First time to Tommys. Nice selection of burgers with thick patties. Definitely a good sized burger. The beef comes from Nolan Ryans Good Stock. Tastes great. I had the Blue Angel burger (bleu cheese and bacon). It normally comes with mustard but that seems wrong for Bleu cheese so I subbed mayo. I think next time neither. The Bleu cheese flavor was nice and strong. This was great for lunch. It was a little loud, so slightly hard to hear others in a conversation but if you raise your voices a little, no problem. I will definitely go again sometime.

The burgers were so so good. Ill be returning just for that. We werent a fan of the sides. The fries were really soft. Maybe should have been cooked longer. And the fried pickles were just ok. Nothing to write home about. But thr burgers were fantastic.

This place never disappoints! Took my daughter in when she had a sick day from school, and our waitress went above and beyond for us. Even gave us some complimentary cakes someones mother had made fresh that day (which was beyond amazing), and then to top it off gave us some Souvenirs to go! Support Tommys and give them all the love, not many places like them left!

TLDR: Great food and I recommend. Right out of the box, the waitress (Tori), saved me from ordering a crafted cider I wouldnt drink. I wanted something different so I just named one and she said, Sample it first. Its pretty sweet. All I can say is, Thank you, Tori! I ended up with a Karbachtoberfest. It was great. The pineapple cider does not get my recommendation unless you love fruit juice. FOOD Fries cooked perfectly. I needed to add salt but thats how it should be. If I didnt theyd be too salty for most. And they are obviously cooked when ordered. Give them a minute to cool. The burger was juicy enough to be a greasy burger but not so much that it was nasty to eat. You will need the paper towels though. It was well-seasoned and the purple onions were great. Free cake. For reals. The day I was there it was German Chocolate. It was, satisfactory. Being my favorite cake means Im a little harder on that cake type though. DRINK 24 taps. 6 were brands that would be nationally recognized. The other 18 were mostly local crafted Brews from the metroplex and Texas. I had the Karbachtoberfest mentioned above and another Karbach, Love Streets. Both were great. ATMOSPHERE As I walked up I noticed a chalkboard sandwichboard sitting on the sidewalk with a food related quiz of the day on it. I didnt notice the lady sitting on the sidewalk behind it drawing on the other side. She noticed me and asked me if I knew the answer. I did. It was a bit loud as they were crowded. Conversations and laughter filled the room. Its definitely a place to go with friends. Tori obviously loves working there. I heard her tell the owner she was the best boss ever. The boss was the same lady sitting on the sidewalk in the heat when I walked up. Tori also told me a biti about the history of the place and their different locations. I spent a little bit in there but one could get out for under $20 if you stayed away from the beers. I definitely give this place a recommendation.

Stopped by for lunch with the family and the staff was very accommodating. They quickly put some tables together for the party of 6. Seven was our waited on ua for the most part and was very attentive to our needs. The junkyard burger and hand cut fries were delicios. But the Zuccini fries were handsdown the best Ive ever had! Highly recommend this place!

This was a bit of a drive for us, but man, was it WORTH IT . EVERYTHING we had was good. Everything. Food. Beer. Everything. I cant wait to go back. It was *chefs kiss*. No complaints. We chose this place after googling best burgers near me. They had a 4.7 rating (the highest). They did not disappoint!! The 1/2 lb jalapeno cheeseburger was awesome! We also chose the onion rings. The burger reminded me of the ones I ve had from Kincaid s but if I had to choose between the two I d vote Tommy s for sure. The quality of service and friendliness of everyone working at this location was simply awesome. Good food and exceptional service is harder to find than it should be these days making Tommy s a rare gem. I will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu!

Was recommended this place by a friend, I had just gotten off work and it just so happened to be close by, so we decided to give it a shot. When we walked in, great atmosphere off the bat. You could feel the good vibes this place has even before walking through the door. Travis and his crew were friendly, very chill people. I loved the vibes here and I love how welcomed I felt coming in. Travis was able to explain everything on the menu since it was our first time there, that our cups never emptied, and that we were doing okay throughout our meal. There s not many places where I find myself able to finish all my food, but this place was just that good. I got a bacon cheese burger with fries and tater tots. The burger was juicy, with fresh ingredients, and delicious. Arguably the best burger I ve ever had. The cook knew what they were doing without a doubt. I will be back. The above and beyond service, genuine kindness, and the prices for this kind of quality is unmatched. You won t find this anywhere else. Thank you!

Great place and great food. I would definitely recommend coming. If you have your dog don t even worry they have a bowl for water and a treat all FREE! (For your dog of course) The service was great, very friendly, very nice, cup was almost never empty. Don t even get me started on the food. It was some of the best burgers I ve ever had. All the food came out nice and hot. Their homemade ranch and chips were delicious as well. But don t let me spoil all the great details. Come and try Tommy s yourself.

