It was an amazingly beautiful religious place, we spent calm, peaceful and quiet time, explored the center inside, outside and the surroundings along with the gifts shop, lotus pond but unfortunately couldn t get into Dharma Hall as it was under renovation and construction! As we spoke to cashier at the shop, she explained whole lot of things about the Buddhist Center and recommended to visit during Lunar New Year! Definitely will be back soon and for Lunar New Year as well!!

I love this Buddhist temple/center, and it holds a special place in my heart as my grandpas here. It was also one of the first places I visited when moving to Houston years ago. The moment you set foot onto the grounds there is a sense of peace and serenity. Despite not being Buddhist I respect the beauty of the philosophy and teachings. Subsequently, attending several services it has been enlightening as the presiding monk is truly enlightened.

Always love the center. Tranquility with serenity. If you want to meditate and listen to the monk prayer and chant, they have event 2-3x per week. I only wish they bring back firecrackers on lunar new year celebration, which they stop doing it.

This temple is very serene and beautiful. We visited on a Monday afternoon, there was ample parking, and admissions was free. The gardens are well kept and lovely--even though it is the winter season so not much flowering, but I will try and return in the spring. One thing I personally did not like inside the main temple hall were the 2 rows of chairs. I understand it provides extra seating but 1 row wouldve sufficed. It seemed as though I was in a Church or courtroom, because the rows of chairs look like pews. Instead, there should be additional floor cushions. The gift shop was quaint and had lots of items to browse. I purchased some red envelopes($1 each). Also, the shop workers were very kind and enthusiastic--great service!! Bathrooms are very well-kept and clean, they are located outside and behind the main worship hall. Lastly, this temple a great combination for both mediations and ceremony as well as for festivals. The Dharma Hall is a function area that hosts lunches, and festivals such as Lunar New Year and Midautumn. 9/10, would recommend visiting.

One of the best Buddhist centers. In the parking lot, we asked a Vietnamese person, who was about to leave, if we could enter the temple and if there were any restrictions, such as a dress code. He parked his car again, took us inside the temple, and gave us a tour, spending 30 minutes just for us. Although he didnt speak English, he used his phone translator to communicate with us. His single act of kindness greatly increased my respect for Vietnamese people and their care and love. The temple itself is peaceful and elegant. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful place at least once.
