I just called to inquire about job opening in the kitchen. The hostess was polite and professional and said she was transferring my call to a manager. The manager answered and I asked if she had any openings she said there are currently no openings and hung up. So rude. Did not give me an opportunity to ask questions or say anything. When your staff has better manners then your manager who ever hired her made a mistake. I live across the street from this location. How unfortunate. Poor service.

A pathetic experience from start to finish. My unfortunate evening began with a nasty girl named Sophia. I was there for a presentation. I was told to wait at the bar or outside those are your options . Nasty. I waited outside. About 20 minutes later the front counter was stuffed with people trying to get into the presentation. I guess they weren t told to wait outside like dogs or at the bar. Dinner was late to the table. Presentation was poor. Service was awful. Start to finish the whole evening was poor I expected more. Don t offer me your number. You know it s a mess. Shame on Sophia. What a nasty hostess / manager. She said she was a manager. I guess that explains everything.

I loved my dining experience and the food. I was very disappointed that Perrys does NOT have a corkage policy. I brought 2 very nice bottles of wine and was prepared to pay corkage on each of the 2 bottles. My waiter didnt even know what corkage was and didnt understand. He left, then came back and se he spoke with his manager and that he didnt think they could open a bottle and charge me corkage. I asked him if I was willing to pay $100 per bottle to cork, would they cork. again said he didnt think so . I have been to many exceptional restaurants across the US and countless other countries. Not ever have I encountered a restaurant that refused to cork... The food and service were great, but I would only return if I didnt have my own wine...

Sat down at the bar. Took about 15 minutes to get a drink. Only one bartender serving the entire restaurant and two bar backs. Took even longer to order food, I waited about 30 minutes to get the bartender s attention to get a food menu. I thought no big deal, they re busy. Finally got a menu and waited for another 15 minutes before I had to shout at the bartender and let him know I was ready to order. Not what I expect at a high end restaurant. I put it past me and was ready for a good steak. I ordered the Prime NY Strip with loaded mash. When the steak arrived it was sizzling and hot. I was asked to cut into it to see temperature. I ordered it medium and it was medium at the time of arrival. I took a bite of the steak and it was covered in a sauce that was not particularly good. That wasn t a huge issue but the main point was that the meat was tough. I have been to many steak houses and cook steak at home regularly and this meat quality was poor. This was choice, not even select. On top of that the meat continued to cook on the skillet it was served on. It quickly became medium well. Overall, I spent over $90 for a choice quality steak and side. Absolutely not worth coming if you like steak and wanted a good steakhouse.

What an experience the food was on point. The service by our waiter Stephen was amazing he was very knowledgeable of the menu and explained things to us as we had not been here before. The food was perfect had a NY strip that was done to perfection and a pork chop meal that was out of this world and so much food. I even loved the roasted veggies and the whipped potatoes we got on the side. We can not wait to go back and try the Wagu and get dessert next time.

1. The cheese on the Three Cheese Mac n Cheese couldn t be tasted because of the over abundance of nutmeg in the sauce. They also use large penne pasta vs. macaroni. Smaller macaroni pasta is easier to eat and holds the sauce inside of the noodle better. 2. We ordered chargrilled oysters and you couldn t taste the oysters. The menu doesn t state that there are loads of (we guessed) onions that were maybe pickled. The strong vinegar taste ruined the dish. 3. My husband ate 2 of the steak fries. No one else liked them. They tasted like they were fried in very old cooking oil. The steaks and dessert were excellent. I wish that Perry s did a better job with their side dishes.

I was born and raised in Spring/The Woodlands for 23 years now. yesterday was the first time I have been to Perrys Steakhouse and it is AMAZING! This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Amazing atmosphere, no wait time, and excellent service. The staff is exceptionally well trained and recommended the perfect dish off the menu. I had a New York Strip which gave me 4 oz servings of 3 different steaks. I loved the A5 Wagyu. Also ordered Mac and cheese with lobster. This food melts in your mouth and leaves you the exact right amount of full. The desert was even better! I had the Bannana Foster I believe and it is just as delicious. I will be coming here much more often and I recommend this place to anyone and everyone that is considering. Amazing!

