My large family just moved to Spring from DFW and we needed a place to sit down to eat. This restaurant took me back to a time when you got good portions at fair prices, considerate service, and delicious food. I have a hard time finding a place that offers even one of those qualities listed. Accommodating us with our 7 kids was not an issue for the server, and we felt very well taken care of. It is a shame we dont have a fridge yet because we have delicious leftovers that I will now be forced to eat tonight haha. I recommend the cantonese chow mein, bbq spare ribs, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken on a stick, beef brocolli, and kung pao. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you! Really didn t expect this but all good things come to an end. We moved out of the Spring area 2 years ago and left our once favorite togo Chinese Restaurant. We came to visit family and the area and when we decided to order Hong Kong we were onboard. To our surprise the food wasn t good tonight the Sweet and Sour Chicken tasted old and was dark probably old grease and the crispy noodles were hard as can be pics below. Nothing was good definitely a disappointment sad to see this place has gone down to this level. To be the best you have to work hard you can see they just don t care like the use too. Hope you can do better for the next customer.

The restaurant is in a little strip shopping center but don t let that fool you. The food is absolutely amazing. As you walk in the restaurant, you are greeted as you are a regular!! The service is great, great, great. I started ordering things separately and the the server told me I get more for less if I ordered the family meals. Perfect!! I found my new best restaurant!!!!

This place is great. Turns out my wife used to eat here for lunch when she was working near by but never thought to bring me for dinner. We came because the rain canceled our fire pit plans and Fortress didn t have the food truck open so we just just started driving until we saw this and my wife remembered how much she liked it for lunch. Turns out they are also a good place for dinner. I had egg fu young. I haven t had that in years. It was delicious. My wife had the lo main. It was good portions so we split it and still had some lo main left when we were done. They also have options for tea. I don t like green tea and a lot of places only have green tea. My wife has jasmine tea and I had oolong. If my wife hadn t forgotten about her favorite lunch spot when she changed jobs we could have been eating here for years.

Had lunch here on a whim and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was extremely friendly and personable, loved her! Also the lunch special is such a great bang for your buck. All under $9 and come with rice, soup, and egg roll. We also got the dumplings which were pretty yummy as well, different fry than what I m used to. Only sad part was I really wanted the beef flat rice noodle and they were out.

I came in here to order with 2other people with me. We sat down ordered our drinks and wait 20 mins for the to take our order. We got our drinks n wait for food once the food came only 2 of us got our food so we waited but they never gave it to us. And instead of the drink the person with me who didn t get their food ordered, they got water with no ice instead. Then the waitress came by n asked if we were finished while the two of us who got our plates were eating. It was just a terrible experience over all.

Such a lovely place to unwind and have a delightful meal. Portions are huge. All white chicken on almost all chicken dishes but one. Fresh vegetables. Been here several times and the quality of food and service is super consistent. Service is always top notch and friendly. Ive tried several dishes and have never been disappointed. Remember in the 1990s when your family had a go to Chinese place for Saturday lunch so mom didnt have to cook on the weekend? This place is it. Its cozy but sleek and clean. Been twice with coworkers so far. I always get the orange chicken. The chicken is crisp, the sauce is good, the rice is good, the egg rolls are good, soup is good. They do everything right. The service is attentive. The waitstaff give off a Im actually the owner and I love what I do vibe. Not saying they are owners; they just seem that invested in their jobs. They seem to take pride in their business and workmanship, and they like to have fun with the customer. They know how to make you feel welcome. Gave this place a try for the first time recently & wasnt all that impressed. They were very busy & severely understaffed. The food is just alright in my opinion. Not abundantly tasty, just so-so. So the food here is decent, but their customer service is poor at best. I placed an online order for a lunch pickup. There is a special requests option in the bottom so I entered broccoli on the side. I figured they would comply with my request and charge me the small fee of adding something to the meal. I would have been good with that. Upon picking my food up, I informed that I would pay with card. I selected the cash option on the website because there is no pay in store option and I dont want a Chinese restaurant having my credit card info saved on their web portal. When I informed them that I was paying with card she scolded me.....and told me to pay with credit card online next time. Then completely disregarded my special request and said it would be 3 extra dollars because broccoli does not come with sesame chicken (mind you there are a million other combinations that dont seem to be a problem). I wont be back. Go to any of the other Chinese restaurants in the area. Youll get better service.

