The food is sour!! The souce feels moldy! The chicken has nasty smell!! And this my first time I taste acidic koslow!! We couldnt eat it! Very bad experience and i regret spending money there!! We ordered brisket loaded fries and it was very bad so we ask to change it with chicken loaded fries and it was worst!! And i had SEVERE Diarrhea after 30 minutes!!!!!

Our first visit to this restaurant was met with high hopes after reading positive reviews. Although we found the prices on the higher side, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. The fried chicken took over 20 minutes to be served, and when it finally arrived, we were deeply disappointed. The chicken was overcooked and so tough that it was nearly inedible. The chicken in the Texas sandwich was similarly unappealing burnt to the point of being black, resulting in a bitter taste. Considering the higher prices, we were surprised that no sides were included with our meal. While the staff was polite and well-mannered, the overall quality of the food left much to be desired. Sadly, the experience did not match the positive reviews we had read, and we left feeling truly disappointed.

It was my 1st time here with a hamkering for fried chicken...saw the Google map reviews and figured I would try it. The atmosphere was nice, very relaxing music, very clean and organized. The service was good. I saw other people being served and they seemed to be pleased with the interactions. I could see the dine in presentation for the meals was meticulously done and very aestheticallly pleasing. The prices were higher than I expected for the portion size.. $18 for half pound of brisket... $18 for half chicken only...no sides.. $4.25 to add one side and med drink. Maybe because it was a halal menu.. The fried half chicken I had was dry and over fried. The wait was almost 30 min... would have been appropriate to let me know how long the order should be when I ordered ...maybe even offer me a fountain drink for the long wait. The place wasnt busy at all. I will continue looking for a go to fried chicken spot in the area. Dietary restrictions: Serves a Halal menu.

Didnt have what I actually wanted, so had to choose something else, the tenders were extremely over cooked and inedible, the burger was greasy and tasteless, the fish and chips were soggy and gross. This place needs to hire more people. I waited 25 minutes for my food and saw one person hustling between the kitchen and the customers... The soda machine was off too... The drinks tasted so bad.

First bite of my sandwich was delicious. Texas toast was toasted perfectly. The chicken was crisp and so juicy. Absolutely delicious. Went for my second bite when I saw a ROACH on my plate! Never again. Absolutely disgusted. I was so hungry. Got a refund and appetite lost. Do not reccomend.

Wanted to try places closer to home so this was my first stop. The service was great, even received some recommendations that I may come back amd try. The atmosphere was sort of muggy/humid, I think theyd just recently cleaned a leak which would likely explain it. However, I ordered the Nashville hot wings, wasnt sure of the actual name, but the wing version of the hot chicken. I tried mild to be on the safe side. The wings although crispy on the outside didnt quite do it for me. The seasoning was dusted on the wings, and the inside didnt taste as fresh. I stopped eating halfway through, I couldnt finish them. The quality didnt match the price. Overall not a bad experience just not my cup of tea.

Do not go here!!! Every time you call and ask for take away, they never have any food available. What s the point of opening a restaurant if you don t have the food that s supposed to be on the menu. We wanted to eat some fried chicken and we just randomly googled and this place popped up on our search and we just went to try it. It was relatively quiet and not many people when we went there. It was Mothers day so we decided to go to places where not many people would take their moms. The place has Dickies bbq and Fried chicken options. We did not want the BBQ so stayed true to ordering half a bird and we stayed on the mild side. We got a cheesesteak (fantastic recommendation by the guy at the counter) Chicken sandwich and mac n cheese. The order does take 15-20 minutes but worth the wait as it was one of the best fried chickens I have eaten in a very long time. It was temperature hot and did take us a while to eat but it was juicy and not at all dry. A Perfect fried chicken. The Cheesesteak was also amazing and pretty big. The chicken sandwich was also good and possibly could be shared like the cheesesteak. The dipping sauce was very different and had a yummy taste. We also ordered the fried okra. Definitely, we will be back here and most likely will try the spicier chicken. Great Job Guys. We truly did leave satisfied.

The location is nice and easy to get to. Plenty of parking, so no worries. The building and buildings around it look nice. Inside the store looked nice, clean, and organized. The food menu has plenty on it. I ordered the three meat plate, proportions were well. The food tasted great, no complaints on the chicken, brisket, and turkey. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. I would definitely recommend the place for everyone to try. Definitely would return.