Ive eaten at other Perrys. Trust me this was a totally different experience. It was McDonalds without the bun. The service..oh, what service? There wasnt any. Had to ask for water and drinks. The desert was trash at best. The booth seating...wait, I thought we were fine dining... A booth with kids from the table behind us hanging over into our space. At the end of the time, we were charged $101 extra. We only found out when we got the alert from the credit card. We promptly called Perrys. It was yes, we knew before you left, but they guessed we would figure it out when you got your card statement. Never AGAIN! NOT AT THE PERRYS IN THE WOODLANDS. Never think about ordering through an application like Uber eats. They will always cancel you at the last minute and you will be left without dinner and hungry. Ive done it several times and today was no exception. They take your order, They charge, they accept it and a few minutes before closing they cancel it. And they give you your money back. But .., you will be left wanting dinner. Terrible home service.

Horrible and a huge waste of money. I ve been wanting to go here for years due to the recommendations of others. We were seated at a table for two, promptly with reservations, that was less than a foot and half from the table next to us and under a AC vent blasting on us and our food. There was such little room between us and those next two us that their waiter had to shove his butt in my husband s face to serve them, and although I couldn t have a conversation with my husband (three feet away at the other end of the table) due to the excessive noise, I got to here all about the teens mom stealing her vape and how she wants it back. Due to the AC blasting on us the warm bread that was served with our drinks about 20 min. after we were seated quickly was cold. Our salads and stuffed mushrooms were great, both of our entrees were extremely salty and unpleasant. My Perry s Filet, came wrapped in burnt bacon and was coated in it s entirety with a thick layer of charred seasoning (extremely salty) that couldn t be removed quick enough to not destroy the flavor of the meat. Essentially, we paid over two hundred dollars, for two people to have a salad and stuffed mushrooms, while freezing, having butts thrown in our faces, and listening to teens. Side note.. they asked if we wanted bottled or sparkling water, not knowing the difference we said bottled, but the bottled water was in a wine bottle that cost 8$ and the sparkling water was in a flask like bottle and is free. Overall, extremely disappointing, and 10/10 don t recommend.

Perrys charges a 3% service fee and adds 18% gratuity to the bill. I disagree with a service fee. Its just another way to extract money from the patrons. Im LIVID that the 3% fee (of $21.78 in my case) then had the gratuity applied to that! That is unacceptable to charge an additional $3.92. Our bill was almost $1000. Do you really need the additional $25? DO BETTER, PERRYS

Perrys did not disappoint!! Dinner reservations were made without any issues. Dinner was spectacular!! Aged Ribeye was beyond anything I had tasted before....full of flavor and juicy. Porkchop was huge and absolutely delicious! We split it and still brought some home. The lamb was so incredibly delicious. Our waiter Hudson was fantastic!! He took amazing care of our party. We had a company dinner at Perrys in The Woodlands last Friday and it was absolutely stellar! We made reservations with Emily for 10 people and it was incredibly simple. Upon our arrival the welcoming staff was kind, professional, and seated us very quickly. (Its always a nuisance when you make reservations and then have to wait on your table - but that was not the case at Perrys!) Our server; Brittany, was phenomenal. She was thorough, patient, well versed on the menu, and boxed all of our food for us at the end of the night. I ordered a glass of wine when I sat down and asked for it to be served with my meal. Brittany didnt forget and timed my drink perfectly with my steak dinner. When one server set down my plate, another was right behind her with my glass of wine. Its just nice to not have to worry if everything is perfect when you are out for a special dinner. I highly recommend Perrys for a date night or a corporate event. You will not be disappointed!

