This hotel has the slowest customer service, they also cant take reservations properly. We made reservations and when we showed up they told us we where two days early. When we set them up we asked three times to be sure the dates where right and still they messed it up. Fortunately they got us rooms anyways. This hotel is also very dirty, all the common areas are dirty and need to be cleaned more often. My room had hair on multiple things in the bathroom, the maintained person worked on the ceiling vent before I got there and left dirty tools and handprints on my towels, drywall debris all over the counter, and dust from the vent cover all over the floor and floor mat. There are crickets getting into the rooms on the third floor. I also found trash in the room that should have been taken out. The only good thing about this hotel is it is located in a good place right next to a main freeway.

I had a 30day contract stay here and my room had an odor issue. I had brought it to the front desk and The staff was super helpful and even changed my room. The person I want to Highlight is Ms. Sharon! She was awesome and very helpful.

Hard to get in and out of sometimes. Im a lifetime Ambassador . I stay at Alot of hotels. This is definitely in the lowest 10%.... The internet was having problems connecting and the front desk told me. Well youll just have to figure it out. No support line or any help. Un-associated with marriot! This is the last and only time Ill stay here again! Highly advise there is way better for less.

Rooms are humed and have a funky smell, and I said rooms cause we had to switch. In the first one the bathroom light was not working . Also had some stains around the bed . I booked because of the hot tub , well not working or in construction, not sure, but it was behind a curtain and the inside pool was good to do some cryotherapy, I couldnt get in. Service is pretty ok they are nice and friendly. Location is good theres plenty of restaurants around it and the lake is just 15 minutes away.

Room was great, staff was very friendly. 2 little issues. I had to leave at 4:30 in the morning and the man that was working was watching TV. I asked if there was coffee and he said at 6 and there was a Starbucks nearby. Other issue is parking. Need more spaces. The rest of the staff was awesome and the room was great.

We had a very good experience at this location. Checked in last minute via a third party booking app and decided that night to extend our stay. Xavier held our room for us and Ms. Alice was able to find a rate thru Fairfield front desk that matched the booking app for our 2nd night even though the hotel was fully booked online. We didnt have to change rooms or anything, so we were VERY pleased with their helpfulness and everyone was very willing to do anything they could to assist us. The rooms were clean and cool and fully stocked with everything we could need, plus complimentary breakfast. Parking was plentiful and it was right across the highway from many food drive-thrus and a Wal-Mart, Home Depot and many more shopping experiences. Rooms were spacious, clean and cool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during our stay. Hard to figure out which entrance it is with so many entrances to different places on such a busy service road that would be easy to have a wreck during busy rush hours and people are quick to run you over or not let you over in time for the turn into the hotel entrance by the time you figure out which one it is. Recommend you take the lights or come from a better direction. Otherwise, the rooms are affordable and clean. I love how dark the rooms get that its easy to sleep in or spend time together.

I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites for a business trip and was very impressed with my experience. One of the standout features of the Fairfield Inn and Suites was the breakfast buffet, which was included with my stay. The staff here are wonderful, but the rooms are not clean . I had toe nails of someone else in the sheets the sheets were stained yellow and had some brown spots (which I m sure are dried blood..) I had flies in my room and bugs coming out from between the floor and the walls of the bathroom.. the caulking was pink in the shower.. even the rooms smelled humid and the ac won t work properly. Just.. don t stay here until they can update the whole building.. Very disappointed with Marriott

I booked a king size room i got a 2 queen bed .my room was so hot and room temp was 79.1 after complaining 2 times we got moved 4 hours later much better room but why it took so long . We arrived to check in at 8:05 PM and the front desk worker, DJ, was unable to check us in and he needed to find the manager. He left the front desk for about 15 minutes, returned unable to find the manager and left. We stayed in the lobby and I called the toll-free customer service. All the representative was able to do was give me the number of the local hotel. Which did no good because the phone was ringing off the hook and nobody was there to answer it. The customer service representative was unable or unwilling to forward my call to anybody else. Fortunately a worker who was scheduled to start working at midnight showed up at 8:55 PM and initially told us there were no rooms available. Our reservations were made two months prior, which he could see on his computer screen. He did manage to find a room and the only saving grace is that the room was perfect. The customer service at this branch is despicable!

