Had the beef and lamb gyro, it hit just the spot, sauce was creamy, meat was good, and the bread was soft. Honestly one of the best gyro experiences Ive had. Fries were also crispy. Food came out looking like it belonged in a commercial. 10/10 would recommend for a great spot to hang out, they have their own outdoor seating as well which makes it even better

Delicious food! They ve now added fried chicken wings to the menu and they are SO yummy! Everyone ate some, even our 1-year-old! Delicious, fresh, and most importantly- delicious! Nice variety of items as well. Even our kids have options, which is nice if you have young, picky eaters. Definitely a fave spot now!

First and last time going here do not recommend this place to anyone. I was discriminated due to the color of my skin food was burnt, no seasoning or flavor, and I found what looked to be a strand of hair in my food. The owner Muhammad is a nice man. He was very personable and is receptive to his customers feedback. Thats why he stays in business, he says. And yes the food is exceptional. Had a long discussion about how the fries are top notch, but the lamb + beef over rice is my favorite. Highly recommend this food truck first in Moosa Colony.

$14 for a gyro not made with any care. Bland rice, hardly any white sauce, hardly any meat, no cut up pieces of pita pieces as pictured. I ordered a combo chicken and lamb over rice and got only LAMB. Lastly, the lady was rude and gave no utensils until I asked her for them twice. Ridiculous. Do better !

10/10 the best gryo wrap Ive ever had, I felt like I was on a different planet no exaggeration. I also got the mixed lamb and chicken platter with extra white and red sauce and it was fantastic. Even the fries were a 10/10, crispy on the outside and thick as well. Overall incredible experience, food was made super fast too. Cant wait to come back here again, definitely one of my favorite food trucks.

They have terrible communication. This place doesnt not open when they say they will. They are flaky and have wasted our time over and over again not opening when they say they will. Tried chicken over rice today. Got togo box full of rice, one spoon of lettuce hidden under rice. Still looking for the chicken. Advertised $9.99 charged me $10.99 and wasn t giving the drink that comes with my order. I had to remind him of the drink. Which he said he only had hot. And handed a room temp can.

First time visiting the truck was excited to see what they had to offer, I ordered two plates: One beef & lamb over rice also a chicken over rice, the person who took my order did inform me that it would take about 15-20min to prep my order since he was making fresh rice. No problem 30 mins went by I watch two separate customers order and receive their food before me. That s fine no issue, but when I got my food and looked to make sure I had the correct order. I realized it was chicken tenders (fried) chopped up and served over rice. I do understand that everyone has their own way of making chicken over rice but I have never had it with fried chicken? I went back to the window to ask just for clarification of their usual and customary chicken over rice and the man did confirm it is normally made with grilled chicken. So I am not understanding where fried chicken tenders came from? The food was corrected but I m still a little perturbed as to why you would assume I would want fried chicken, why not one have that as a menu item or better yet clarify and ask me when I m placing my order if you others have ordered it like that before.

This was our first time trying their lamb and beef over rice which was recommended by the gentleman who took our order but it was not good at all. They served their rice with gyro meat and it was not beef and lamb over rice. You need to be up front with the customers and don t just give your item different a name to make it attractive. He also asked if we wanted spicy or mild we asked for spicy but there was no spice.We also had the chicken over rice which was okay but also not spicy at all.

I have been searching for a gyro place like the one you am an buy in the street of New York. I have tried several spots here in Houston and nothing came close until I tried Sizzling Gyro Houston. When I was looking for the address, I have passed it seceral time be ause I was looking for a restaurant. I pulled at a parking lot and there it was the Sizzling Gyro food truck! I was like will they really fix my gyro craving or will it disappoint like the other place I have tried??? I said to myself, lets give it a try since you are already here. I ordered the chicken and beef combo plate, they ran out of rice so I said just give me the pita bread on the side and the sauce. I did not want my pita soaked in the sauce by the time I eat it at home. When I got home I was very excited in anticipation of what it would taste.....BAM!!!!! It took me back to the sidewalks of NY City after the first bit. I remember this was the flavors I have been searching for 5 years since moving down here. It is now my new gyro spot here in Houston. I love it so much that I had to write a review to share my experience! Sizzling Gyro Houston is a must try! They are located in the heart of Montrose. Close to interesting shops, antiques, arts, and boutiques.

While our stay in Houston, we were looking for Halal guys when came across this gyro truck(This truck is just at the back of Halal guys location). Thought to give it try as had halal guys many times. Guy was supper friendly, we ordered chicken over rice along with hummus. While our food was getting ready he gave(Free) crispy & fresh french fries to my 8 years old son. Chicken was well cooked & taste was awesome, my only concern is portions. Portion size was on smaller side.

They just moved to their new location on Holcombe so decided to check it out. Its fabulous! We got a chicken and a beef/lamb gyro, each comes with fries for 8 dollars. Really good value, pita is fluffy and the meat well seasoned. Overall great value and a very solid wrap. Definitely worth the stop.

Man everything on this menu is A1. The service is A1 like any other restaurant you wait a few minutes and get your food. Dont even get me started on presentation, the food is packed almost to the brim of your container (great portions) and isnt lacking in any way (not enough chicken, not a lot of rice. My favorites the chicken and beef over rice add pita bread its like you get a gyro and a meal for the price of one, but dont tell them that lol; but you cant go wrong with anything else on the menu. Great food, great service, would recommend. Oh also healthy!

He always tells me to wait but never takes my order. Both times I have gone there is a line of people complaining about their orders not being right.
