Dirty, no towels in restroom, no ice in the ice machine. Dirty trays from other customers left on table. Wait for food far too long. No one was paying attention and we watched 4 customers who came after us get their orders filled ahead uf us. The chicken sandwich did not have nearly enough mayo. This was my attempt at turning a friend onto Popeyes. Major disappointment!

I was overcharged and didnt even get what I ordered. I ordered the 16 piece with 3 sides and 8 biscuits for $47.99. My sides were 2 Mac and cheese and 1 red beans and rice. Instead of getting the red beans, I got mashed potatoes. Even after verifying the red brans twice because I was asked twice. They still got it wrong. You can see on the receipt. Large red beans. I got mashed potatoes. Then, the 3 sides were a part of the $47.99 price, but I was charged .50 per side for 2 of the sides. On the receipt, you can see the .50 charge for the 2 sides. This is not the first time. Even when I send my employees to get food for my staff to eat. They had issues with getting what we ordered. Also, when you point out, your order is wrong. Popeyes staff gets an attitude.

I ve always been a fan of Popeyes, but my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. Since when did asking for a small packet of BBQ sauce cost $1 per packet?! I understand inflation, but this is just ridiculous. A single sauce packet shouldn t cost as much as a side item. I hope Popeyes corporate reevaluates their franchises because these kinds of charges make the company look greedy and bad. Get it together before you lose loyal customers!

Very poor first time experience at this location. Ordered a family meal that came with 4 biscuits. Got home, biscuits missing from my bag. Everyone was standing around talking and socializing so there was time to check my order. Also ordered the wings and they were so small and shriveled up. The manager here is the rudest ! She refused to give me a side of pickles because they don t sell pickles even though plenty of other locations have always given me a side of pickles when asked. I am a paying customer and it s not like I was asking for a free meal, just asking for a couple of pickles to eat with my meal. When calling the location I asked to speak to another manager and she shouted what do you want?!! once again, just RUDE. Not sure how she landed this job if this is how she treats customers . Not only did she refuse to give me pickles or provide good customer service but she also forgot to give me my sauces which is super inconvenient when you re on a time crunch during lunch break. Had to return and get off, which just defeats the purpose of buying my food through their drive through. Lola is apparently this managers name. Lola fix your attitude honey.

This location used to be good, but has gone way down in service and quality recently. The menu says that all combos come with a biscuit, but I was then informed that my sandwich combo doesn t come with a biscuit. When I asked why not, they just told me that the menu is now incorrect . You truly have to ask these people to give you fresh fried tenders and chicken. Its not in the food language that any person wants to eat cool to cold chicken from lil trays and light that isnt keeping the food hot to the establishment? Get food educated on the fact that if you want to firstly eat any meats hot and fresh do you not?. Control the nats flying around the trash can get better tasting sodas offer more lemonades and teach the staff order. If I was in line 3 customers before you dont serve the last 3 before me or is that a prejudice situation because Im black that could be assumed. Get together and serve hot food no one should buy your cold tenders and your cold chicken and have fresher biscuits.I will come back and see if Im impressed. Thanks

Negative disgusting location. The lady who took my order in the drive through was plain rude and o could hear her saying why I have to be so damn complicated. First of all I had two children telling me what the wanted. I did the drive through today. I m pretty upset. They forgot one whole kids meal, didn t give sauces or the applesauce off the other kids meal and the food was horrible. I couldn t eat it, my kids were upset at the quality and didn t want to eat it either. I threw the food away. I can be picky but I understood that I was getting fast food but this was dry, over cooked, over salted. Chicken was strange in color like kind of pink rubbery and semi translucent but I know it wasn t raw it was really dry almost like chicken jerky. The macaroni was just one glob and my one year old son will usually eat any macaroni but he spit this out. The coleslaw was off color (kind of browning). The biscuit was very dry and not what I remember from Popeyes. I was concerned we would get sick . So I threw it all out which makes me feel terrible I hate wasting food. I haven t had Popeyes in a while and thought I d give it a try when I was in a rush to get the kids fed. I m irritated that they seemed to purposely forget my receipt at the drive through so I can t even show proof that they forgot an entire meal. I will not return.

Each time I visit this location (which is frequently), I leave feeling very upset and under valued. The food is okay, but the customer service is trash! I believe that asking for what I want on my order is acceptable, especially considering the fact that I am spending my hard earned money on the items being bought. Apparently asking for less thighs on my order is a problem. I don t understand why I have to pay extra for less thighs on my orders. This is the only location that has been problematic in terms of giving me what I ask for. On a separate occasion, I placed an online order at this location and went to pick it up shortly afterwards, however, upon arriving the doors were locked and I was told to come back in thirty minutes to pick up my order because they were having issues with the police. So, I decided to pick up my other food items from nearby just to pass time. After, giving them at least an hour to get my food ready, I returned to Popeyes only to find out that my order still wasn t ready! So they prepared my order and I proceeded to my car to check it and make sure it was right. Luckily, I did because I was missing several pieces of chicken from my order. I immediately took the order back inside and explained to the manager what was wrong with my order. So, by then I was upset because at this point, I waited over and hour to get my food and then the order was still incorrect, so I asked that they comp my order. The manager said NO and offered me a drink!! I was shocked by what happened next! The worker open the box of chicken and preceded to throw out a piece of my chicken (a thigh) into the trash, so asked her why did she do that and she replied you don t want thighs right! At that point, I was like you don t want to comp my order or give me extra chicken for waiting but yet you throw perfectly fine chicken in the trash!! So, then she finally puts my missing chicken back in my box and says I don t know what you want me to do!! After that, I left and since then I have been going to other locations where I am valued as a person and as a customer!

I have been coming to the Sugarland location since they open, the food was always hot and fresh, customer service excellent. Since Management changed, the customer service sucks. Management have attitude, not friendly at all. The food is always cold. My ghost wings was full of uncooked batter, my biscuit was ice cold, the honey didnt melt. I couldnt eat it, threw it all away, waist of my money. I will never return to this Popeyes until they change Management. Check your order before leaving or you will be missing some of your order. Its worth a drive up the street to the next location. Trust you will be disappointed if you eat at the Sugarland off 59 and Sweetwater location.

4/142023 1:10 pm just left from this Popeyes which I eat here every once in a while, a little more regular now but today was the only time I had a problem. Not sure who the lady is up front that took my order, but the approach from the start was off and when I ordered my usual because they didnt have the fish sandwich which was fine I can tell the energy was off with her because the next customer received a smile and a playful mood. I specifically ask her 2 times for light seasoning on my naked strips and when I received them you can see how dark they were with to much seasoning. She told me thats how they are and Ive come here plenty times before so I know they can do it is what I told her. You can tell she was a bit upset after but she continued to walk back and make them. When she finally gave me my order, as I bit into them you can see that the tenders was not cooked all the way and still a little raw. I politely just got up, and left. This is why I am writing this review. I hope they at least have a talk with her.

Updated review: While this location is still better than many other ones, it was kind of a pain today to have to drive all the way back - when noticing they gave me a no mayo chicken sandwich. Other than that, the rest of the order was correct. Also, the chicken didn t seem as great this time. Somewhat chewy. Not very crunchy or fresh at all.

I ordered 5 piece spicy chicken stip meal around 7:10pm tonight. Plus large mashed and large red beans & rice. Took it home immediately. The chicken was cold and past its holding time. Chewy and gristle. Inedible. I didnt get the small mashed thats supposed to come with the meal. The 2 large sides were fine. Disappointed in the chicken Quality. Hopefully next time the quality would be better. My first time at this popeyes.