First visit 6-25-2024 One of the best burgers we have had.. I got a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and wife got a Swiss mushroom burger with fries. Burgers were juicy, not too tall and not too small, just right.. Onion rings were very thick and crispy. I covered mine in Louisiana sauce and dont regret it. Fries seemed they could have been left on just a bit longer, but they were still good. If the burgers were good, I just imagine how good that catfish might be.

I am always impressed when you are greeted as you walk into the door. Especially if there is not a host to seat you because if you are not greeted and just take a seat, you are left wondering if they even noticed you walked in. The restaurant was empty of customers when I got there but within 15 minutes 4 other guests were there. This was a recommendation to me by someone, and I am glad they recommended it. It meets my requirements for a place to also recommend. It was clean inside, extremely attentive but not overbearing staff, and great food. The waiter was polite, walked over, and said hello for the second time to me. We chatted for a minute about their burgers and a few other things while I decided what I wanted. My food was out fast. Its like cooked perfect with fresh leaf lettuce, onions, tomatoes, a grilled bun, and fresh cut fries in probably 4 to 5 minutes. It tasted great, and even when the server had 5 total tables in less than 12 minutes, I never felt neglected he checked on my drink and if I needed anything else. It was the type of service I expected when paying a whole lot more for food than I was going to. I would recommend their burgers and fries because they are good. I havent tried anything else but expect them to also be good.

Food and drinks are good, they will get your food and drinks with a smile. My low review. Im a disabled vet, I walked there from a hotel about a mile away. Uber was not available, and the walk back on cement was a bit intimidating. I asked them to arrange a ride, they responded with you are not my friend, most people here dont drink too much. I made the walk back, to the hotel just fine. I had two beers, I was full but not drunk. Was calling a cab for a guy who is out of town too much to ask, irrelevant to disability? I dont think so, that is why I left a poor review. To be fair, I did not note my disability to the bar tenders, I keep it to myself for the most part. I felt is was relevant to say it in my review so the reader would understand I was sober, and recall me experience well. I do not see why a bartender, would refuse to call a cab/uber/lift..., irrelevant to sobriety.

Let me start off by saying AMAZING! I was torn in between the burger sliders and a regular burger . I decided to go with the sliders paired with the fries with cheese& onions!! I have never been so stuffed and satisfied! The waitress even offered me and my baby brother a slice of their complimentary HOMEMADE cake What a great way to finish off such a great lunch . 10/10 I will be returning soon!

This is our go to place when it comes to eating a great and delicious burger. They use Nolan Ryan beef so the meat is so seasoned and juicy. The B52 burger is a double meat of 1lb greatness. The catfish is also a delight to get. Love the servers that are awesome. If you have not been here you should try it. They do have a bar with many selections of beer on tap.

We have been visiting Tommys for over 20 years. Burgers are always good. However, after our latest visit, I am not sure when we will be back. There really appears to be an upcharge for just about everything. They dont offer a kids menu but we usually have always made do with our kids. However, on our last visit we ordered a single chicken finger for our toddler to munch on. Got the ticket and the charge was $7 for ONE chicken tender. Didnt include a drink or a side or anything, just the single chicken tender. We have ordered a single slider or a single chicken tender for our children several years in the past and its never been that much.

Ordered cheddar poppers to start that were over cooked (very obviously), and all the cheese had leaked out of them. My beer was nice, a peach Shiner, served cold in a clean glass. I ordered the Junkyard with no mushrooms. Basically a burger with everything, bacon, cheese, jalapeno, onion etc. Ordered with tater tots which were crispy, but no seasoning on them. The food came out hot and tasted fresh. The patty unfortunately was not seasoned and the bun fell apart in my hands. I would say the atmosphere is cozy with a man cave vibe. I manage my family s shop down the road from them in white settlement and buy the guys lunch on Fridays. I try to get in there at least twice a month. BLUF: worth a visit . The burgers and great and the atmosphere brings out a relaxing vibe . Management and staff works hard and they are attentive even on a busy day. I dont get it. Sometimes I see good reviews of a place then go and try it and just wonder if the people giving good reviews know what good food is or just give a good review because they dont really care. Or maybe the place is just having a bad day, I get that too. But in this case I see a place averaging about a 4.7 on Google and just dont understand. So Im new to the area, new to Texas in fact so I like to try new places and see whats good and where Id like to eat or take family when they come down. I live out near where Tommys is located so thought Id give it a try based on the reviews and sorry to say but Im nothing but disappointed. I typically just try a basic plain burger, nothing fancy because I want to taste the burger before I taste everything else they put on it to make it taste better. So I had just a burger with bacon and mustard, thats it. And it was bland. Nothing special... in fact pretty much the opposite. My wife had the Blue Angel because everyone raved on it and she said it was very basic and nothing but average at best, nothing shed ever want to go back and get. Unfortunately as bland as the burgers were the fries were even worse. Just bland, little to no seasoning and no taste at all... which is basically what the burgers were. So if youre in the area and you want a basic, bland burger that you could get at any fast food place.... try this place I guess. But if youre looking for a good burger, Im afraid I just didnt get that here.