Everything was great at this restaurant! We live in a nearby neighborhood and decided to visit the place today and it did not disappoint! My husband tried the curry shrimp and MIL had a combination dinner. I tried the shrimp and scallops hunan style, it was very good! We also had wonton soup and a side of eggrolls. Kids meal portions are huge! It s a bang for your buck. Reasonable price and big portions! It was beyond my expectations. I was told my order was going to be delivered in 40 minutes they were an hour late I gave the driver $40 expecting my change and he just took off. The food was ice cold and all the manager can tell me when I called was I m berry berry sorry we real busy. She had no remorse whatsoever. There are so many great things to say about Hong Kong. The staff here is truly amazing and we enjoy getting to see them when we go. It is also amazing, how incredibly consistent this restaurant is. The food is ALWAYS good, hot and fresh. We have enjoyed both dining in, take out and delivery over the many years we have been coming here and it is always worth it. I especially love their Hot & Sour Soup, the General Tso Tofu and the Cashew Chicken. One of the other nice things about Hong Kong is they will adjust the menu items to your level of spicy. Vegetarian options: The General Tso Tofu is wonderful but there are also tons of other vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: There are options for everyone. If you are vegetarian, the General Tso Tofu is divine. Parking: Plenty of spaces available, never had a problem parking. Hubby and I are musicians, but this was a lovely detail that set apart the Hong Kong. We could talk & understand each other! Update: after a few times at this place, I have come to the conclusion that the woman who runs the place is absolutely clueless about their online order system, proceeding to question me whether I place an online order, whether I showed up at the right time to pick up my order, and whether or not I have the right amount of payment. If you want to be confused, gaslighted, and made to look foolish in front of other patrons, may I suggest to give this place a try. Be aware that if you question her, the staff will join in to further embarrass you. If they cant get their order straight, they should not have an online order service. If they want to make a scene to save their face, they have lost a customer Hit rock bottom this time and started digging further AVOID the drama here Excellent dishes for a reasonable price. Owner is very attentive and offers great suggestions. A little far from my residence, but I will stop by again when in the area. (Too bad that first impression is only fleeting).

Im surprised this place has 4.5 stars. I wouldnt order from them again. First off, I scheduled for my order to be delivered at 2pm bc I was on an important work call and wasnt available until then. They showed up 30 mins early. Irritating, but no big deal, right? Wrong! The food was subpar in taste, and something really messed my stomach up! I still have the runs. The fried rice was bland, no flavor. I ordered general tso, and its the worst Ive ever had. As far as taste, the flavor wasnt the best, its edible, but I had to throw the food away bc it messed up my stomach. I dont how they have a 4.5 rating! I should have followed by 1st mind when I walked in the place and it smelled horrible inside. I ate the spring roll however there was no good flavor to it. The pepper steak did not look like beef meat and the peppers were crunchy. I pray it wasnt dog or another animal meat posed as pepper steak. The food was very hot and fresh when it arrived to my house! Delivery man was very sweet, he wasn t supposed to be here till 3:26 and got here at 3:15! may I add $25 for two dinners isn t bad at all!!

We absolutely love this place! We went for the first time and I was amazed how good the food was. We recommend the bourbon chicken,special rice and noodles. THE PUFFFFS WERE SOOOOO GOOD! it s a must for now on!

Very good Chinese food! Was a bit oily with the egg roll, but it is Chinese. The hot and sour soup was okay, but wish it was a little better. The lo mein was very good. The chicken was delicious and hot in temperature. I do think the spiciness was kind of low for general tso. Overall, I do recommend.

We walked in and the two girls said sorry you only have 15 minutes. They did not want to seat us and did not even offer us to get something to go. Anyone who knows anything about chinese food, knows it could be prepared in about 10 minutes or less. Terrible Service!

We have been going to this restaurant for the past 6 years. The food is always great consistently. Have never had to complain. Service is always great. Nancy is the server that always waits on us. Large portions of food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Very good vegetable selections. Parking: Great location. Plenty of parking spaces.

It s a shame this was my first time here & will be my last. My promise time was the time I arrived. I stood there for 5 minutes not being greeted while the lady behind the counter argued with a vendor. Then I gave the name of my order in which she looked puzzled. After 10 more minutes she came back and said it s almost ready, I said ma am how much longer (I am on lunch break). She then had the audacity to catch an attitude then say fine I ll go get it myself. 5 more minutes later came back then proceed to tell me if I order online I need to pay with my card. But if you guys promise a time online there s no accountability for that right? No thanks. There s plenty of restaurants around, I ll gladly spend my money else where. I expect way better customer service from a hole in the wall.
