I stopped in tp pick up a gyro when my lunch plans got canceled. I did not enjoy the gyro at all. Ive been eating gyros for almost thirty years and this one ranked near the bottom.

This is one of those interesting places thats kind of a hodge podge of different euro/Mediterranean foods. From gyro to baclava its pretty good. Maybe we went at a weird time but it appeared to only be the owner who got right up to help us even though it was apparent he just sat down to eat his own food. The building itself could use some renovations but if Im looking for tasty take out, Im not gonna trip over the aesthetics. Ggwp

I liked it when I first came a few times but I went today to get a gyro an I expressed how I dont like the outside meat that has been sitting there out in The open dried up an he gave it to me anyways he said look itd only one piece took one of the pieces out an said ill eat it..but when I pulled it out an looked it all the pieces were the same I asked for a new one cause I really do like the place but he denied me an said no an gave money back... he still an ok guy I just didnt like the way he did me today

So growing up in Killeen you know all the mom and pop shops this is definitely one of them. This gentleman been here a long time one of the best gyro shops by far in Killeen. My husband and I came for a gyro plate for him and a good philly cheese steak for me. He also sells a different variety of food from hot wings, cheese burgers, you will definitely find something to peek your taste buds. Hes really a very sweet guy and he cooks every order. You can also relax to the different and rare birds and their singing on the TV while you wait for your bit to eat Vegetarian options: He also make a vegetarian burger and pocket

My boyfriend and I went to Gyro Stop this past Saturday and the food and service were phenomenal! I had the catfish and fries basket and he had the Gyro plate. The owner was very nice and the restaurant was very clean. It wasnt very busy and the owner made our food right after we ordered it so it was nice and hot. I had an issue when I orders with postmates, my order didnt get delivered the first time(totally not the restaurants fault btw, it was on the driver) so when I re ordered the restaurant was very kind and even actually gave me a free lemonade even though it wasnt their fault. I ve gone exactly 2 times. The first time, I was just craving a gyro. It was soooo good that I absolutely had to go back again. The sauce is really creamy and the vegetables are so fresh. A meal can fill you up nice but I get 2 gyros because I want to get both chicken and lamb. Wish I had found this place sooner, about to leave and I m very sad about now eating there more. A hole the wall. Those usually have some the best food and this place did not disappoint. Older Greek gentleman behind the counter taking orders and Manning the grill. Had a Gyro for my first time there and it was fantastic. Spiced just right, not over cooked, and fresh pita. Next time I will get the platter with just meat and pita no fries. Dont get me wrong the fries are fresh and tasty. But it has been a very long time since the last great Hole in the wall Greek place found closed its doors. I will be returning and not just for the platter but some of the other offerings as well such as a cheese steak sandwich. Yeah I have had the originals in Philly so hoping for something else hot fresh and delicious.

This family operated restaurant is a great place for gyros. The gyros are cooked fresh to order, the prices are good, and the service is nice. A true diamond in the rough! Stopped in here after a long day at work, just an hour before closing. I Was delightfully greeted by whom I perceived to be the owner. Upon completing my order My food was brought to my table. I ordered a traditional Gyro sandwich with feta which by the way was old world style feta and not the crumbled, Six Falafel and an appetizer of hummus. Being from NYC I honestly admit this food was by far the best I have ever had. Additionally, I ordered a second Gyro with the expectations of taking it home with me. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The owner walked over and we conversed for a good thirty minutes. Furthermore, I devoured my second sandwich before I left the place. Great experience and will definitely revisit in the near future.

This Gyros restaurant is great ... I lived in Europe for several years and enjoyed Gyros restaurants while living abroad. I never expected to find a truly great Gyros restaurant in the middle of Texas ... pleasantly surprised.

I would give no stars but thats not an option...little kid working the register and why ask what I want on my gyro if you dont put it on there...$1.00 extra for feta, that makes the gyro....wont be back
