I first visited Chefika a couple of weeks ago with work colleagues for lunch. We all enjoyed our meals and service and thought it was well-priced for the quality and quantity. This evening I ordered take out for my husband and myself and noticed the item prices were much higher than they were during lunch (halloumi appetizer $18.20 vs. $12, grilled salmon entrée $31.20 vs. $16). I figured the lunch portions were probably smaller than the dinner portions. However, when our food arrived the dinner portion sizes appeared to be pretty much the same as what Id had for lunch. Also the delivery didnt come with the complimentary mezes that I was served at lunch (which were delicious). Since I ordered via a 3rd party delivery Im not sure how much of this is a dinner markup vs. a convenience markup. All-in-all we paid nearly the same for a dinner for two that Id paid for a lunch for 6. Again, really enjoy the food, but will probably stick to lunch service!

This place looked promising but when we got there even though it was mostly empty it too a long time to get anyone to take our order. Even when we did order we didn t get napkins until we almost finished the food. Dips were delicious but served without pita bread. Could be so much better. Hope that these are growing pains

Food was decent Turkish food. (If you have had it before).nothing to go crazy over. The bread they gave as appetizers was stale/hard. We sat outside bc we didn t have reservations, we enjoyed it. It was not so hot. But what really turned me off was the waiters attitude. He ignored us, showed an attitude while taking our order, by giving us our food, and when giving us our bill. The chef who was outside talking to his friends had to tell him that we were done by observing us. We still tipped bc it s the right thing to do.

I like the genuine attempt and effort of the place. The appetizers all look very good. We had one and it was nice. Ive been to several Turkish restaurants and they will usually offer a sampler so you can enjoy a mixture of many of these items. After that everything else was average. Soup was served cold. Lamb was under cooked. Wine was not great. Mid 20s for chicken skewers. Im sure it will do well with the older crowd who like to lounge and talk all night.

We had a great experience! Stellar service in a really comfortable atmosphere. The real star, though, is the food. I lived in Turkey for years, and these flavors are delicious and authentic. I highly recommend the spicy ezme appetizer; Beyti Kebab entree; and either baklava, kunefe, or kazandabi for dessert. All authentic dishes and all are yummy.

Wow. What a fantastic find! This is a wonderful spot at Preston Hollow Village. The Salmon Khabab was outstanding. The lamb is fresh and melts in your mouth. The outside patio was delightful even in the middle of a hot summer night in August. You must try the deserts. They are Turkish delicacies and will not disappoint. Trust me on this one. Date night. This place has been open just a week as of August 14 and it seems to be popular already! We stopped in for a little anniversary dinner and really enjoyed the food and drinks. My spouse and I love lamb, so we ordered the lamb meatballs, lamb rack, and shish kebab. All were so good and flavorful. We also ordered the Cyprus and Pistachio Martini cocktails! They also give you bread and pita for the table that were delicious. It was a perfect amount of food if you re hungry! I can see us becoming regulars here - We will be back to try more!

Run don t walk to this new restaurant. It s only been open close to two weeks and it already has repeat customers. That tells you , with all the restaurants in Dallas , how good this place is. Beautiful atmosphere and love that the owners were actually the hosts and walk around the tables and talk to their Customers. This is the place to go to try new dishes that you probably have never had prepared the way they prepare them. I had the most incredible steak shish kebab and the meat was so tender. The prices are fantastic for the quality of food you get. It was a wonderful experience and I ll definitely be going Back soon. The only thing I would hope to see with them in the future is a great happy hour. Maybe they haven t in the work since they re only a few weeks open . They have a beautiful bar area and it would Wonderful place to have a neighborhood hang out

There are not enough accolades for this new restaurant. My bestie and I shared appetizers and dessert. The food is so fresh and flavorful, you can tell they pay attention to detail. The cocktails were cool and refreshing, opening your experience to familiar names but with a Turkish twist. I have never had desserts like this, they are not on the menu yet, but do go walk to the display case and view for yourself. Chefika is so good I went back two days later with a different group of friends. You should treat your self to a wonderful dining experience, with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant is named after their mother and she would be so proud of her family.

Had an amazing dinner here at the bar. They bring fresh bread and 2 condiments on the house which were very good. Great drinks. We started with the charred eggplant which was smoky and creamy. The greek salad had very fresh lettuce/tomatoes/cucumber with a light vinaigrette. The bartender recommended the grilled Branzino and it was by far the best we have ever tasted. Walked and instantly noticed how bright and clean it was. I was seated and waited on promptly. I started with a couple dips & pita that were delicious. Then I had the beef kabob. It was one of the best steaks I remember having in Dallas! Later the Chef Tony was out of the kitchen and checking on tables. He stopped by mine, and was extremely nice and caring of my experience. Let me start with this, I am probably going to be a regular here! To start off, we got the Sucuk and Cheese and Sigara Borek, and my wife and I had to fight over who was going to eat all of what, because it was amazing! The Chefika burger was very juicy as well as tender. The feta and caramelized onions just set the burger off even more. If you want a little advice, get extra feta on the burger. :) I got the Hangar steak kebab and it was extremely tender where I didn t even need a knife for some of it. The rice was cooked to perfection, leaving it nice and fluffy but still moist. The service was alittle slow, but that is expected with any new restaurants. The ambiance truly made me feel like I was in a Mediterranean wonderland. From the decor to the guitar music. Excellent atmosphere!

We visited on the second day of official opening, so we did not expect things to be perfect. The food was fantastic and is what will bring us back. Service was a bit spotty and this is where I imagine things will improve with time and experience. They didn t seem to recognize we had made a reservation and specifically for a booth. The first booth we were seated at was not cleaned fully. We had a bit of a long wait to place an order. Our water glasses were never refilled. No one asked me if I wanted to order a second drink, which I would have liked to do. We indicated in the reservation that we were celebrating a special occasion, but no one mentioned/acknowledged that. The food as I said before was great. We had the beetroot hummus (had to ask for pita as none was provided when delivered), shrimp garlic, sigara borek, girit mucveri, and the grilled salmon. All quite delicious. The space is beautiful and not too loud, which is a welcome relief compared to many other places. We share this feedback with love as we hope Chefika continues to improve and prosper.

Chefika is a brand new Mediterranean place and soon will be very popular. We have ordered Girit Ezme, Muhammara and shrimp garlic for the start and all were very tasty appetizers. We have ordered Hunkar Be endi, Köfte skender with extremely delicious tomato sauce, Grilled Branzino definitely a good choice for fish lovers and Adana Kebab where they do not use mince meat from market but prepared by chef with special efforts.
