Okay to start, Ive been going to this kroger since I was born, and there have never been any issues with it. Today I ran in with my fathers cash app card, since he gives it to my mother who is elderly and in consistent pain. I was running an errand for her, and I used the self check out at 11:03am on 8/10/2024, on checkout 501(the time was told to the customer service and they were very helpful), I dont remember if I grabbed the card or not. I called and asked if anyone picked it up and the customer service person was very polite and nice, but nobody turned anything in. Then when i realized I probably never took it out (while retracing my steps) I called again. I was forwarded many times and someone said they would check with the self checkout, and I was forwarded to Theresa to have her check the cameras. She didnt even speak to me for a minute and sent me back to the customer service extension. Then someone interrupted who I was speaking with. Very rudely said we dont have it. I said okay.., she said okay and she hung up on me. Management has no patience for the customers or genuine concerns for employees or people.

CSM Jessica does generate at Dictatorship, using foul language, and refusing to do any part of the job she was hired to do. Ultimately, this shows that the Manager, Theresa, who was aware of all of this, did nothing. I will do my part and reach Corporate to have this looked into. With choices all around, terrible Management will have this place destroyed in no time

It s against fire code to block or lock an exit when cutovers are in the building. Putting up a closed at 8pm sign doesn t circumvent the law. In an emergency people could seriously be hurt.

I was calling around to check who carried this special dry cat food and Kroger was my last place to call. First I heard an automated voice and then I got transferred to a woman who answered and said she would transfer me to the correct department. Then I heard the music they have while waiting on the phone. Then it would change to a dial tone back and forth from music to dial tone and I m not sure if that means that I kept getting transferred everywhere with no one wanting to answer the phone or it is just their phone system. Then it finally kept ringing the dial tone and I nobody ever answered and it just hung up on me. I was on the phone for about 8 minutes in the morning. The customer service at Kroger has diminished and I did enjoy shopping here once but not anymore.

Just left Kroger in texas city, Texas. After doing all my shopping I went to check out. There were no lanes open, only self check out. So I scan all my items except my vegetables. I will admit I am not good with looking those items up. So I ask for help from the two employees standing there watching us. The first one kinda laughed and said the other employee would help. Then she walked off. she was an older lady with colored braids so I said ok, and this younger gentleman came over. He helped me with one pack of grapes and left. I hade a big pile of vegetables with no help. So I just paid for the items I had checked out and bagged my self. I left all the vegetables there. I turned to the young man and told him. I asked for your help and got none so you can put all these items up. I will no longer be coming to this store. I will shop at Heb across the street where I can get good service and help when I need it

Ive been shopping here with my wife for years. Today we went in, and my wife and I separated to save time. A few minutes later, my wife comes back to me and complains that an employee has been following her the whole time. From that moment on, and throughout the rest of our shopping experience, the employee continued to follow us as if they were expecting us to steal something. For 30 minutes they followed us, and I intentionally made awkward eye contact and then the person would look away. At one point, I threw my hands up in the air as if complaining, What are you doing? Why do you keep following us?! Then upon exiting, I noticed the person monitoring us all the way until we left the store. Weve been coming here for years. But thats the last time were ever coming to this Kroger. Additionally, every single time you buy an item with a dinger on it, regardless of if youve paid for it, the buzzer goes off anyways. This is easily avoidable, yet somehow the problem has persisted for years. Terrible grocery store experiences all around.

Ordered groceries for delivery and the groceries never arrived. Called Texas City Kroger and extremely rude person said that groceries are delivered by instacart and Kroger has nothing to do with delivery orders. I called instacart and they have no record of the order and said I need to talk to Kroger because order was made on the Kroger website and Kroger charged my card. I called Kroger again and the employee was yelling at me that it s not their problem. The national Kroger number is closed, so at this point Kroger has stolen my money by charging my card. Rudest employees I have ever dealt with. Even the manager was rude and unhelpful.

I normally go through the self-checkout and see about 3 or 4 attendants there regularly who are always upbeat and friendly (unfortunately Ive never paid attention to their names). I went through an actual checkout the other day though, because I had a full cart, Tammy checked me out and Faith bagged my items. They were amazing, with contagious kindness and positivity. Love this Kroger.

Needs a revamp, but the main reason for score is that the toilets were bad. Whole thing looked gross. Toilet needed a deep clean, floor needs replacing or a deep clean, walls, light switches. Most things are broken or rusty toilet paper dispenser was broken, soap dispenser was broken, door didn t look like it closed properly. Just in general disrepair.

Was checking out at self checkout Saturday afternoon (June 3rd) and was paying when an employee came up to my basket and without saying a word started scanning items in my basket that I had already scanned. When I asked her what she was doing she acted dumfounded saying Oh Im sorry; i didnt know you already scanned these. If your going to charge a customer up for stealing, next time make sure your paying attention and not guessing. I dont need to steal, I make more than your yearly wages in a month.

