Got panchos to go and we re $18 and some cents for nachos! The meat was very salty. I don t like putting negative reviews however the $18 bill for only nachos and no drink was a huge turn off. Vermillion down the street the panchos are huge and bigger order than this place and cheaper. Not sure where these people came up with charging $18 for a small order of nachos. I enclosed photo to show the nachos did not fill the to go plate.

For a long time they were my favorite taqueria, in fact I have not found another flavor that surpasses yours, the only bad thing is that they put less and less meat, especially in the barbacoa ones, to the point of eating a taco in one bite, that It was what made me withdraw from you, I havent been going for almost four months... and I dont think I will go there anymore.

Second time here. I walked in, and it smelled like a meat market. There were some pesky flies in the establishment. I decided to give the food a try, so I ordered the tortilla de Harina with bistek. 1st time at this place and was not very impressed, the meat was overcooked, just about everything was soaked in gallons of oil it seemed like and tacos were so tiny. Not only that, the music was overwhelming, the dining room was crowded, and the staff was inexperienced. The staff was so inexperienced that they charged the table next to me, their meal and ours. And when we came to pay, they were confused, and they charged us again for the table next to us and ours. We asked management to fix the other tables payment but said it is what it is, we expressed to them it was robbery, and they replied the same. We dont recommend this restaurant to anyone but if you do, make sure youre paying for your meal and not anybody elses, because the staff there wont check for you.

This was my go to place for tacos. I dont know what happened but the customer service went from 100 to 0 on my books. Placed an order over the phone and made me pay over the phone first time they do that btw. What ever i pay for it when i get there all the employees scrambled away from the counter. One of them was quick to ask if i had paid already, any way they practically tossed my food at me and i was missing half my order. One of the girls asked me if i needed something so i told her i was missing half my order she just gave me a drink and walked away so i stood there again till my order was finally given to me. I drove from san benito when i get home of course my order was wrong. Very disappointing i used to recommend this place to all my friends not anymore

Meat is well seasoned and of good quality. Perfectly made to order and agua frescas are alos refreshing. I also strongly recommend to get the house-made yogurt, the queso (strawberry cheesecake) is the best one. Very delicious.

El servicio al cliente es de lo mas feo. Los meseros y cajeros no son personas amables ni entrenadas. Te dan la comida como se les da la gana, especialmente si es para llevar. Nunca resuelven nada. The food is very good but the service and customer service is horrible. I always have to return my order because they make it wrong, since they finally make it properly, the food is very good. I was having a very long day.. stopped by this shop on my way home.. didn t know what to expect but I must say that it was worth my time. The service was excellent!! The tacos were top notch!! I m Jamaican so I know what good flavor should be! Omgggg!! These tacos were the bomb!!!! And red and green sauce were absolutely amazing!! And within 5 minutes I was out of there! When I went to pay I requested my receipt since I always make sure I don t get scammed the guy said he had already closed the tab so I waited for him to find it. Turns out he found it and gave me back my change because he had over charged me. still didn t get my full change back but I guess they need it more to keep lying to people. Also one of the waitresses went around being too touchy with the waiters while he was taking our order and grabbed his private part and he got kind of embarrassed. I went to this restaurant twice. The first time everything was good, but I got sick. I decided to give them another try. When I received my tacos (the second time) as soon as the server set them on my table, I picked up a sour smell. The meat had a very overwhelming smell of rotten. I called the server and let them know. They took it back to the kitchen and stated the meat they used was still up to date. I told them I didnt want them and I wouldnt be paying for them. I just paid for my agua fresca and left.