This hotel really needs to be updated both architecturally and technology-wise! It is also incredibly difficult to locate off of I-35 especially when there is virtually no signage! The layout of the driveway and parking lot makes parking at this location extremely atrocious!

OTHER THAN THE SUPERIOR STAFF, this was the definition of average. The staff bumped it up, the lack of parking due to the semis, trucks, truck and trailer combos taking up half or more of the parking knocked it back down. There are better Marriott properties. There may be better Marriott employees, but I dont travel a lot. 5 stars to the staff here. Pay attention Marriott, and read above. We like to be kind, they were even better and understanding. 2 stars for the room at that price. 1 star or less on the parking. Work a deal with the neighbors at Wendys. Again, kudos to the staff here. I imagine they take a ton of flak. For what we paid for that room, they deserve raises. We had to parallel park on the back wall due to a recommendation from an employee. Our car was neither damaged nor WORSE, towed. Said he had to do it all the time. Thank you sir.

Not a great experience. Arrived and first room had no AC...moved to another room. This room was rough. I would guess that there was a disturbance in this room. The phone is missing any cover( info address extensions etc) The desk lamp is severely damaged like it was used as a weapon or tossed off the table. Room was very damp when we got in it but the AC worked so it was a win. Was not going to go back to Mgmt with multiple complaints....we needed a place to stay. Marriott should really come visit this property. I enjoy staying at Marriott properties but this is bad! One star at best. Like I said this is very disappointing for a Marriott property.

We came in late on a Thursday night because our son was having surgery at the children s hospital across the highway. After getting our keys we rounded the corner down the hall and got slapped in the face with the smell of pot. Not the stuff your old hippy uncle smokes either but we ignored it. When we opened the door to our room there was the unmistakeable smell of death. I have no idea where it was coming from but I am familiar with the smell. After that we learned that our room was right up against the maintenance room and, for some reason, there was an air compressor that was plugged in and up against the wall that the headboard of the bed was on so about every 15-20 minutes it would kick on to refill itself with air ALL.NIGHT.LONG. After ALL of this I wasn t going to leave a negative review. I just wasn t going to come back but then I saw the baby cockroach in the bathroom. I expected MUCH more for $135 per night. Hands down worst Marriot hotel experience I ve ever had.

I ve been staying here for several weeks as I commute from another city for work. The entire staff is amazing! Paul is one of the friendliest men you will come across. If you re active late enough to meet the night crew you ll find the run the same 24/7. As I write this I am forgetting the older gentleman s name who work the night shift. He never seems to take a day off but when I comeback from work he makes me feel like I never left home. The hotel replicates the staffs vibe. Good, fair, and warm!

The team at the Temple Fairfield Inn is INCREDIBLE. I unexpectedly stayed here when I visited my grandfather in the hospital to say my last goodbyes. When they heard what my family was going through, they were not only able to arrange a room for us during a busy time, but they upgraded us as well. My family and I are so grateful for Ahmed and the rest of the teams hospitality, empathy, and care. The staff at this hotel were very kind, friendly, helpful and had excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the facilities are very run down. There were holes in the carpet, cracks in the bathroom floor, stained bed linens and the pool facilities are being removed due to lack of function. The breakfast was lacking and had many broken pienses of equipment (No how water as the pot was broken, no oatmeal as the pot was broken, etc.). The hotel facilities gets a 1 star The photos on line are NOT what you will experience.

