There is always a long wait at this location whether Iuse drive through or go in . Because of this I rarely go to this location anymore. However, it is close to my house and was on my way running errands tonight , so I made the poor decision to go. When they handed me the order , they had stuffed the bag so full that when they practically threw it at me it ripped and my fries went everywhere, and they didn t even ask if I needed more . I was so frustrated that I left without asking for more . Then when I get to my next stop I realize that they had given me a burger without bacon that was supposed to have bacon on it . So I went back at that point and went inside . There was no other people there but I still had to wait while they finished stocking before I was even greeted. Then when I told the girl what happened she said oh , that because we ran out of bacon . Meaning they needed to cook some bacon . So they could have just asked me to wait while they made more instead of giving me the burger with out bacon. Then while she was making me a new burger , the other worker there came up and handed me a slice of bacon which was meant to go on the original burger that I had already given back to the girl . No one apologized for what happened at all . Literally some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. From now on I will going out of my way to a different store if I want to go to Wendy s which mean I will be going much less often .

Wendys in Lubbock has a bad SOP at their drive-thrus. I have been to all the Wendys in Lubbock and they all have a bad problem with how they take your order at the drive-through. Its always saying they are sorry wait a sec for several minutes or wait a second several times. Instead of taking the order. They apologize instead of something more polite, likeplease holdor well be with you soon*. Ive been to this one several times over the last month and it is always how I describe it. Every single time.

While I was eating I watched the cashier grab fries with her bare hands and touch all over them. It was unbelievable because that is a ready to eat food and she served the food right away after touching and picking up individual fries. She has long nails as well which I doubt are any cleaner. She needs to have gloves on if she s going to touch all over food. Disgusting. Also I wanted a frosty but they gave me a normal drink. Despicable. And I know despicable when I see it. I really wouldnt even consider what I just got served even food. The burger was cooked to a point of dryness, the bacon was old and petrified my first bite (and Im not exaggerating) the bacon cut the inside of my mouth. The creamsicle frosty though man that was amazing thoroughly enjoyed. Tell your drive thru cashier customers can feel how unhappy she is and it feels like she dislikes her job a lot. If I could put one no stars i would!!! I spent $40 on meals that were all ice cold. I got a number five which is a chicken wrap. The tortilla was harder than a brick. The chicken was cold, and it wasn t even wrapped. It had fallen all over the bag and the package burgers were cold. I didn t even serve my family this food. I threw it straight to the trash because bacteria grows. I wish the staff would work a little bit harder. The manager on duty at 11:40 at night was so rude. Do better Wendy s!!!!

This location is a great example of how far Wendys has fallen after Dave Thomas passing. This place cannot get anything right. Every time I have been there I have had some issue during that visit. I went in to order so I could take it home. I was told by an employee that it would be 15-20 minutes because we are trying to get all these orders out. Wow. Isnt that the job of everyone that works in fast food. The fancy expensive soda machine was not working. Nearly every option read unavailable when the button was pushed. I tried to email Wendys corporate compliance and they just blew me off saying that was a franchisee location. No kidding. Wendys is supposed to care if their locations are not being operated in a manner that makes them look good. I wont ever go back to this location.

I went for a salad with fried chicken around 10:30pm order a couple of other items with the salad that I had to wait for .. when I got my salad the fried chicken was cold & hard not a even warm temperature. I called and talk to some one there and of course they asked me to come back so it could be fixed my thing is I had already had to wait was it a problem to drop me a fresh fried chicken? I mean I didn t mind giving y all my money to fund y all pay checks and to top it off I was the only customer at the time they weren t busy or anything I understand they ready to go home and everything but as an ex fast food restaurant employee if I have customers waiting their food will b fresh and correct other than that everything else I got was correct

First time at this location, not impressed, the door on the N. Side is broken so it wont open, no sign on it, you either walk or drive around to the opposite side of the building, I had the store to myself with plenty of employees, it took forever to get a single w/ cheese and Ketchup only, the dining room hadnt been swept from the night before, the bathroom was clean. Ill pass on this store next time.

The drive-thru should be called the sleep-thru. There was a total of four cars, including myself, and it took 28 minutes to finally receive my order. I know how long it took because I called my wife to see what she wanted right after I got in line. The wait got so bad that the car in front of me got tired of waiting and pulled out and probably went to Chick-fil-A, where they know how to run a drive-thru. Wendys got my money this time, but never again!

