Theeeee best Pho in central Texas! Hands down!!! I love how quiet it is. I always order the beef pho with rare top round and brisket. The broth is amazing!!!!! Sooo comforting to my soul! Their tea is very good as well!

Very good food - for those that are gluten sensitive, all their noodles are rice noodles so you can eat them. The Pho was a ton of food, but the rice plates are more manageable to eat. But both were plenty of food, and at a very reasonable price.

They were very short staffed, which they warned you upon arrival. However, the waiter took care of the several tables near me but never made eye contact or asked if I needed anything. When I tried to tell him my drink was horrible, he turned and walked away halfway through my sentence. I really felt that I wasnt as important as the larger parties around me. If I had been given the chance, I wouldve ordered more food, as I ended up leaving hungry. Definitely not going back.

If I could give La Dalat more than 5 stars here it would be a 10! I attended a training in Temple and food locations were not openly discussed except for the standard restaurants you find in nearly all cities. Those places are not for me. Give me homemade and local eateries. I am SOOOOOOO happy I tried La Dalat. I had the Beef Noodle Bowl without the soup. It is hands-down the best beef and noodle bowl I have encountered in my travels. The meat was super thin and yummo. The eggroll that came with it was delicious. I liked it so much I went back twice. If you love Vietnamese cuisine then this is your place in Temple, TX. I hope La Dalat remains in Temple for a long time.

I saw a big fly on my pho.. was told it might have flown in the soup.. the flavors were great but they need to do something about the flies. Also, they need to remove or cover the item on the menu that is no longer available.

The food is pretty good no complaints there! The young lady who works the floor and the register however really grinded my gears. She was no help. She would wander around aimlessly on her phone. My food was sitting on the counter when I arrived for pickup but when I asked for it she didnt even pack it up for me. She stood there not saying a word for like 5 minutes before she got the owner (nice hardworking cook) who had to do her job. She then continued to wander around on her phone. It was an odd experience. They are short staffed as well so expect a wait before receiving your food.

What a cute little place!! My husband and I visited here when we had to come to Temple for an appointment. We are both Asian and have severely been missing small Asian businesses while living in CTX. This really hit the spot and it s in a beautiful location. We both ordered Banh Mi (it was amazing and fresh) but the side soup was our absolute favorite. Parking: Free street spots all around the building, but it would be difficult to park during busy hours.

On our road trip we came across this place. Cozy room which is plenty large. Our server remembered our ten dish complicated order on her first try, impressing the whole family. Food came very quickly and was absolutely scrumptious. I might go so far as so to say that was the best Vietnamese food of my entire life. I highly recommend the vegetarian imperial rolls. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options for those who would want it. Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for kids. I would go there again if it was close to home.

I m part Vietnamese and I grew up eating pho and this place is by far my favorite place to eat at. I highly recommend for authentic Vietnamese food 1000/10 and they check on you constantly the service was exceptional my food is the right temperature and taste I really have no complaints the aesthetic doesn t matter as long as the food is perfect. Ive had too much good pho to go above 3 stars here. Broth, was acceptable. Lacking enough noodles. Shredded iceberg lettuce is not a side for pho...should be cilantro as asked. Tofu was tough...hard to do. Meat was sparse but good quality. 3 slices of jalapeno deseeded...I asked for extra veggies. One water refill in 30 minutes. 9 dollars for two spring rolls?! Insane pricing. Sorry wont be coming back to this whitewashed version of pho.

Lol, Ive never heard of calling a egg roll the Emperial at a vietnamese restaurant. My wife is Vietnamese, my Mother in law cooks for me all the time. Not once has she Saud that. I ordered the Bun vermicelli. Ordinarily its my favorite, but not here. My wife and daughter did not like the Pho. The glass of bath water they gave was warm enough to melt the ice. The decor didnt even whisper Vietnam. One and done for us all.

Food is good. I had the beef pho and my partner had the clay pot with catfish. Prices are reasonable, portions are okay. Taking a star off for poor service and long wait time. The server was unfriendly and didn t seem like he actually like being there. The restaurant feels clean and bathrooms are well maintained. Overall, I think we will still come back if we are in the area.

Classic oriental restaurants, mostly for senior sisters chatting, couples dating, and foreigners trying new things, which makes the atmosphere different. I like that Southeast Asian cuisine uses a lot of herbs to make the meals refreshing and fragrant. The roasted pork buns have delicate fragrant leaves. The aroma, coupled with small lemon slices, makes the fat pork less greasy. Pho is added with lemongrass, bean sprouts, basil, grass like dragon beans, and small oranges. The dried spices with seeds and shells make my nose allergic. These herbs make my heart beat What s funnier is that the raw beef hotpot couldn t light up the fire. The waiter angrily threw my nine-story pagoda stem into the fire as a tinder. Suddenly, smoke was everywhere, as if I was trying to survive in the wild... It s a pity that as a solo diner, I can t order too many dishes. Is there any chance to come again?

