Its been several years now, but still makes makes me mad today. Blatantly lied to me about work he was doing on my case ( Accidentally had a knife in my luggage at the airport ) First and only time I had ever been in trouble with the law and paid him $3,500 upfront. I had been stressing out about the outcome for months. When I couldnt get in contact with him I started calling around for information on the case only to find out it had been dropped on its own 3-4 months ago. Finally was able to contact Mr. Cowan and asked him how the case was going, he said I spoke with so-and-so yesterday, nothing yet, but its looking good..... I then called him out on his lie and asked for proof that he had done even the slightest bit of work on my case. He said I sounded irate on the phone and would call the cops if I attempted to visit his office . That scared me (coming from what was supposed to be (my lawyer)), even if I tried to complain to someone else about this he would probably win in the end, I figured itd be for the best to just leave that lier (*lawyer*) alone. Never received any information about the case and even though its been many years, it still makes me angry.

I was extremely pleased with all the legal work Mr. Cowan did for me. Mr. Cowan is very easy to get in touch with and is very good at what he does. He knows the law and the courts very well and is able to explain the law in a way I understood it and could use it. I f I had to describe Mr. Cowan in just a few words, I would say responsible, trustworthy and dependable

If you are in need of an attorney that will get on your case and get behind you and ALL the legal issues, he is your man. He came very highly recommended to us by several other lawyers. In short, Chuck is one of us. He speaks our language. He relates the law to you in a way that you can understand it easily. He is ALWAYS there through the whole case. In the court room he was VERY aggressive. The Judge knew and respected Chuck. I was very happy with the results we obtained.

Promised to get alot taken care of and off records. My daughter got in trouble with another girl, the other girl did not retain a lawyer and got the same outcome. He told us she only got a year probation if she did everything she was supposed to do which was not true. When I called him about it,he acted like he didnt even know who we were. Started out very nice,got our money, and then it went sour.
