of the way and we paid for parking. The cocktails were good and our waitress was nice. While we didnt eat, the food brought to tables near us looked good. Theres a small water park that looked nice, but Im not certain what it cost to use. It was a nice place to relax!

Was told to just sit anywhere. Not long after I sat down a waitress walked by me with a beverage in hand and set up to take photo on the pier next to me. She apologized and I didn t mind much because the place was empty and expected to be assisted right after. I waited 10 minutes before anyone came to take my drink order. Then almost 20 minutes to get some eggs bacon and waffles. Food was warm at best so I know it sat there for a while. When I asked who my waiter was I was told that they do it as a team and then I realized why service was so bad. Would ve given one star, but the food actually tasted good

We had invited friends to go boating out on the lake and decided to eat afterwards. Great view. Not Fantastic. Food. Pricey, but good, not WOW or Great. They have a sand pit and play area for kids. Our server was awesome. Not all the staff had pleasant personalities. Could have been: Over crowded. Tables are to close together. People with RUDE ATTITUDES. They allow pets inside. Our waitress was bit on the ankle. Another dog kept growling. These were not SERVICE DOGS.

The views from this restaurant are beautiful, the attitude of the waitress and whom i pressume is the owner is not. We set a reservation for 30 people, family members whom have traveled from 16hrs+ to hang out and enjoy some music, which weve been told was an enjoyable experience at this restaurant. When we reached the restuarant the kids went down to the volley ball pit to play. And the adults went to look at the water. While we were getting our orders in the waitress informed us they would be taking one of the tables we reserved, due to the kids not being seated at the table and 6 of the 16 adults not sitting down. Being a large party I tried to inform them although they werent sitting immediately once the food got there, there would not be enough seats, they didnt care. Thus resulted in the children sitting to eat and the adults standing waiting for them to finish so we could go. Im very disappointed in how the staff handled this situation. Our party of 30 was present but enjoying the things the restaurant offers such as the volley ball court and the beautiful views. And they deemed it unconventional it would have been nice to know that before we ordered the kids food that if we werent present at the table the whole time, they would take the table, we would have chose a different place.

Had the wings, lots of choices between wet and dry rubs/spicing but the shipping sauce sucks. 3 people in our group of 15 ordered wings with either ranch or blue cheese. All 3 came out without the ordered dipping sauce. When the sauces were finally brought out, they were more like water flavored sauce. Wont be back.

We received a flyer in the mail for this place and decided to give it a shot. Spent the day at the attached water park and walked over to the patio for a late lunch. Service was slow, but the servers were very nice and great about refilling drinks. For lunch, its mostly sandwiches and a few appetizers and salads. The food was great. We had the blackened chicken sandwich and the Beachcomber burger. Beware the jalapeno ranch! It definitely packs a punch. Both sandwiches were excellent. The cheese curds were great, too. Worth a stop if youre in the area!
