I was disappointed for it being our first time visiting this restaurant. The house lo mein and beef with rice noodles had hardly any meat whatsoever. The color of the noodles werent as dark or rich in color as you would think. The best thing out of it all were the green beans. We will NOT be visiting again

Hopefully the owner reads this and appreciates the negative perception. This used to be one of our reliable go to places (easy 5 star) and always served great food. Recently there seems to have been a turn over in chefs and marked change in food quality (heavy on thickeners etc) and the last couple of times, we were increasingly disappointed with the food flavor and quality. Weve pulled the plug for now. Hopefully theyll return to their old approach and well give them another shot.

This restaurant serves really great food, though I regret forgetting to take pictures today. We ordered braised beef brisket, which was incredibly tender and delicious. What impressed me the most was the century egg with chili; the chili was juicy and spicy, made with Mexican peppers, and paired perfectly with the century egg. The steamed fish was a favorite among everyone, as it was fresh and tasty, disappearing in no time. The stir-fried cured meat is said to be a specialty dish, made in-house and accompanied by garlic, making it very appetizing. We also tried the fish-flavored eggplant, which is perfect for those who enjoy a sweet and savory flavor it was also very enjoyable. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our dishes. This place truly is a rare gem for delicious food!

I recently dined at Blazing Wok, a Chinese restaurant known for its fiery dishes and authentic flavors. One of the standout dishes I tried was the Spicy Chicken Cube. Love this place! The Spicy Chicken Cube and the Twin Pepper Chicken are our favorites and are crazy addicting. Nice mix of spicy and numbing. We crave it all the time. We order via GrubHub and theres no way to make requests on the order... but Id ask for it to be extra spicy if I could and itd be perfect. Twice cooked pork here is spot on and delicious. Made with pork belly and is lip smacking good. My wife gets the Singapore noodles here everytime and it never disappoints. Very tasty. Food here can be a bit oily at times, but dang, that oil is good.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. When I brought the food home, I discovered that the Pepper Chicken had two unidentified black objects on it. Upon closer inspection under the light, I realized they were legs of some kind of insect. Additionally, the chicken emitted a strong sour and foul odor, indicating it had spoiled. This not only made the food inedible but also ruined my entire evening. As a working professional, it s frustrating to finally get home around 8 or 9 PM, only to encounter such poor quality food. I have given this restaurant multiple chances because my first experience was quite good. However, the quality has consistently declined with each subsequent order. This latest incident raises serious concerns about their hygiene standards. Furthermore, I ordered an $17.99 beef dish, and upon opening the container, I found it contained only about five pieces of beef. The portion was extremely small, barely covering a third of the box, which is unprofessional and not worth the price. This experience has left me very angry and disappointed. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues and improves the quality and hygiene of their food to prevent other customers from having similar experiences.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Sichuan restaurant. I would have said the Mala would have been my favorite but this is close. What I like about here is the fair pricing and the large portions they give you. Since inflation a lot of places have raised prices and cut back on portions. I feel it s different here. 1. Pickled cucumbers: this was served as an appetizer for free. I was surprised because at other places you have to pay. It was mildly flavored but pleasant. 2. The pickled vegetables fish filet was good. I wish it was more tart but overall the portions was plentiful and it was tasty. 3. Spicy chicken cubes: while it s normally cooked crispy this was battered more like breading. However the flavors were all there and the textures were good. It wasn t soggy at all. Different but very good. I would get this again. 4. Cumin beef had strong flavors but pleasant to eat. No complaints here. 5. String beans: this was another favorite. They use picked mustard greens as part of this recipe and it brings a different and distinct flavor that is enjoyable. I ve never had this version and it will soon become my favorite. 6. Beef rice noodles: This wasn t bad. Flavors were a little milder than I like but still enjoyable. 7. Mapo tofu was full of Sichuan pepper chili oil that numbs your lips. It wasn t too spicy and it tasted good. 8. Salt and pepper fish is really good and tasty. 9. Eggplant was delicious. 10. Kung Pao chicken was okay. Sauce gets overpowered by eggplant sauce. 11. Hot and sour soup had a little different flavor but was good. 12. Clay pot beef ribs and shrimp: although the flavors were okay I found the ribs to be fatty and the shrimp overcooked. It s not bad but a little too oily for me. 13. Pork feet was delicious. I love this style of food but my family was t too crazy about it. Overall, I d come back again. I feel that you get what you pay for and more.

I love shichuan cuisines, and this place is one of the best in town. I had the hot broil fish, chicken dumplings. .The cumin lamb the eggplant. sesame chicken the mapo tofu. The food was absolutely top quality, especially the fish entree was delicious and very reasonably priced.. the service was fast. I took my family go to Blazing Wok tonight. My friend suggested me to have a try. The dishes we ordered today were all pretty cheap and the portions are heavy as well. It was kinda busy today there, but the service was still amazing. The waitress Sarah always gave us her biggest smiles and add ice water for us a lot of times. I really recommend spicy chicken cube and Yangzhou fried rice. This is my first time to go to this restaurant and it is delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also nice. We ve never eaten here before and was told by our friends to give it try, so we did. I have to admit the food was very delicious the lunch specials are priced very well for the amount of food you ll get. The service was excellent very fast and very easy to explain what you want. I took my family go to Blazing Wok today at around 5 pm. The service were super good and dishes were delicious. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She added drinks for us at least five times. We ordered 6 dishes for my family. The portions of each dish were very adequate. We loved sesame chicken, spicy chicken cube and house fried rice. Outstanding food at outstanding prices. They even have a loyalty scheme which I think is a great idea. Order the universal standards as a test, which was dumplings for starters and a Pad Thai. Update: ok maybe I shouldnt have praised this restaurant so soon. Their take out is probably fine. But when you dine inside now it isnt so great. Food tasted mediocre. My mother was especially upset that 1) they got our order wrong so we had to wait longer 2) they used a huge plastic dish to serve us something that has hot oil -potentially not healthy. Everyone else had ceramic/porcelain bowls. Half of the plastic bowl with our food was already stained brown. It makes the food look bad. Mala Sichuan near by picked up in quality, while I feel blazing wok went down a few levels. Original: I have been here at least 5 times and ordered take out at least 3-4 times. I think the food gets better every time. One of the best places for Sichuan food in this area.

