Came by for dinner during the HRW and had their special menu - the food was incredible, I tried the beef empanadas, crab cake, the churrasco signature entree and their chocolate and tres leches desserts. Highly recommend the fruity pebbles tres leches, it s above my wildest expectations! On top of that, the service was great and everything was catered promptly. Will be back very soon!!! The free plantain chips with chimichurri are incredible. I could eat these for days. Id go here and sit at the bar just to snack on these and have a cocktail or three. For the food.. Ive been pretty underwhelmed for the price for the main courses and apps. Its good, just nothing to write home about. Might skip dining in, get some cocktails and chips, then head somewhere else for dinner.

The environment and service was great. Beef empanadas 5/5 Churrasco Argentino 4.5/5 Corn Poblano Soup 4/5 I requested for a well done steak and the chef was skilled enough to make it tasty. The combination with the creamy potatoes au gratin and chimichurri was perfect. Minus 0.5 because the there is still a little pink inside. I would have sent it back if I was not running out of time.

Came here for the first time during HRW, but we will be back! Impeccable food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. Honestly one of the best dining experiences I ve had in my life. I have to start with the food because it was absolutely delicious. I got the spinach and mushroom enchiladas and it really exceeded my expectation. They also give you complimentary plantain chips which salsa and a green sauce which we loved. We also ordered the salmon which was also delicious. Our server was very attentive and prompt with all of our orders. We came on a Monday and they close at 9, but we thought they closed later every day lol. Still a wonderful night.

Went for lunch on Saturday. Party of 6. I made reservations. We were sat in a room far in the back of the restaurant. To put it nicely, the server was apathetic. We only saw her to take our order and to clunk our food on the table. My coke was flat, I sent it back. We were charged $6 for each lemonade. No refills ? It s not like they were fresh-squeezed, it was straight out of the soda machine. When it was time to pay, I asked for the check and waited a good 10 Minutes. Then, after receiving the check I had to get up and find someone to close it for me after a good 10 MORE minutes of waiting. My guests all left because they were tired of waiting. I can t believe I paid over $300 for 6 of us to get terrible service in a back room that seemed like an afterthought. We used to really enjoy Churrasco s what a disappointment. Not going back. Several fruit flies kept us company while we waited for our server to finally show up. Unacceptable at a restaurant this expensive.

Sunset dinner by the river in the buzzy city? Meat lovers? Hungry teenagers? This is the place to go. Situated by the river, its a good place to hang out with family and friends. On the weekend, they offer a brunch with rich variety to choose from. I like the planta chips and the steak, my kids like their freshly made upon order pancakes. lol, why pay $30 to have pancakes? Im not sure what secret source they put in, but ever since my teenagers tried it, every time theyll just get stuffed with the pancakes. Churrascos is an awesome confluence of amazing cuisine, beautiful decor, and top-tier service. We come here as often as we can. The owners and servers are all super friendly. The food is cooked perfectly every time, with just the right balance of flavors in the seasonings, sauces, and style of cooking. I love pretty much everything on the menu. They also have wonderful desserts. The brunch buffets on the weekends are great, too, with a wide selection of their top dishes, including pork ribs and excellent steaks, and made-to-order crepes, waffles, and tres leches pancakes. Make no mistake, Churrascos is on the pricey side, but well worth it and justified for the quality and quantity of food, excellent service, and beautiful decor. Highly recommend getting a reservation in general, especially for the popular brunch buffet times.

Second , the wait staff did not mention all refills for soda are not free upon making order. That would have been nice to know in advance. The lamb chops, all flavors of the empanadas, crab cakes, tequila bread pudding, coco ice cream, and the pasta de pesto with grilled veggies are ALL SO YUMMY! Delicious cocktails include the smoked old fashioned and the red sangria. The atmosphere is quite unique, but the best part is the lake view from certain tables within the restaurant. Churrascos Sugarland exceeded my expectations!! We are trying a different restaurant every weekend for HRW (Houston Restaurant Week) and Churrascos was first on our list and I m glad we tried it! Our server, Skylar, was awesome!! He was VERY attentive to our needs and gave us the impression that he enjoys his job and that he wanted to be there. And the food, OMG!! From the complimentary plantation chips and salsa/chimichurri to the dessert; all was delicious!! We ordered empanadas and calamari for our first course; paella and gammas al ajillo (pan grilled shrimp) for our second course; flan and FRUITY PEBBLES TRES LECHES for the 3rd course!!!! Whoever came up with infusing lemon grass into tres leches and adding an inside layer of blueberries and then soaking it in sweet vanilla cream was GENIUS!!! It tasted just like fruity pebbles!!! I was told that this dessert will only be around until Restaurant Week is over sooooo I m going back before it s too late !