I just love shopping at Kroger I even worked in the pharmacy from 2005-2020 not at this Kroger another one. The only thing that s missing is gas station. Because every time you make a purchase you get a survey and it s no use doing the survey because it gives you points for when you put gas but there s no place to use the points. There s a shell on the corner next to McDonald s where Kroger is in back it was recently closed and they re tearing it down I keep hoping that they put Kroger gas station there it would be a good place and the customers would Love it.

I think it s ridiculous when you come to the store get over $200 worth of stuff and your cart is full and they have no one to check you out. I held up the self checkout line with my whole basket of items trying to check myself out. Self checkout should be for people with a few items not for people like me with a whole basket full of stuff. It was at 8:15pm. This happening often here and I think I m going to start shopping at H E B because of this issue. They decided to open up a checkout after the line got long from people like me with lots of items.

The pharmacy absolutely sucks they can never confirm if a prescription is there when they are supposed to so dont bother signing up for messages or alerts and on multiple occasions I have had to have medication refills sent over multiple times before they actually fill them. Always a computer issue. Definitely needs some work at this location in more areas than one.

I love that they have a reduced section of every section! Definitely makes it worth it just to find some half priced steaks or a $0.99 gallon of milk. However, their online coupons never work for me! They advertise these great deals if you clip the coupon through the app, and Ive tried it 3 different times and can never get it to work. 5 stars for their discounted items. 1 star for their special app sale prices.

I am 65 years old went to my friendly Kroger to shop....had a basket full of stuff some heavy...one checker and 6 basket deep...i had frozen stuff so I went to check out myself....over $165.00 and 10 minutes later I rang up and transferred groceries into another cart...then the girl came over to ring up 4 heavy items in the cart...i transferred those over too...paid and left...went to car to unload ...a kroger employee saw me struggling with groceries and he didnt even help ...watched me while he was looking for carts . Kroger on Palmer is very clean and well stocked. Sometimes I find expired food still on the shelves. Also, since COVID, they ve changed the pick up policy for pre-order fried chicken. It now starts at 11:am, which is too late to order for a church luncheon. I will be ordering elsewhere. Otherwise, I like shopping there.

Just left this location and only went in to get cash back on the self check out. Needless to say I was in the store for 36 minutes Both managers, one early 30 white man with glasses and the other mid 30s Hispanic woman are both just not equipped to be managers. They both diminish the brand beyond belief! Delegation and customer service literally don t ring a bell in their minds. And the cashier by the name of Veronica who is a heavyset mid 30s lady, is an extreme hothead and a liability to the company! I am very mild mannered, but for whatever reason she felt the need to literally yell and be upset with me for whatever reason This store needs an extreme overhaul. I genuinely believe in the power of the Internet so I wholeheartedly hope this review falls in the lap of someone who actually cares and actually does something.

All of the employees are so nice every time I go here but what happened today was above and beyond good customer service!! I used the self check out to purchase my items and almost an hour and a 1/2 later realised that I had left bags at the store . I called them and told them what happened they said to bring my receipt in and they would take care of me. I went in they told me to gather the items that I had left. I went back to pay for them and they said I was good to go!! They gave me the benefit of the doubt and really helped out! I was panicking because those items were some of what I needed to cook dinner for my Bible study group tonight. They really saved the day for me!

Deli area smelled like sewage and all the slicers were filthy, each one had offal not cleaned out between use. The tempature in the seafood case was questionable enough that I couldnt trust. The fruit was picked thru, and the offering was slim. Kroger is my favorite store, but the management at this facility has slipped.

I love their sales big bargain and save money. Theyre very nice and helpful. If you have Kroger card you can save big time. Get a Krogers card at help desk. You can smell their fried chicken by the bathrooms and it can make you hungry. Service with smiles. Some employees been there many years and know where you can find what youre looking for. The review is for the pharmacy. Horrible experience. Dropped off 4 prescriptions at 5pm. Asked for it to be ready next day. They said 4pm. Went to pick it up at 5pm, giving them an extra hour. It was still not ready. When it finally was ready, one medication they were asking almost $1,000 for! Its always been an affordable medication, about $30 for 90 day supply. Other pharmacies had it as low as $4. I dont understand how this place can function with the waiting and the prices. They even put the wrong name on the prescription bottles. Needless to say it was the first and last time I will be using this pharmacy.

The girl that helped me at the customer service booth was very rude. I believe her name was arkia. She has no people skills at all. And the lady at wearing the red vest had a name tag but you couldnt see her name. I am very very disappointed in this Kroger. I ve been a dedicated shopper at the Kroger in Texas city for over 20 years in recent months we have got some pretty poor quality produce just recently we bought some cherry tomatoes and got home and noticed they had a blackish green mold on them prior week bought some potatoes, cucumbers and baby carrots half of the potatoes were almost bad cucumbers went soft and bad within a couple of days so did the carrots. Took the tomatoes back the next day via customer service explained to the clerk what the issue was and was like oh we got a bad batch! So I went back to the produce to get a new pack and to my disbelief every single pack was bad and still on the shelf a day later. So I had to buy three smaller to make up for the amount I needed that cost more per package. Wasn t even offered a discount for having to buy smaller packages at a higher price. Please fix the issues you have in your produce department of we will have to take our business across the street to HEB.