This is my favorite Sichuan restaurant in the area, and one of my favorite in all of Houston. The food is made by a real Sichuan chef and they aren t afraid to give you the authentic flavors. The peppercorns, fungus, tofu, everything is right on the mark. Prices are fair and portions are large. Lunch menu is incredibly high value and tons of options. Even the small added soup for lunch is fantastic. I ve had 9 dishes here so far and every single one I d score 5 stars. The shredded pork is very good & the serving size is good as well. The lunch menu prices are esp nice . I ordered chicken lomein as takeout. This was disappointing . Blazing Wok is the definition of hole in the wall Szechuan food. Ive been eating here for lunch for months now. Mala is one of my favorite Szechuan restaurants in town, but Blazing Wok comes close and it has the bonus of having fantastic lunch specials on weekdays! The lunch specials come with a cup of soup, a fried egg roll, and rice. Theyre priced anywhere between $7 - $11 depending on what you get. This time around, I ordered Hot Boiled Beef and a non-lunch entrée of spicy chicken cubes. The lunch special portion can easily feed 2 people if you arent too hungry, which makes it an even better deal! Theyre both great dishes and our service was done by an elderly woman who was very sweet to us! Definitely come here for great food and solid value!

The waiters were really friendly and accommodating. The food was not bad but a little too flavourful and too oily for me Peppercorn Fish 3/5 I understand it should be an oily dish but too really oily for me I guess I should have ordered something else Spicy Chicken Cube 3/5 They did this a little different from other SiChuan restaurant. This is generally a dish that is easy to like but what I usually compare in all the restaurants is whether they give you enough chicken fillings. For me, not a worthy dish because it s really hard to find chicken meat. Garlic Fried Bak Choy 4/5 I like this one I wish it could be less oily though. I would still order this again. Might come back to try other dishes.

There is no question as to why this place has such great reviews. Their food is so good! I had the beef fried rice. Hubby had the Singapore noodles. We shared an order of kung pao chicken. The kung pao chicken was spicy and so full of flavour. It looked like much care was put into cooking the food. The beef fried rice was perfect and hit the spot. I didnt get to taste the Singapore noodles because hubby swallowed it before I could even ask for a bite, but in his words after eating, These people know what theyre doing. Im presuming he loved it. I was only disappointed I didnt get to taste their egg rolls as they didnt have any available when I went, but maybe next time, because Ill surely be back soon!

I was recently recommended this restaurant by a friend. I am so glad my wife and I gave it a try. Every dish we have ordered has been filled with flavor and the portions are great. The employees are very friendly and attentive. We discovered this place about 2 weeks ago and have been back at least 3 times already. Extensive menu offers a variety of options. We look forward to working our way through the menu.

Tried this place for the first time and took the fam there. Daughter is a big fan of orange chicken so we thought to give it a try. First stumbled across this restaurant off of Groupon actually but I didn t purchase it. After reading reviews and trying it wow amazing. Very flavorful especially the orange chicken! Service was great. Owner is so sweet and helped us with some suggestions. Will be back again!! Give it a try especially if you re in the Missouri city/sugar land area!!

We decided to try this restaurant this past week and it did not disappoint! We ve been back twice already :) The food is so tasty and delicious. We ve tried chicken & broccoli, kung pao chicken and Mongolian beef it was all delicious. The staff is also super friendly and sweet. Will definitely come back.

love finding new places to enjoy high quality, fresh and delicious Chinese food. My go to items are boiled fish filets and crunchy chicken. I was so happy that they were able to accommodate my tastes- I like the flavor of Sichuan cuisine but I cant handle too much spice The restaurant wait staff and cooks were super awesome and got me exactly what I wanted! If youre thinking about trying this place, DO IT!! From the first time we ordered we were hooked. My boyfriend and I love Szechuan and just moved to the area from downtown Houston. He is from China and says it reminds him of his mothers cooking. Weve tried a lot of places and this one stands out. Food is DELICIOUS, well priced, BIG portions, and authentic. They offer free delivery and even deals on Groupon sometimes. The delivery man was so sweet and actually took the time to explain which dish was which at my doorstep. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. I dont have a single negative thing to say, you can tell they put a lot of thought and care into their food and restaurant.

I Doordashed their chicken lo mein and their egg rolls. I asked for the lo mein to be spicy and they delivered. The chicken had a slight breading and crunch and the noddles were thin. They were very enjoyable. The egg rolls were very well seasoned and I ll define yk the dining in soon.

The place is nice and clean, not crowded and staff is helpful and friendly. I ordered cumin lamb, Mala intestine with pork blood, spicy fish fillet and string beans stir fry and they all very good. We asked to have them made mild. We finish the lamb dish and the rest we will take home. They serve big portions and delicious. The unique movies frame posters are very interesting throughout the restaurant as decor. l love it!

Absolutely without a doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in Sugar Land. The chef is genuinely Chinese from China, amazing. The food, the service and the hospitality was extraordinary. There is one server who is multilingual, he speaks English, Spanish, French, Mandarin and Cantonese. It just recently opened and they give a 15% off discount. They also deliver for free to your house if you live nearby. The owner is super friendly and the food simply tastes incredible!!