We got the chicken club sandwhich, brisket sandwhich, wings, and so much more two days ago. We spent about 75 dollars on everything but the food quality was not worth the price. Sadly there was no chicken in the chicken club sandwhich, they cooked the wings in old oil and the brisket sandwhich had no taste whatsoever as well as there was too much fat. We asked for a refund for the club sandwhich unfortunately they said theyll remake it the next day as we had called after closing hour. we went the next day and they remade it when we got home they barely put any chicken and mayo spread on the sandwhich. If I can go back in time I would not have gotten anything from this restaurant ever again as it is a ripoff. Im never coming back here nor would I recommend anyone to eat here as it has gone down in services, food quality and the amount you get for the money spent.

I am from out of town and went to the website and ordered my meal. I was then contacted by door dash that they were at the restaurant taking care of my order. I then received a call from door dash support saying the restaurant couldn t find my order and cancelled my delivery. I then called the restaurant who told me that because I ordered online and there is some sort of spat between owners, they are not fulfilling orders placed online, even though when I called, they are representing themselves as Dickey s BBQ Pit. Then the final kicker was the person on the phone said, they can t guarantee I will get a refund, which I have not gotten up to this point. I don t care if you re having internal spats, you took my money, represent yourself as the restaurant listed and took my money!!! This is beyond unethical and I would tell anyone who asks, not to eat here, they stole my money and told me to basically f-off, I can t even imagine the care and love they must put into their food FYI, KBS Hot Chicken is the same place!!!

This location has both KBs and Dickeys Texas toast sando - one of the better hot chicken sandwiches of the many that have opened up in the last few years. Got the mild which still has a bit of a kick (I am weak). Good flavor overall! Slaw and sauce give it a crunch. Bread is toasted well. 5 stars. Dickys 2 meat platter - its definitely a middle of the road BBQ. The brisket was nice and fatty and would melt well, but it tasted a bit bland without sauce. Needed better seasoning. The sausage tasted like store bought hot dog. Mac and cheese and fries were decent. 3 stars.

KB hot chicken is the best Zabihah Halal place in Houston period. The price the portion is really amazing the atmosphere is trendy and new. Food was fantastic, we went for lunch. Portions are great, quality is also great, cooked fresh and delicious! A bit pricey, but it will be the only meal we eat for the day. ( 2 Combos totalled $33) I ordered Hot, it was perfect for me, but was too hot for my husband, so maybe start milder if its your 1st time. Would be a regular there if it were slightly less expensive, but will go back.

Had a chance to go to KBs hot chicken and Dickys pit. Excellent biskets and chicken club sandwiches. Meat was very tender, juicy and flavorful. Sandwiches were tasty there fried chicken is also very delicious didnt try this time but had in the past. Vegetarian options: Mash potatoes, green beans, Cole slaw and Mac cheese

It was a very bad experience today. I tried the burger brisket it was good but the wings are the worst that I have ever got. They were full of oil (came swimming in brown oil in the plate). I used a lot of napkins to dry them from oil uselessly. My order was not spicy and no hot sauce but the order came so spicy with hot sauce. When I asked the guy there if this is really the oil, he told me yes with careless.

This is a first time we visited this joint and after entering you can feel the energy by the colorful ambiance. Service was excellent, they have all kind of food items so the whole family can enjoy here. We are a foodie couple from chicago, love to go good places and this is one of them. If you want halal than this is the place. It s all halal. I never seen Ribs and briskets halal any where but they have it. We would for sure come back. I want to try their breakfast too. In Google search while trying to find a Descent American style Halal diner, we came across this place KB Chicken. The reviews and the menu item photos looked descent, and so we decided to go check it out. Well what can I say, in my 5 years in Houston after we left the food Haven Chicago and had given up any home of quality sandwich, this place turned out to be the gem we had found! The Brisket Philly cheese sandwich and the Chicken Classic Sando sandwich with their fries and close slow were just the best i have had yet. I am definitely going back to this place. The owner is just the most polite man you will meet. The ambiance of the patio where we sat and ate was awesome. 5 stars from me. A place you must go Check out.

2 stars: 40 minute wait for fried chicken while Im the only customer. Took so long the Mac and cheese was cold when it finally came out. The chicken was dry and had 2 too many layers of breading. Also, the air conditioning could be a bit stronger. All in all wont be back. It was clean though. Just no reason to go back.

This place has amazing halal brisket, and all the items we tried were fresh, and delicious. They serve breakfast on weekends with an omelet, etc. The family brisket platter had a juicy tender brisket that we all enjoyed. The chicken tender for the child portion was equally good. The latcha paratha (like Malayisian style) with the omelet was equally delicious. May Allah subhanautAllah bless their business for serving delicious food.