Usually really good- zucchini fries are (most of the time) super tasty, and the veggie burger is a good substitute for those that, unfortunately, cant eat beef. Word of warning though, definitely dont order if its less than an hour before closing. Ive never had an issue before and food has always been tasty- but a few weeks ago I had called about half an hour before closing and asked if it was too late to place a to-go order. Was told it was fine and proceeded to order 4 dinners. My zucchini fries were about half the quantity I usually receive, and only 3 were full sized- they were also way overcooked. One of the cheeseburgers had no cheese and my veggie burgers bun was sorta bent? Idk- Ill chock it up to an off experience, as Ive never had an experience like that before and will definitely still go back as the food is normally a very good quality. Burgers were great! Onions rings were delicious. Service was fantastic because they got our 3 y/o something to color with. Only disappointment was that I asked for a to-go box twice and never got one. Only ate half my burger and our toddler may have eaten 2 bites of his chicken fingers. Hate to waste good food but we had to go!

Aaaaaamazing service. We were given the option of a free app as it was our first time there, so we chose the cheddar poppers they were great but the temperature of the sun. For our mains we went jalapeño burger and the burger salad, came out super fast. Huge Patty s, really juicy and all the fixings were great! Our server even brought out a fillet of catfish afterwards as we were talking about trying it next time. Only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because we were sat outside with the dog on our own. But we will be returning here and I d 100% recommend if you re near by or even if you re not

Question: Being from Pensacola, FL who grew up watching the Blue Angels, is your burger named after the USN Blue Angels? Best burger (Junkyard Burger) I have had in a long time. Well worth the cost. We were also able to taste test the rotating stock of local brews. I didnt get the cuties name who waited on us, but he was really sweet and attentive to us two old ladies!! Vegetarian options: Wasnt looking for this option but several vegetarian options were on the menu. Parking: Street level. Parking is mall parking along with curb side parking in front. Easily accessible. Good handicap access.. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level, wheelchair and rolator accessible. 2 curb side handicap spots. Door is within +-20 from curb side parking.

We were ordering for a 4 and 6 year old, in the restaurant, they peppered+garlic+spiced+mustard the burger as if they were adults. They could have asked, what do you want on your burger at least? I ordered a plain turkey burger and instead it had everything on it, waiter said, thats just how they make them. Very little consideration for context/client

First time customer and will DEFINITELY be returning! Frog fries were soooo delicious and the perfect appetizer for an empty stomach. I got the jalapeno burger with fries and an Oktoberfest beer. Everything was so amazing I cant wait to try their other burgers.

it was just ok for me. Burger was pretty tasty but I opted to substitute zucchini/cheddar poppers for fries and got upcharged 3.99. I could understand if it was a basket of Zucchini in place of fries but it was 3 little sticks and couldnt taste the zucchini, only batter. I got 2 poppers (which is what I expected because the waitress told me) but they were not good. In fact, they were quite mushy. Probably would not return as nothing stood out. Oh and the restroom was out of toilet paper.

The BEST burger around!!! They use Nolan Ryan beef for their burgers. It s always so freaking good from the 1st bite. The service is excellent. And if your craving fish add a catfish filet on the side. You won t be disappointed. We love the bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions. Just order it you won t be disappointed.

Burger was good, you can taste the quality in the meat. The fries were pretty bland. They could benefit from adding some type of seasoning or coming up with some unique fry sauce to add some flavor to them. It was also odd that this is a sit down restaurant. There is really no reason why this couldn t be a fast casual restaurant. With that being said, the service we received was good.

Maverick is so cool! Loved the food and the service! I highly recommend the junkyard burger! The only thing it was missing was a fried egg! I got the slim, THANK GOD! I left them a wall decoration from a charity auction I just attended yesterday... Ill be back to see where they hung it! Parking: There was more of a table shortage than parking shortage. Where do I begin First off, we walked in right before closing time so I mentioned we could order to go and they still offered for us to sit down and eat. They have a large selection of beers on tap! My wife is vegetarian and I m a carnivore and we were both able to get burgers of our liking. Food came out fast and was super delicious! I had the bacon Brie burger and it was honestly the best burger I ve ever had. Our server (wish we got her name!) was amazing and treated us so well the entire time. Will DEFINITELY being going back often!

I wrote the previous review 4 years ago and I do love the food there. My husband went by there today to a business nearby it was all decorated for Pride month. Why couldn t you just stick to serving really good burgers and leave all that out? Why do all this? It going to be a very long time if ever I go back.
