Love this store except not on Monday mornings. Seems like everyone was shopping at the 31st street HEB when I was trying to shop and the employees were trying to restock coolers and also hand pick all the curbside orders. Ive never seen it so busy, but yet all the employees still had friendly smiles even though it was chaos in there. Great atmosphere as well.

Went to pick up some chicken and low and behold the Seafood display case stopped me in my tracks,,, for 1 all the seafood was beautifully displayed and begged me to come get some of them and guess what happened ... I got crabs , shrimps and 3 lobster tails... Shame on HEB for having that Seafood display so perfectly stocked with so many yummy goodies A girl couldnt resist it!

Cashier was nice and friendly. 5 gossip girls standing around exit door talking instead of working. Must be a Sunday thing. I asked them why they chose to take a break in the exit while I bagged my own groceries Just blank stares. Find something to do or do t take breaks in the exit doorway

This HeB has the poorest customer service. I m about 31 weeks pregnant and the three times I ve been here this week to get things including jugs of milk or water or laundry detergent. I ve never been asked if I need help to the car compared to the other HeB in Belton. The people avoid eye contact at the register so they probably don t even see that I m huge. (Although you can t miss it) my husband is usually with me so it s never a problem but these times I ve been alone it was just rude. The people who do the shopping for online that carry the carts around are very rude too. They don t make eye contact, they just cut you off like you aren t there. At the end of my shopping trip today, I loaded all my things slowly and then took my cart to put away where a guy who was about to take all the carts saw me walking over and just stepped to the side so I can put the cart in myself and the cart thing was FULL so my wheel was getting caught on the iron that keeps all the carts in and he just watched me struggle to get it in line with the other carts so it would Atleast be stuck to them and not come back out and roll into the parking lot, if that makes sense: anyways. I ve had too many rude encounters here and everyone seems pretty miserable . Hopefully it s not management making working conditions hard. Anyways. Sucky location from a super pregnant point of view.

I will no longer be shopping at heb until they change their insane policy of locking the cart wheels so you cant leave the store with the groceries you just purchased treating their customers like criminals. Im my case im handicapped and had to park far down in the lot because there were no spaces up top. I had to carry all my stuff all the way down to my car because the stupid wheel lock on the cart. No one came to help me and it was very warm so it was a struggle for me and had to take 15 mins to try and catch my breath from the ordeal. Yor customers dont deserve to be treated as criminals.

This grocery store is very congested to get into because of the high traffic in Market Place. Once you are inside you take your time. There are always a lot of people shopping. This store has more of a variety of product to select from and much better than the one on West Adams. A variety of meats is what I like and their staff is there to help. All the staff at this store are friendly and helpful. If youre on the go and needing good fresh fish, . You will find some of the best Sushi in the area right here at HEB. Yummy, yummy. . 10 Mar, 22, Our HEB is and always will be crowded. But today everyone was very courteous to one another . Shelves were stocked and a variety of foods were available. Staff was very friendly too. The only thing I didnt like were the higher prices due to the inflation . Update: August 3rd, 2022: This store is always crowded. Does not make a difference when you go. But its always clean and well stocked. Of course prices are higher than before but you can find all you need. Staff everywhere stocking continuously to better serve you. Very friendly staff but watch out for some rude customers shopping. Still a 5 grocery store. Update: 19 June, 2023. All is well at this store. No matter what time of day it is, always busy. Watch your sales plus in store sales. Great buys are there. Update: 29 August, 2023. This is my local standby. Smaller than the Plus stores but if you dont want to leave Temple, then this is the place to go. Staff always very respectful and helpful. If in Temple, I highly recommend this grocery store. Still a 5 rating. Update: 31 October, 2023. Still is a great supermarket. But beware -- very congested area; in mar ket place and also inside the store. There will be people that are there shopping that are very rude. Why???? Just take your time and enjoy spending your.money. . s up and a great rating. Update: 1 Jan, 2024. First day of the New Year. Wow--- this place is packed and well stocked. Friendly staff but different attitudes from the people that patronize this mmmm market. Take your time. Update: 16 April, 2024. When the grocery store cannot properly staff, and I m not only forced to wait in line to pay for groceries (many of which are frozen items) for 30 minutes, but have to listen for 10 minutes to an employee arguing with their manager that they were supposed to be off 30 minutes ago and never received their lunch break, I have ZERO interest in shopping there. I feel very bad for the employees that management and ownership cannot get their act together. Pathetic excuse for a grocery, or company

Very very disappointed with heb today. I went around 2:45 I was in a hurry just getting a few things very quickly I had to pick up my daughter from school. I went in with my baby in his carseat grabbed a cart got my groceries and went to go pay. It was about $34 worth of groceries and I paid with wic and cash. My baby was crying so I already had people looking at me, I got my receipt and was headed out the door In hurry. Well as soon as I am about to head out the doors my cart locks up. My babys head just went back and forth harshly because I was walking fast and that startled him so he started crying even more. At the same time people are going in and out a nice lady was watching me struggle with the cart who her and i thought the wheels were stuck. At the same time I am blocking people from coming in and out and my baby is crying. Then a member from heb (has to be a manager of some sort) comes up to me out of no where and ask me what register did I check out from. Of course I dont even know it wasnt self check out or a 15 or less. Then ask me for my receipt. Mind u I only have like 4 bags. Checks my receipt and tells me oh ok you were probly not enuff time at check out and the sensor didnt pick up the signal when u left. I paid with wic and cash it took more than a minute to pay so I dont get it. Then she presses a button and my cart starts rolling just perfectly fine. GUYSSS I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO HUMILIATED IN MY LIFE!! All this hapend while I was blocking part of the entrance and my baby was crying . I was not looking my best at all I have kids toddler and baby . Had an appointment with my son and therapy with my daughter so I woke up and put on whatever I found first i didnt do my hair I was looking a mess. Im sure that and being in a hurry targeted me as a posible shoplifter. I didnt have a diaper bag not even a purse. I understand that theres alot if shop lifting going on but I had my items bagged also I paid with a clerk. I called corporate and was told it was a new system and that a new policy to check receipts. No one elses carts stopped and no one elses receipts were checked. Then when I spoke to someone higher I was told it must have been a malfunction of the cart that it will happen again with same cart. If it was that why didnt they take my cart so that it was fixed. And I thought it was a new system. So Im being told different storys. I was given a $25.00 egift for the inconvenience. But that humiliation isnt worth $25 they can keep that. I will probably be going to other stores from now on I go to heb at least 2 times a week and have never seen that happen to anybody or anyone get there receipt checked. I am truly disappointed HEB.

This store is huge. It s well laid out and organized. With everything that they have the store is kept very clean with plenty of room in the aisles. The employees are all friendly and helpful.