A hidden treasure this place. Order fajita, pastor and tripa tacos. The three of them were very rich. The food came out quickly and the waiters attention was excellent. Like that you can purchase individual tacos so that you may try any of the meats . Instead of having to buy a combo and all the same meats . Tacos are cheap starting from $1.00 to 1.35 each one which is pretty good . Not a fan of the flavor of the meats nor the beans . Also the only hard working person was some man, a very hard worker that was making sure the customers didnt have to wait long for their meals. While the girls stood around just talking and laughing didnt bother to clean the tables knowing us people where waiting to sit. Just stood and looked at one another like Its not my table nor my turn .. wont go back

First time here, have no regrets. Oliver our server was great from the get go; he did all he could to seat all our party together. In addition to having great food, their fresh waters are delicious and the flour tortillas are my favorite. The tacos and sopes go without saying! You also have to try their ice creams whether they are water-based or milk-based, both are very delicious. Lets start with the flour tortillas, they are simply exceptional. They really are to delight and enjoy every bite. The tacos and sopes are a true delight at Taquería La Villa. Authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The tacos are hearty and flavorful, and the sopes have a texture and flavor that make them truly special. Each dish is full of authenticity and seasoning, and definitely left me wanting to try more. The cool waters are a true refreshing delight. They are the perfect complement to a delicious meal and help you relieve itching and thirst. And last but not least, the ice cream. I cant recommend enough that you try their ice creams. They are smooth, creamy and full of authentic flavors. Every spoonful is a real treat and a perfect ending to an incredible meal. In short, Taquería La Villa is a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Mexican food. Their flour tortillas, tacos, sopes, fresh waters and ice creams are exceptional. This was our first visit to this restaurant. The waitress was friendly, greeting us at the door. She patiently answered our questions as we decided what to order. I ordered the tacos al pastor, which were the special of the day at 99 cents each. My brother ordered the flauta plate and a tostada. The food arrived in a timely manner. The tacos were well filled with meat and were very tasty. The waitress was attentive and stopped occasionally without being intrusive to see if we needed anything else. While we liked the tejano music they were playing, we thought it was a bit too loud. We went on a Saturday afternoon just before 4. The restaurant has ten tables with four chairs each. Only one table was occupied when we arrived but quickly started filling up by 4:30. The restaurant looked clean and had a nice decor with a beautiful mural on one wall. Theres also a picnic table in front for those wishing to eat outside.

So, I was kind of talked into going to this place. It wasnt somewhere I wanted to go cuz I thought just another taco restaurant. Who needs more tacos? These taquerias are a dime a dozen. So I reluctantly went with everybody and ordered my typical order of six tacos, even though they have many different items to choose from. Much to my surprise, when they brought the tacos out and I stuck the first one in my mouth and chewed down on it, I thought to myself wow this is really good. The meat was plentiful and wasnt dry. Worst customer service experience ever, placed an order to go and waited for it inside the establishment for my order. Took 30 minutes to come out, and it took them another 10 minutes to give me my food and only because i told them to cancel my order. The bag of food they gave me was there for 10 minutes, told them I didn t want it anymore as it was cold already. Cashier proceeded to give me attitude telling me it s not a big deal because the food was warm still. Asked for a refund and told me I had to wait for them to call the owner and took another 5 minutes and didn t resolve anything. I have been a client since they first open after this experience I will never again eat or recommend this establishment.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff let me sit wherever, and was perfectly attentive. All the food was on point. I had 3 villa tacos and a frijoles charros especial. The Limonada was a firm 9 for me. Must visit.

My family loves the food. We come here often. I m giving them 3 stars because of the lack of customer service. The way you treat your customers is vital to a business. Hopefully they can work on that.

The fajita tacos were delicious. Well served with avocado and cheese. The charro beans are excellent and they also sell fresh waters and ice popsicles. As well as cakes. Good price and excellent service. Recommended.

I ve gone twice. Both times the food (tacos & beans) was good however the service was slower. The first time was understandable. The waitress by herself and had a full restaurant. I actually felt sorry for her because some clients were giving her such a hard time. I went back and experienced the same however this time there were more waitresses and less people. I would see them talk and not check on their table. I d order again but probably to go since service seems to be needing improvement.