My Husband and I travel a bit and because of that fact I purchased a black light (& when Covid first hit) and the first thing I do in any room is look at it under the light and Ive been to some nice places but after my own inspection made me want to vomit but Fairfield Inn Marriott in Temple, TX was by far the cleanest room weve stayed in. The Manager is extremely pleasant (not to mention he works many hours) and has tried to accommodate me when I needed to stay another night. The atmosphere is everything I want especially if Im paying to stay and if we ever need to stay in Temple I wont stay anywhere else. 5+ Stars in my book.

Not the normal experience we usually get from a Marriott. May be due to pandemic. Ice machine out order, business office out of order, 3 requests for a wash cloth and towel.....finally got them from nice night manager at desk by going down there ( we were on 3rd floor). Bathroom fan/light so rattily noisy did not use at night. Only way to get coffee is to go to front desk....hard to do when using walker. They dont replace the 2 coffee packs in rooms. Coffee urn in lobby typically out by 9:30am. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet and clean, staff friendly....but would recommend Residence Inn while in Temple if possible......at least until the covid problems are over.

Very nice hotel and clean rooms. Great location you have cvs next door & wendys and to the other side you have Dennys all walking distance. Hospital, HEB, Walmart and a lot of restaurants are close by. Also the staff is super friendly and super helpful. The room has a lot of plugins for your electrical equipment A LOT. Next to the bed you will find lamps with 2 electrical outlets. And if you get a room with a sofa you get way more outlets.

Im a long time Marriott fan (Titanium & MVCI). I made a reservation for my daughter and grandson for one night with a VERY late arrival (1 AM). The diligence, patience, and zeal for excellence demonstrated by the wonderful staff was simply incredible (there were a number of details that had to tended to - and many phone calls from me). I was very impressed with Lexis - she was wonderful! Also, the manager (dont know his name) was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

We reserved a block of rooms for our out of town guests to celebrate a 50th Wedding Anniversary. Somehow, only the rooms that we had reserved, experienced mechanical issues and they canceled the reservations the day prior to our guests arriving and then told us that they rebooked everyone in another hotel thats not even affiliated with Marriott. Of course the other hotel didnt have any of the reservations in their system. On a positive note, we were fortunate enough to find accommodations at Quality Inn and Suites as all the area hotel rooms were booked for the 1st Cav associations annual meeting and Baylors homecoming...at least thats what we were told.

I wish we would have paid $20 -$30 more to stay in a nicer hotel. I was surprise of the outdated condition this hotel was in. Old and it smelled like it. The carpet in our room had a hole in it. Room smelled very musty, and it didn t seem like the air conditioner was working very well. I was surprise this was a Fairfield Inn. They usually are way nicer then this and very dependable for a nice stay. Check out your options before picking this particular one.

When we walked into the hotel, the girl who was at the desk was preparing bagged breakfasts. She asked how she could help us and we told her we were checking in. She got us checked in and we went to our room. As soon as we were there, we noticed a blood-stained chair in the room. We went down to the front desk and told her about it. She basically told us that there wasnt anything that she could do about it...there werent any other rooms available, no other chairs that could be swapped out and that maintenance wasnt there anymore for that day. She said that we could speak to the manager the next day in regards to getting money taken off of our room. The next morning, after walking around the room all night barefoot, I went to get a shower, and as soon as my feet got wet, there was a ton of black dirt that washed off of my feet, which made me wonder just how dirty the carpet in the room was. We did talk to the guy at the front desk that morning, and he had the blood-stained chair replaced with another chair, which proved that the girl at the desk basically lied to us.

The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable enough. But, they didnt have enough towels, the tub was not draining properly, and the toilet was constantly running. I told them about the tub and their reply was that maintenance wasnt available that day. None of issues were ever resolved.