We visited Churrascos Sugarland Friday, the Staff was friendly, but when I asked to sit on the patio, the tables were dirty. Service was ok, I would have liked the waiter to have been more attentive to us. Food was GREAT!!! Try out the Passion Fruit Sweet Tea, it was a hit with me, the water front property does the place justice and was a very relaxed atmosphere. Decided to hit the Father s Day Brunch. Made a reservation for noon and was still waiting to be seated at 12:25. Didn t help that the hostess was calling me by the wrong name- thankfully I overheard someone else use the correct name otherwise we could have been skipped altogether. Got to our table- literally the furthest one from the front door with my 94 yr old dad (who uses a cane)- table was sticky and one of the legs of my chair was an inch shorter than the others. The place was really dark and seems dirty- didn t help that there was tons of food on the floor from kids. Their $36 brunch was holiday priced at $46. Service was sparse except the waitress coming by twice to say everything good? It wasn t. Food on the buffet was cold but edible. Honestly, I ve had better breakfasts at Waffle House. It was so loud and there were tons of screaming kids. I know it s a holiday and they were busy so I can forgive the spotty service and the crowds behavior (that s not their fault) but for 3 people $181 for brunch (we each had a cocktail) seems excessive and we won t return.

Extremely welcoming staff and excellent food. My husband and I came here Saturday night to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. My parents used to go to Churrascos when they were dating, so it was cool to go to a place my parents love so much. Our waiter was so nice, funny, and attentive. When he heard it was our anniversary, he had a complimentary tres leches brought out and the manager brought us complimentary champagne. All of our food was just amazing. We usually go to Churrascos for anniversary dinner or family birthdays. We went for our anniversary to have a nice dinner, and choosing this restaurant for this occasion was the worst. They brought us the drinks and then ignored us without coming to see if we need more drinks or something, we had to be calling the waiter so he could come to our table because otherwise he would never come and his attitude was not the best. We thought maybe he was busy or something but in the end it was just us sitting in his section and he still didnt come and he was just standing talking at the bar with the other waiters. It was very frustrating and left us with a bad impression of the restaurant. We really felt bad that our anniversary had such a bad time because of the service at this restaurant. We had to tip 20%, but honestly this service didnt even deserve 10% for the bad service. The waiter service should improve at least in this location.

I hosted surprise birthday party for my mom at this location and I am super satisfied with overall experience. Thalia the event coordinator was great in communicating and assisting with the planning. Great party packages. Amazing food and ambiance. The servers, managers and all were very professional, kind and efficient in making the event experience wonderful. Only few cons for the experience is that the banquet room did not offer table decor or room decor which is not a big deal. The lighting of the room could be improved and the $124 tech fee to use the projector is a bit excessive. Regardless, I am so grateful that I had the party at Churasscos and highly recommend the banquet room for any private dining parties.

Made reservations for 1:30 on Mothers Day... OK, OK, I know Mothers Day is a madhouse, but... Like they cant *plan* for that?! We had a party of 6. This was our worst experience ever. It was wall-to-wall packed. Probably 50 people waiting at the hostess, outside, bar, bathroom hall, etc. It was an easy fire code violation, Im sure. Just a few minutes turned into an almost TWO HOUR wait. When we finally got seated - yes, we waited - there were two long lines for the buffet. Thing was, they didnt tell you one was for entrees and one was for sides! My daughter-in-law and kids went first ... through the line for the sides... and came back disgusted and angry and not in the mood to stand in another long line for some besides salad and soup. Moral of the story: Just Say No!

Today I visited this restaurant and I was very disappointed since I have visited other locations that have it and the food is very good but they practically rob you when it comes to asking for the bill. The waiter comes with the tip included and tells me that they took it from the card without my authorization and to complete it he added the amount that he understood as if the tip were automatic and not a service that you must earn with your good attention to where we have arrived I hope they improve that and put honest and dignified people who earn their money honestly.

