I took this picture last night at the Heritage Ranch County club and golf course. The resturant has excellent food and we love going when they have steak night. They have an excellent bourbon selection and the bartenders are always very friendly. I always enjoy this course, well maintained and friendly staff.

Course was very nice. Had a hiccup at the start of my round. The gentleman I was paired up with refused to share a cart with me and the starter and him kept going back and forth. Starter had to go inside to talk to the clubhouse and delayed my start by at least 10-15 minutes. That is not why I have only gave 3 stars. Starter was just doing his job and I understand that. My 3 star rating is because I paid $110 for a round on punched greens. The pro shop when I called never said anything about the greens and that should be the first thing they say on the phone to someone trying to a book a round.

Such a great place to have an event, play golf, or have a drink Staff is always very friendly and attentive. But at the same time not overbearing. This is a great golf course to play its well-maintained The girl has a decent whiskey selection and the bartenders are always very friendly. The people that work in The Outpost are also very friendly but down to earth. I visit this place often and enjoy it every time I come here. Patti Wade is great at event planning and has helped my wife plan some of the best events Ive ever attended.

First off, if you are going to play here, dont be a jerk. Keep your pace of play up and if youre holding people up, start playing ready golf or let others play through. And fix your ball marks! Excellent conditions year-round and a challenging layout with firm and tricky greens. Can be a bit more expensive than the other local courses around but you get what you pay for. I walk but theres a few holes with long transfers: 8-9, 9-10, 11-12, 15-16, 17-18. On those you may want to hitch a ride on a cart so that people arent waiting for you on the next tee. Course-wise, its an interesting layout and for the most part, fair. Theres a lot of up and down and quite a bit of shotmaking. It does have the odd fairway hazards and trouble always seems to be placed near the fairways at exactly the driving distances many people play (240-260 white tees, 270-300 blue tees). Par 3s are tough and long from the tips. Greens are large, fast, and well maintained. If I were to change anything, Id move fairway bunkers into miss areas rather than middle of the fairways. Having bunkers right in the fairway landing zone makes the course seem a bit contrived on a few holes. But overall, its a great layout, just one step below a championship-level course feel.

We paid $120 dollars for this course and it s worth only $40 at most. They don t water the grass it s like a cow pasture. The pace of play is terrible with them over packing the course and the marshal overseeing your every move. If you pay that much for a course you expect green grass. I don t recommend and wish I saw a review that reflected this.

Our company had the pleasure of using Heritage Ranch for its annual Christmas Party. The entire experience from planning to the night itself was wonderful. Patty does an amazing job meeting all of your needs and more from the moment you tour the venue. The food was delicious, many went back for seconds and the wait staff was so polite. The DJ, Pete, was a HIT, we were happy to have the music but his entertaining skills kept us laughing all evening. From large events to intimate gatherings Heritage Ranch has everything you need!

Me and my wife wanted to thank Ms. Patty Wake for being so kind, patient and accommodating to all of our queries and request for our wedding last May. She is so impressive in adjusting with our theme. Everything went well from planning it last year until the big day. When we got to their venue we already knew that this place is gonna be our ceremony and reception place in one. The food is tasty and delicious during our food tasting and as well the wedding day. Although we can t eat much since there are a lot of things going on during that day as a married couple. Guest also loved it and we appreciate them all. Also, there is Pete the DJ that is also helpful in our wedding adjusting to the needs of our theme vibe. First time playing the course. I had heard so much about it and it did not disappoint. I play golf all over Texas and I must say, this course and the service was top of the line. I can only imagine what it would play like in the spring and summer. The course was in fabulous condition and it was mid January. Golfers always like to talk about greens. This really is a great golf course!!! I hate to even give a review because it would be even more hard to get a morning tee time. The golf cart are super great with GPS to a very smooth ride. I like the way the whole course is layout with holes that are not close together but spread out between them with lots of trees and very full lakes with very lust fairways along with nice white sand traps. We were blown away by the greens that were plush with no imperfection that rolls nice and clean. A cart girl we saw at least 4 time while we were playing along with a great club house staff, restaurant, and the cart guys that greet you when you arrive. So me and my buddies will definitely be coming back more.

I have been playing this course since it opened. I love the layout. But it is over priced, the conditions are okay but the pace of play the last few times is horrific. Today was 4:45hrs. Often 3-4 groups on a hole. No course management. Also they took all water stations off the course which make perfect sense when it s summer in Texas. I won t be back for a while

Played 5/22 Sunday afternoon. Teed off behind a group of 4 older guys playing the 6,500 yard tees. Most of the time they didnt get to the ladies tees or were just past the ladies tees off the box. They wouldnt let my group of 3 to play through and there was no marshal to move them along resulting in a painful almost 5 hour round. The greens were also punched about 2 weeks ago and still pretty bumpy and rough but they did make it known up front.

Is a wonderful track. I would love to play again when the Bermuda is not dormant. Greens were in great shape however. Tee boxes were over seeded and looked great. 5 stars considering its winter golf. Temps have been warm, but even so, grass does not grow as usual in December. We play Heritage many times throughout the year. One of our favorite places to play, for many reasons. 1 - The entire staff, from check in, to cart staff, to starters, to the cart girls - are all always super friendly and welcoming. Even though this is a Retirement community, they welcome the outside public with open arms. 2 - The greens are ALWAYS some of the best in the metro - ALWAYS! (even in December) 3- Great layout with some very easy, shorter, fun holes to some very demanding holes as well. And when the wind blows, which is everyday, it can be a true test of where your game is at. 4 - The members - If you play Heritage with any regularity, you will encounter some members, or people that actually live there. They are all great, open, nice people, who just like the staff, are open and receptive to the outside public. Heritage is a true model for what other courses should look, feel, and be run like!!

This is one of the best maintained public courses in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. Hard to find much wrong with it except some of the management techniques. Tee times are set at 9 minutes apart. In our partys opinion, the timing should be maybe 11 minutes as it is with many courses. The 9 minute timing might work if there were any marshals on the course. Their solution is a less an adequate message system on the GPS screen. We spent every hole waiting for the group ahead of us. At the turn, the Starter told us that he knew we had been waiting but he had said something to the group ahead of us and that it should help. When we teed off at Hole 12, the message system said we were 9 minutes behind. After we hit our tee shots, it said we were only 3 minutes behind. So, we drove up and still waited for the group ahead of us. After we finished that hole and went on, the GPS started flashing that we were now 10 minutes behind. We finally quit after 15 holes as it was too nerve racking to be waiting and dealing with the automated GPS. We recommend that the course use at least one live marshal to ride the course to keep the groups moving.

I play 60+ rounds a year. This is by far the worst experience I ever had playing a round. We were approached by a ranger who told us to speed things up. We obliged even though we were already playing at a quick pace and we were not backing up the group behind us. What was upsetting was the ranger followed us for 3 holes. We definitely did not feel welcome. Heritage Ranch needs to teach this ranger some customer service skills. I would not recommend this course course.There are other courses that appreciate the business and wont rush you.

Course is in great shape and play , as always, is kept to a max of 4:15 hours. Johnnie in the pro shop is so friendly and helpful and makes everyone feel like it is their own country club.

Everyone and I mean everyone had an amazing time. From the drive into the community to the ambience, food, and service was incredible. I really enjoyed working with you.