We search out Vietnamese restaurants on all Thunder Runs.. This restaurant if currently #2 for egg rolls on the Texas Vietnamese egg roll world tour! Glad we took the time to read Google reviews. This is a nice little restaurant downtown Temple. Everything looks clean and updated, though the floor was a bit sticky. I had the poached chicken salad with cabbage and pickled carrots. I am used to having this with duck, but it was delicious with chicken. The anise gave it extra flavor. My husband had the grilled pork chop rice plate, and the marinade on the meat tasted amazing. Beautiful presentation, and healthy meal choices. We went early in the evening and it was not crowded at all. Plenty of parking along the street.

Although short staffed due to Covid, the food was delicious and the service was good. They have a vermicelli dish I haven t seen in 20 years since a place that closed down in austin years ago .it has beef wrapped around onion and it is to die! The children s chicken and rice was plentiful and beautifully presented and my son loved it. Highly recommend.

Good place, the egg rolls were tasty and the pork ribs had good flavor. Restaurant wasnt terribly busy and we were seated instantly. Service was good, perhaps the decor could be updated a little bit we enjoyed our visit.

This is by far the best Vietnamese food spot in Bell County and surrounding areas. my husband and I frequent this place and I highly recommend the beef pho and their banh mi (5 spice chicken sandwich). This place never disappoints and is consistently great and always clean. If you have not tried it, youre missing out.

The food was ok with the exception of the egg rolls. My server who was an older gentleman was pleasant. The individual at the cash register at the end of the evening was neither friendly or welcoming. When I was entering the restaurant initially to check out the inside prior to my companion arriving, the same individual who was at the cash register at the end of the night was ahead of me. We were both entering the restaurant at the same time. He was outside standing around for a few minutes when I was sitting my car. He might have been smoking or just getting some fresh air. I do not recall if he was smoking. He did not hold the door as I entered into the restaurant behind him. He also didnt smile and appeared overall unfriendly. This individual was a short gentleman, of Vietnamese decent. This same individual initially came over to my table to take the order. He asked if me and my companion were familiar with the dishes. We responded no. He did not offer to help but instead walked away to give us time to decide. The older gentleman who ended up serving us was more outgoing and friendly. The area of the restaurant where the guests sit to dine was presentable. The front of the restaurant and cashier area was a bit unkept, with cooking utensils on display in an unorganized and untidy manner. I would not revisit or recommend this place. I have eaten at other Vietnamese restaurants, and the experience was positively different. Youre in the businesses of customer service. Smile, say hello and do not behave as though youre doing paying customers a favor. My meals are mostly home made and I occasionally eat out, so when I do, a good experience is memorable.

I ordered vegetable pho and they didnt give me bean sprouts so I asked them to give me that and they told me veritable pho doesnt come with sprouts. Later I found that they charged me for bean sprouts and chilli oil as well. This is the first place that I have ever seen in my life charge for bean sprouts with pho.

I desire so badly to give this place five stars but the attitude of the guy who works behind the counter is so bad that it reduces your rating by three stars. It wouldnt affect your rating so badly if this wasnt an every time occurrence! I do not know if he is the owner or not but he seems to extremely hate his job and people and being bothered in general!

Our server barely spoke to us. Only checked on us once. A different person brought the food and tea and didnt say anything. Food was good. Tea was terrible in my opinion. I would recommend veiatnames food to others just not this place.

I dont care how good the food is/could be. $11.25 for 2 small spring rolls?! That is ridiculous. But on the online menu they are $8.75? I have had spring rolls for $11.25 before and they were HUGE. But this was sad and disappointing.

We shared a plate of fresh crisp fried Fired-Cracker Shrimp with sweet-chili sauce (different sauces were also available on the table) for an appetizer. This was followed by a Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli Noodles Bowl and a Wok-sauteed shrimp, pork, and vegetables over a crisp-fried egg-noodle nest. The vermicelli noodle bowl is served with a house-made fish sauce that you pour over the contents, giving it a slightly sweet and delicious flavor. Both dinner meals had plenty of vegetables and all three dishes required using fingers to eat the shrimp if you wanted to get every piece, which we did! We ended the meal with sweet dark iced Vietnamese coffee. So good, well come again and again!

We regularly eat here, and the food is consistently excellent. Pho Bo, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Thit Nuong, Grilled Pork Spare Ribs, and their special Bánh mì are among our favorite dishes. Great customer service.