Lots of things are changing with some of the management at locations throughout. For the most part things are not appealing to the customers. Walked in for a quick late lunch, around 2:30pm. I guess it was new management that had every in a section by the counter and was literally going off on every single employee. 3 customers in front of me and after 15 of being told that they are waiting for money to be put back in the registers two customers left. I myself walked out after I told them I was paying with my card and no one came to help. I see my old friends/staff that have worked for years at these locations and always do good work get put down. New management comes into these stores to make them better, BUT most of the times they run off the customers because of the treatment to the employes and the treatment to the old staff at the location. The best management are the loyal and dedicated employees that Wendys seems to pass up. Having great customer service with great employees/friends makes us come back to a certain location. Wendys, constantly replacing Management does not make your restaurant better if you do not listen to your dedicated and loyal workers. Stress is one reason good workers leave, and management replacing workers keeps loyal customers away and makes us go find our nest new burger place in town

TLDR; pick a different location or hope staff has turned over. We (8 of us) were in the middle of a long road trip. Just wanted to pick up some food and get back on the road. So I got orders from all of the members of the family and tried to submit an order before we got in town, but the website wouldnt let us specify when we would arrive, so I had to cancel the order and place it again once we got in town. As a result, they were hurrying to prepare our order when we arrived. One hamburger was supposed to be without mustard. Staff members gave us the Frosties at the window and then directed us to go park and wait for the hamburgers/chicken nuggets/fries. We handed out the Frosties and... no straws/spoons. So we had to go inside and get some. Kudos to them that they did have the food out in fairly short order, especially for that many people on just a few minutes notice. Then we handed out food and found we were short a burger. When we went back inside and told them, the staff member insisted that they put 8 burgers (including the custom burger) in the bag. We searched the car thoroughly later and there was no 8th burger and we couldnt find any sign that we had received a custom burger (usually there is a mark or sticker). All in all, it was clear this was a crew that handled a lot of food quickly, but they could really use less defensiveness and attitude. It was s $2 burger, but the aggressive response really soured our experience. I normally expect more from Wendys, where things have been a step above other fast food vendors- it is part of why we picked them and not one of the competitors we drove past.

We went through the drive thru on 7/23 at 10:13pm the young man running the speaker was polite however they had NO lights on the outside to show they were open. The menu lights were off and when asked to turn them on so we could see the menu was told they didn t know how. The manager could be seen walking around as if she was annoyed that they had cars in the drive thru.. the lights you see are from the car behind me and my flash..

I ordered two baconators on the app, both had like one and a half pieces of bacon literally on a baconator with the word bacon in the title of the burger. When I called... the manager didnt offer any kind of resolution just essentially said sorry about you, we are running low and bacon so were trying to spread it out. And since I got a discount on the app she said that I was not eligible to have any kind of customer service or to resolve the issue at all I just have to live with my so-called baconator. My family all received fries that were gummy and a few were still frozen. It was as if the fryer oil wasnt hot enough. We were there just after a huge rush, so I took that into consideration. We also eat here frequently and they are honestly my favorite fast food restaurant. A few cold fries wont keep me from visiting again. PS. The burgers and chicken nuggets were great!

My Brother & I went into this location to have lunch. When we walked into the dining room , the floor from the door all the way to the restroom was greasy and slick. We alerted the staff and they just blew us off. my boot are not slipping! After using the restroom my brother decided that he no longer wanted to eat at this location. So upon exiting the building we were asked if we were going to eat ? I said no because my brother almost fell twice on their floor. Then a young man at the counter told us to just leave . Your floor is slick , someone is going to slip and fall, & you wanna be rude about it ! If this is the service you get at this location, I will just go to Whataburger! There s really one explanation for a greasy slick floor, they used the same mop head to mop the lobby as they do the kitchen ! Yup yup I am going to play that card , I was in Food service mgmnt. for many many years. Doubt anything will be done until someone slips and falls and gets hurt !

Inside service was rude I went through drive through and they forgot my wrap then when I went inside to get it no one acknowledged me with a welcome or let me get that for you. The young girl that was there then threw the bag in my hand and I think that s very unprofessional. To top it off there was a hair in my wrap. I m disgusted. Customer service overall not good I do not recommend this Wendy s off the loop in Lubbock

Worst experience, I ve ever had at Wendy s. We had two orders and she said if you going to make it quick and she kept on giving us attitude the entire order. I would not recommend going here. It between 815-835 pm.