I had visited this particular location many times previously. We had a table of eight. I arrived earliest and sat there for over 15 minutes before someone greeted me. I was told he was waiting on more people to show up before come saying hi. Food has been great here. The trio appetizer was flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the quinoa and lentil salad with steak. The steak was as rare as possible as requested. Lettuce, lentils and quinoa were very fresh. The presentation was great as well. I would suggest the update on the interior fabric lightings. It doesn t seem to be very clean. Maybe only the ones closest within my sight. There are outdoor seatings. When the weather is nice, it is perfect for brunch.

Amazing food topped by even better service from our server, Skylar, who was wonderful and offered fantastic recommendations for us. Well definitely be back next time were in town. The pollo ajillo was some of the best chicken Ive ever had. It caught me by surprise how delicious it was. Dont skip on the tres leches, even if youre full, you dont want to miss out! A group of four of us dined here. It s been a few years since I ve been here. Last visit was ok, it used to be excellent. Time has not been kind. Service started ok, but declined quickly. Getting attention was difficult. The mains took a 40 minutes to arrive. Our queries (where was food, can I get the bill, etc) were met with the same answer. They have a large party of 150 persons. I m unsure why that means it s ok to serve tasteless food, to ignore us or just fob us off with that excuse. We ordered steaks, paella, rib and tres leches. Tres leches was very good. We were stuffed into a back room that appeared to be for work groups, etc. They did their best, but it was obviously not part of the main dining area. It wasnt that big of a deal, but it didnt help. They were fairly busy, but there was some apparent confusion amongst the servers, and they were bickering a bit. Again, no biggie, but noticed. What did frustrate us most was that we were given the option during online reservations to either choose the full menu or their pre-set price menu. We chose the full menu, but when we arrived, that was seemingly not even an option? We had to pay the 75.99/person for a limited menu, and it felt like we were really getting gouged. All things combined, we were both pretty disappointed. I dont mind paying a high price for a value, but this absolutely was not it. I paid about the same (over $200) for a dinner for 2 a few months ago at DaVincis, and it was worth every cent. We were taken advantage of this night, and we likely wont be back anytime soon.

Whatever you do do not get the sea scallops! Its $40 for five quarter size scallops on a big bed of rice to fill the plate. Five small dry scallops is a total rip off and extremely disappointing as this restaurant truly is great for most everything else i have had over the years and i recommend this place just never get the sea scallops! Stick to anything else on the menu and you will be happy. Hopefully they fix this outrageous mistake or at least add some flavor to the scallops

Dinner was great! I had ordered the crab cakes and chicken empanadas for appetizers. I ordered lamb chops for entree and churro dessert. Flavors were amazing. (That s an understatement.) The meats were so tender and cooked perfectly! The churros were delicious and crispy and so good with the ice cream and ganache. It is expensive but so worth it!

We had dinner here tonight to celebrate my Moms birthday and the food and service was impeccable! Leo and Angel were our servers and they did an amazing job! We ve been here several times and their food is delicious! Service was even better! I think this place is the best restaurant in all of Sugar Land! This place is way better than Perry s steakhouse in Sugar Land!! Highly recommend this place! Oh and their version of the bananas foster dessert was amazing!! Parking: Plenty of free parking!

EXCELLENT!! havent been to Churrascos in years, after the one in Clear Lake closed...sooo sad when that happened. Visiting this time was part of girls outing to Smart Financial Center show. The food was just great, we shared a few starters, and even though the place was packed with several large groups and the buffet was swamped...our service was perfect! I guess the only small negative could be that it was very loud, but with the big groups celebrating engagements, birthdays, etc. noise level would have been impossible to control. So wish Churrascos would reopen a location in the clear lake area, Id be a regular!

Our server Angel was AMAZING! He is very charismatic and exemplifies customer service! We didnt have to ask for anything and he made sure we were well taken care of! I am always impressed by servers that can take orders by memory and that is indeed one of his super powers! It was my husbands birthday and we enjoyed drinks, appetizers and dinner all for under $150! Thwybkickwsnitnofdnwoth plantain chips and two salsas that were fresh and delicious! I cannot remember the name of our drinks, but Angel gave my husband a side of bitters to add to his and that took it to the next level! It was made with limes .. thats all I remember. We had the chicken empanadas (YES!) and the Lobster Bisque (Meh). For entrées we had Churrasco Argentino and the Pollo Azteca! Definitely get those! Angel suggested that we come check out the weekend brunch, so we will definitely do that sometime soon!

I called for one beef one chicken empanada to pick up. Because older lady on the phone says there are two in each order. I get there only to pay $22 for 4? 2 beef empanadas to 2 chicken?
