Had our daughter s Birthday/Team party at Escape in Time. This place was such a blast the girls loved it. Game Master David Bell was Awesome! He really worked with the girls in their adventure! My original review is below: #1 Escape Room Experience in Texas is a very bold claim. Our experience was not terrible but Escape in Time would not make my Top 5 in the Houston area My wife and I are veterans with close to 40 rooms completed. My wife and I completed Game Over by ourselves in 40 minutes. We were rebooked to this room because our original booking had a mechanical issue. We enjoyed the theming and always love an escape experience with multiple chambers. One of the rooms included a puzzle guide that was frankly a distraction from classical puzzling. It didn t quite seem like the jumbled words were intentionally meant to be hurtful or a frustrating aid or were just clues written by a first grader. Perhaps the distraction was the point but it was an awkward negative to the experience. The second awkward issue was the unsolicited hints. We asked for none, received 3, two of which described things we had already figured out. This was also disappointing because, while we re not too proud for hints, we prefer a chance to gain the satisfaction of solving puzzles on our own. The game master also started the room off by pointing out an intentionally placed distraction. The biggest issue was that several puzzles were in poor shape. One involved repeated ducking through a small opening. There was no warning of this in the room description. Another puzzle we ended up brute forcing. Maybe we ll be back.

We took our daughter here as part of her yes day birthday. We had a complete blast. From the moment we walked in, Gus guided us and went above and beyond to make our daughters birthday extra special. Gus even gave us a guided tour of some other rooms. Def. 10 out of 10 recommend.

This is a hard review, the people were very nice, the game itself was great. However we had an employee in the room with us the whole time which made it very uncomfortable and hard to focus and talk things through , or even think when they basically follow you around. We had high hopes and were super excited for this but will not go back. We have been to dozens of rooms and never had someone in the room standing next to us as we try to figure things out. It was awkward and I now know to ask before booking at a new location . Completed first years room .

David was our gamemaster, everything was a blast! My aunt took me to do the First Years quest. It had many exciting tidbits relating to the wizarding world, however did not require extensive or any knowledge to complete the puzzles. David was a perfect gamemaster, never giving unprompted hints, although they were offered. He only guided us in the correct direction when we were obviously no where near the correct answer with no hope of noticing it. We got to use a wand, potions, and several other magic themed props. I am already trying to figure out how and when to come back!

Been to a few escape rooms but this one stuck out for sure! First of all they had a LOT of variety and rooms to suit all ages (Harry Potter room, Mario room, Zombie room, etc.). The detail in every room was apparent, too. But what made it for us was how kind they were. Andrew was in our room and was very nice and helpful. The owners even put on a little magic show at the end for us to thank us. Would highly recommend this place, best weve been to!

My group and I all had a blast. We escaped The Cabin, hosted by Brooklyn! Small world of sharing the same name. She was very helpful with the clues she gave. Made the experience pretty great. Honestly this is my bad. I didn t know the room was supposed to be somewhat scary till we got there . Sure enough though she did a fantastic job of giving us the best experience with the back story and jump scares! 10/10 we will be going again.

We had so much fun! My husband and I chose the Sherlock vs Illuminati escape room. It was our first time ever doing an escape room and the owner made us feel so much more confident and assured us to remember to have fun! Cameron was our game master on the Sherlock & Illuminati. We escaped with our 10 & 11 year old sons with 18 minutes to spare. It was a fun room.

LOVED THIS PLACE!! Owner is great guy who was able to personally be our game master. The Cabin was great and horrifying at the same time, which was the greatest and definitely my personal favorite . Sherlock used all of my brain power, but thankfully we lucked out and the clues clicked at the last minute. For sure coming back with family and friends, and won t stop until I make it through all the rooms!!! Come through and you ll have a blast!! Cabin is definitely a little creepy, but I still think everyone should do it at least once
