Coming to town from KC for a concert and wanted to watch the Chiefs play somewhere. Found Wizards on Google. This place felt like home! So much fun, great nachos, awesome prices. I dont know when I will be back to DFW, but I will visit Wizards, game day or not.

Friendly place. Nice people to hang out and play pool with. Waitresses are very friendly. Pool tables were replaced recently, so they are a lot better to play on. A few large cracks in the building walls, which makes me think it has some serious structural issues. All in all, a fine place to hang out.

Were in Dallas for the week and had a night out, picked wizards based on recent reviews and we were not disappointed. Caitlyn took care of us, glasses never got empty, and she doubled as a tourist guide, we could not ask for a better waitress, we loved the place, the atmosphere, the food (OMG the brisket). Thank you Caitlyn, Lilian and I loved our time with you, and we hope to come back for seconds! Full on recommended!

Wizards is our every Wednesday spot we love it here. The bar tenders are great the waitresses especially Maddie takes great care of us. We feel like everyone knows our name what we drink and our preferences. This alludes to great training by the managers and a good non toxic work environment. I love the service and will come here with my group of friends as long as Wizards are open.... the only negative experience Ive had was today when we came in a waitress named Bridget was working the door and didnt recognize us and was extremely rude when asking for our IDs, and argumentative when we joked that we always come here and even made an issue and stated that she didnt want us in here and tried to get us removed. I understand that everyone has a bad day, but being that we come here every Wednesday I felt it was uncalled for and unprofessional.... that experience aside I love this place and will still come. Keep up the good work guys!!!

As if it wasnt hard enough to get a pool table because of how busy this place is, they made the pool table in the sky box vip and charge almost 3x more per hour to play there. No one even uses it and just causes longer wait times to play pool because of one less table. The skybox isnt even a private area or vip area. People still walk in there being loud while intoxicated which doesnt sound very private or vip to me. Please go back to making it a normal pool table

Really cool place with great billiard tables and 2 dart boards. Full bar and decent food. I recommend the pizza. My 2 negatives would be the lack of official policy when it comes to the tables when they have a league night. I was on a table and was told I needed to give it up for the league, and then after my waitress told me that table was specifically left open for non league players to still be able to play. The other negative I have is about drink specials, they dont list them anywhere so you always have to ask if there is a special going on.

Wizards is just a few steps up from your typical dive bar. It s a pool bar and so league events are held there almost daily. The people who come here have been coming here for years, so you re really walking into a family. If you re looking for somewhere to work on your pool game and build close friendships, this is a place where that can happen. It s more of a Cheers vibe. They are a Chiefs fan bar, so typically on Sundays they are packed during the football season. They have great pool tables that were recently updated and additional room upstairs for smoking and playing pool.

If youre going there for a pool hall youre in good hands. Unless its basketball night for the Kansas city chiefs, it gets loud. Tables are reasonably kept up, avoid tables 11,12, 15, and 16. There is good competition. All 8, 2 red label Diamonds, 14 Brunswicks. If youre looking for food at a random spot, food is great. Seat yourself to the right when you come in the front entrance. Otherwise, you my have issues getting someones attention. If youre there to drink, you dont need me to convince you. Its here. The only thing I would say, unless Caitlin is working your section or you dont want to sit on an empty glass/bottle for 20+ minutes on slow night... keep your tab at the bar.

Enjoyable time playing pool. Others were having a fun game of darts. Kid-friendliness: Another well known establishment in the area gruffly refused to let my friend bring her baby, who is extremely peaceful, and rocks happily in his car seat. Their loss. We were treated perfectly fine at Wizards, and the waitstaff were very polite.

Had wait quite a while to get a drink when I was with my party. Members of my party had to wait quite a while to get their food. Was told that I wasnt allowed to get a drink at the bar and had to wait for the server that was assigned to our party. The parking lot was small. The build is spacious and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Im not sure I will visit again.