Came her for dinner. Have been here before, always packed and great atmosphere. Food is good, we sometimes take out the pork chops for lunch. This time the food did not hit the spot and service was mediocre for a restaurant of this level. This might be just the waiter we had. Just slow with asking for new round of drinks, bit sloppy, not too interested. We all thought the food was just too salty, it was awkward. Next time we will ask to be scarce with the salt. I tried to Lobster Thermidor, it was just not well executed. Last time I had it at The Oceanaire Seafood Room at The Galleria, perfect. At Perrys it was very salty, dry and the lobster was not fresh. I guess I should have stayed with meat. I do like their Menu, they have original options, plenty of choice. The Atmosphere is great, the lighting is pleasant and the crowd is good. I dont like a steak house with pumping loud music or with no light like you are in some cave (Like Mastros Market Street, great food but terrible atmosphere). We will come back for another chance, but a review should be truthful. I guess we caught them at a bad moment. It is a nice place and great value to The Woodlands.

It was my first time going to a steakhouse. My experience here was phenomenal. The restaurant definitely had the ambiance. I enjoyed seeing everyone having a great time. I felt like I was in a movie. My friend had 3 free porkchop dinner coupons. We got a porkchop, salad, and dessert. We didnt get the dessert, so we substituted it for a side or soup. My 13 year old son got the turtle gumbo. When he realized he was actually eating turtles, he cried. The salads were like big dinner salads and the bomb! Once they brought the porkchops out my mouth hit the floor. I have never seen anything so big. It was big and tender. The waiter had to cut the porkchop up. Dinner was AWESOME, DELICIOUS, and FRESH!!! The waitress was AWESOME!!! Oh, the restaurant has bottled wine along the walls. I felt like I was in a modernized wine cellar. I will be back to treat myself. I did order the chicken topped with crab meat...DELICIOUS!!! We all enjoyed ourselves. This was the first time my kids were at a fancy restaurant and they knew how to act. I was impressed!!!

I have eaten here many times and it remains my go to for a nice local dinner here in The Woodlands, but I would drive 30 minutes to come here if it was further away. We dine here every time with Michael, who is an excellent server. He goes out of his way to ensure the experience is excellent every time, regardless of the occasion, is very knowledgeable on specials and wine, and knows how to cater to a busy table, which is a lost art. No interruptions mid conversation, or awkward do you need anything else while in the middle of a conversation on an anniversary, yet the water and wine stays poured and the table stays clean. We cannot recommend anymore more than Michael Bailey whenever you come here. Then there is the food, which is nothing short of excellent. Lately they have been adding a bit too much pepper to the steaks, but they are still excellent cuts with delicious flavor, and I have never had an issue with temperature whenever I am served. I am partial to the ribeye and the filet here at Perrys. Their wedge salad is excellent and more than large enough to split. Overall, we love Perrys and always look forward to going back!

I gave this 3 stars because disappointed that I left instructions that this was my wife 50th birthday and we just moved here which the ball was dropped. Made reservations explaining this and wanted to the $59 special person which everyone around us received the deal but us. 7 tables around us received but us. Before we were seated explained the host this is 50 birthday need it to be special. Didn t receive the meal deal nor the happy 50th on her dessert. Ended up spending almost 3X more. The server was fine but I wish it would have been a lot better, I asked nothing out of the ordinary . Why leave reservations with description if they weren t going to honor. I would love to go back and recommend higher but that is up to the restaurant

No complaints at all. I usually say nice restaurants are over-rated. My friends joke about how often I say the words over-rated. In this case, Perrys is under-rated. I tried some of almost everything, and it was all amazing, even the dessert. Escargot, Calamari, Steak Chateaubriand, Corn Brulee, Chocolate Stack. All worth it. Great job Perrys!

First time for my wife and I dining there. It was a true letdown. My silverware had dried up food on it. They forgot to bring out my wifes salad. The final deal-breaker, my filet mignon tasted like it was cooked in pure salt. Even had my wife try a bite, She said Ohh Noo... Also its all open seating, no booths. So youre sitting within 2 feet of strangers.