Delivery: Food was mediocre. Bun was super dry, old lettuce and tomato, fries stale. NEVER get the sour cream for a sour cream & chive potato...NEVER!!!! Its literally in the name of the item!!! Do better!!!

I went to order some lunch on my 30-minute lunch break. The employee came on and said, Can you please wait? My computer froze. So I waited 5 minutes and still nothing. So I drove around to check at the window. No one there! A vehicle was behind me as well and drove off as well. I drove across the street to McDonalds to order my lunch. It made me late for my lunch break. Im very disappointed.

This Wendys makes all of them look terrible. Pull up and wait 7 mins for the people in front of us to order not because they are busy or because they didnt know what they wanted (we can hear them complaining to each other about having to wait to order when no one else was in line) but because whoever is working the nights is LAZY. While in line behind a single car with no other vehicle at the window we sit 7 mins before they even ask the people in that car order when your ready then we pull up and are told be with you in a min 6 mins later realizing they are not even taking anyone order until they have made the prior order and its been paid for and that person is now leaving the window. Then when i am propted to be able to order . The women gets loud and rude and tries to tell me how many of what i ordered. When they are running a 2 for 6 deal and all 4 people in the car ordered from the 2 for 6 menu and heard me order their food . We will not return to this location , nor will anyone from the other 3 families that were in my truck. Goodjob to your night shift for making this place what it is .

Updated - got food poisoning. Filing a complaint with the city and franchise owner. Too many bad experiences at this location. Sat in the drive for 25mins. Literally 5 employees in the store. And the food still came back cold.

Im sitting in drive thru with no people sitting behind me and they have asked 5 cars in a row to move forward, then the manager was rude about asking us to move. In fact demanded it when no one was behind me told me it was illegal to take a picture of rude manager as they took phones out and took video or pictures of me and my family then refused to give me a receipt saying I was refunded while they continuously threatened to call the police

This is the worse Wendy s I have ever been too. I placed an online order. The lady at the window was nice but they had me pull forward and wait the guy that brought the food at only said here s your food and walked off. I got home to find out they didn t make my burger anywhere near correct it was like they didn t even read how to make it. I ordered two sugar cookies and received two chocolate chip cookies that were too hard to eat. Choose somewhere else to eat.

Haven t had Wendy s since this location opened up and today reminded me why. I will never understand why you are asked to wait and the food still be cold and fries soggy! The people taking the order and handing out the order are so friendly! 5 star for that part of service but on the quality part -5 stars if possible.. HUGE FAIL!!!! That s $30+ wasted thanks Dave and wend founders of Wendy s lol

The food here is great, but I am really annoyed at ALWAYS (not just once in awhile, but EVERY single time) being asked to pull into a parking space even when I go through the drive-thru and Im literally the only person in line. I could understand if there were people in line behind me, but it doesnt make any sense when Im the only person in line. If I wanted to order food and wait in a parking spot, Id go to Sonic. This is supposed to be FAST food. Its a drive-thru, not a drive-and-go-park.

This is repeatedly always the worst Wendy s I ve ever visited. The fries are always stone cold and soggy. Last time I went, the soda machine was out and we re handing out cans, however willingly charged us for multiple upsized drinks and gave us one can regardless of what was charged.

Been here will over a dozen times and its always extremely slow, no matter how busy. They tell you to pull up or go park in a spot even if youre the only one there. Theyve gotten my order wrong 3 times now. Ill happily go out of my way to the Wendys on 82nd or 19th if I want it.

We were the only dine in customers, and we still recieved horrible service. There were minimal cars in the drive in, so they werent very busy inside or out so there is no excuse why the dine in area was completely filthy with dirty tables and food all over the floor. Coke and condiment station was sticky and dirty. Horrible and ridiculous.

Look at this bullsh!t! Cold as hell and with expired lettuce. I didnt even eat the item cause it was still pink inside between the meat. Wendys have terrible service and NEEDS A HEALTH INSPECTOR TO SHUT IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!!

I will never come back. My fries and burger were cold. The last four times I ve gone the price of the same food is different and you never get a receipt. This is unacceptable, too many other places you can go to eat in Lubbock.