So I came up here this past Wednesday night after a long work week. I just wanted to have a drink and relax. The woman behind the bar was so incredibly rude it made me uncomfortable. I went to the smoking area to get away from her but then I realized there are so many other bars I could go to so I left. When I asked for my tab she asked me if I was alright. Literally, this was the first drink I had all night. I was fine. She clearly hates her job and has some anger issues. There was another guy there and he was nice. I really dont expect this location to agree with me after reviewing all the customers reviews. And oh yeah the manager saying our server was her best server. So she had to believe what she said. But GIRL run the cameras. But let just say we was kick out because the server stated my boyfriend (HIT her) After him just trying to get her away from me. I went to the bar, I was told my tab was closed and needed to open one with a server cool. I waited by the pool tables noone came. Nice .walks to the bar to let the server know we wanted to order. (honestly that interaction was a red flag.) She came by finally and I gave my order. but unfortunately, im am a vibe person. I didnt like her service so I advise this as she was walking away. (I didnt want her put the order in at this point) I stated its ok on the wings, Im GOOD. I dont like your service. and starts to walk away You would have thought i said fighing words because as im walking away she like why you dont like my service? keep repeating it and keep getting close to me. Ok now im getting mad now. So I may have called her a stupid b because why are you following me?. Once I said that girl like, you want to fight ? lets go outside? Girl aint you at work? You can tell she dont have a care in the world for life. Its no way to act like this with strangers. Plus a stranger could never make me so mad I would risk how I feed my family. Like girl we over 30. I pray that whatever anger she have build up in her heart heals, because its so much crazy stuff going on in the world to put your life in danger over someone not wanting you to serve them.

Standard pool hall. Non-smoking. The queso wasnt very good. Also got the sampler platter Food prices were a little excessive for the amount and quality. Wings are in bottled hit sauce. The jalapeños were overcooked, but the bacon wrap wasnt crispy. They were filled with cheddar that didnt really melt. The service was great. Very nice and quick to get drinks and food orders.

This is a pool hall and Chiefs bar when they play, great fun for the gametime for sure. It can be a bit loud at times so dont expect quiet dining. With that said, the food for a bar is always above par and better than a lot of restaurants. Definitely check it out if you play pool and for great food, but if you are not a Chiefs fan dont go when they are playing. Vegetarian options: My vegetarian friend, not vegan, loves the cheese pizza here and gets it every time. It is actually one of the best or at least top 5

9/22/23. We started playing APA pool again. Went with Wizards because they play on Friday nights. It just happen to be one of the players birthday. We spent well over $300. That was just us. Not including everyone else with us. There was this short Mexican WOMEN Bartender. She got upset RUDELY demanding a TIP. We pay with Credit Card but always leave cash tip. My Husband was so upset. The next day we were still upset. I called & spoke with manager GERALD. He was completely understandable about how we felt. He said come see me when yall come back. Well. The next time we went back of course he wasnt there. So. We spoke with a different manager. Friday. 10/6/23. He comes at me very RUDELY. I was caught off guard. I really thought he wanted to fight me. Yes. Im a female. Well. I will never spend any money in there anymore. Seems like there is a history of mischarges at this establishment. Service has never been a strong point of theirs either. It is a fun, larger bar. However, the defensive tone of the management is distasteful. Thats so nice youve been around a long time... but mocking customers for leaving a bad review is trashy behavior.

Whole bunch of 8 foot Brunswick that are nice. Food is decent, drinks are well priced, but the star of the show is the server Bridgette. Shes always right there when you need need something, always has a smile on her face, just a top notch waitress.

We were invited here for a birthday party and at first we didnt expect to stay long, it just wasnt our typical type of hangout but we had so much fun, met the manager, who actually ended up being our server due to being short staffed for that night and she was amazing. So very kind, and attentive. We stayed until closing time and definitely didnt regret it. The DJ was great, the food was great, the drinks were great.... just a fun place to be. We will definitely be going back.

We went out for a Sunday funday out to play pool, interesting spot. Service was lackluster at best we got our drinks we ordered when entering but the server never spoke to us again for the two and a half hours we were there. Definitely wouldnt go back on a Sunday apparently thats reserved for regulars practicing their pool game and outsiders or anyone who wants to have a conversation are frowned upon. We had fun as we dont care about public opinion but well find somewhere else for a fun night out next time. Also the people next to us got food and it looked and smelled like the grease it was fried in was 13 years old and had never been changed. Overall maybe its great on Friday and Saturday but dont waste your time on a Sunday unless youre a Sunday regular already.

I went to this place once last year with my co-workers and I enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Mostly, I am glad that I found a legitimate sports bar in Richardson area. Ill definitely want to go back there and hopefully everything would be smooth like the last time.