This property does not deserve to have the Marriott name. The exterior of the property was dirty and not maintained. The entry sidewalk could use a good pressure washing. It was also covered in cigarette butts. To add to the uninviting entrance a large garage can was placed next to the front door. It was overflowing with trash. I wanted to turn around and leave. The hotel is older. The room needed some work. The door jam around the closet was lost, the bathtub had rush or a stain, paint was missing from some of the walls, the pillows had pillow protectors but no pillowcases. The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. I would stay away from this property. There are several hotels in the area that are new and have a more inviting appearance.

This hotel is amazing and beautifully put together. The staff made me feel right at home from the General Manager to the most lovely and hardworking Housekeepers, Valerie and Jonie, we need more people in the world like them and I am so happy to be back in Texas! The cleanliness is immaculate and the grounds are well kept. There was a slight issue and I had to move rooms but was accommodated for the inconvenience and I even decided to stay an extra day. So thanks Marriott!

Its got a bed to sleep in. Coffee down stairs every morning had no covers the entire stay... The covers in my room did not fit the cups... Gym not open also. My toilet was broken, wouldnt flush. Just fixed it myself. Only hotel not sold out if you need to go to Killeen every morning...

This place is dated. Pictures on website show nice rooms, however upon check-in we noticed the furniture was older looking and had some tears in it. The remote was dusty so clearly not sanitized. Coffee pot had grime in it. The bathtub looked dingy, and also the lighting in the bathroom is very dim. Not great for putting on makeup so just FYI ladies! Front desk clerks were not that friendly. I asked if they had complementary water, as i usually book my stays at Hilton. I was told I could grab a water THIS TIME, but will have to be charged next time. I declined the offer. Was given no information about breakfast or wifi info. Just check in and given one key for my husband and myself. I felt like I was being a bother. Sorry no photos available. We stayed the night and were ready to leave asap. FYI the television is very small. Bring a magnifying glass! We paid under $100, so you get what you pay for.

This Fairfield Inn is the best hotel! The General Manager was so helpful and friendly. I lost my cellphone and Ahmed B. Mozumdar located it outside of the hotel in the parking lot! Very nice and very quiet and clean! Recommend it for everyone

While this particular Fairfield may not be the most updated/newest/up-to-par like you may expect from a Marriott Select hotel, the service here at this hotel was definitely one of the best I have ever experienced. I usually don t leave reviews for a hotel since I usually only stay at Marriott s and the service/quality tends to be the same on average but the service at this hotel was second to none. There is one particular employee who I will never forget her name and will always appreciate the extraordinary service that she provided during my stay Lexis. During my 2 week stay at this hotel, Lexis made sure I was satisfied with my stay and had all the services I needed. Not only was she a welcome back type of employee when I walked in the door, she would constantly ask if I needed any service and if there was anything that she could do to ensure a comfortable stay. Whether it was a request for room service the next day, a soap bar or some towels, Lexis moved quickly and made sure my request was fulfilled promptly. I was extremely satisfied with this service and whenever I go back to Temple, I will definitely stay at this Fairfield going forward. Furthermore, I will sharing my experience with the rest of my KPMG team and strongly encourage all of my colleagues to stay at this hotel, should they be in the Temple area on assignment by our company.

Booked hotel and it was confirmed. Checked in via Bonvoy tool before arrival without issues. Drove 1.5 hours in ice and snow only to see a sign on the door the hotel is closed although they had 6-8 cars inside. Tried calling the hotel 3-4 times before arrival to make sure they are open but no answer or any automated message they are closed. Figured they were short staffed or busy. Not even an email or courtesy call to customers they are shut down. You would think basic business practices would be to inform customers they are closed before arrival. This reflects poorly on this hotel chain, Marriott and the quality of people they hire. I would give this place -5 stars for that. They have a list along with phone numbers of bookings. Did not have the decency to call to let people know they are closed. Just a sign on the door written in terrible handwriting to request a refund through whomever we booked through. There was staff walking around outside. One asked me of they were letting me inside. I told them there is a sign its closed. Staff stares at me in silence for a good 10 seconds, and slowly walks away. Like something out of the twilight zone!
