Awesome place to hang, have drinks, play games and chill. Best part was Server Maxamillion s attentiveness and always making sure we had drinks and for the perfect recommendation for the PBLT and add an egg. One of the best BLTs I have had in a long time. We had family in town and went for Brunch. We had a few minor issues but they were fixed immediately and the customer service was great. Our waiter, Max was awesome and very personable. The Bison burger and standard breakfast with waffles were delicious . Food came out fast and we were satisfied.

Punch bowl social is always a fun place to spend a few hours with friends or colleagues. The variety of activities keeps you moving from one to another and constantly entertained. The weekday happy hour is a good deal for fairly inexpensive dinner, drinks, and games. This location has plenty of free parking nearby as well as shopping and other bars to make a longer night of it.

Recently came in for a work event and had the absolute best time. Atmosphere was great and food was yummy! I tend to stay home because of the bad service lately of other places, but our host is making me rethink having dinner at home. Angela was such a great host. Not only did she have great memory (we kept asking for refills/other little things and she never forgot) But she was really fast with it! She also was not shy and made really funny jokes and had little stories here and there. Although the place is great, our host Angela singly made me want to come back with friends! I can tell she s a hard worker. Probably the best host I ve ever had 10/10 recommend this place!

We were there Saturday early afternoon a time when it was not that busy and the bartender immediately greeted us but then did not come back to take our order. He was in the bar area and would look at us but instead chose to go through pens at each register and chat with a couple next to us who was not sitting at the bar and had no drinks. We decided to only have one cocktail and leave. The female bartender was much more attentive.

Had our company summer event there. Great place in the summer in Austin because its big enough to do stuff but also nicely air-conditioned :-). We showed up with about 50 people and hadnt actually organized ourselves well enough but Gabrielle and Max were our servers and they quickly adjust and got everything set up just right for us. Terrific service from those two made the gathering a great time.

I recently visited Punch Bowl Social on a Tuesday night for the first time. Since it was a weekday, the place wasnt too busy. As we were leaving, we went to close out our tab only to find out it had already been closed. We were still in the building and it was still open, so this was quite confusing. We didnt think to get a receipt at that moment. However, when my boyfriend checked his bank statement, he noticed we were charged nearly $40 for what should have been a $25 tab. This experience felt quite off and scammy. It seems very unprofessional and questionable to automatically close out tabs while the bar is still open and guests are still present. When we tried to address this with the staff, they simply said, Oh, we already closed out the tab, and seemed completely indifferent to our concerns. I will not be returning to Punch Bowl Social due to this incident. It s concerning that such practices are in place, and I hope this review can warn others to be cautious.

Update: I was asked to reach out as requested and still have not heard back from anyone. This is super disappointing. I had some hopes that Punchbowl would make it right, but that was not the case. I am highly upset! I usually do not write bad reviews but after looking at my bank account, and seeing that I was overcharged I had to warn other patrons to be mindful. 1.) Keep your receipts after paying 2.) Notify the manager of your service right then and there. Our food was good, drinks were okay but over priced in my opinion. Service from a particular server was AWFUL. It was a birthday dinner- 4 of us total. The waitress was damn near whispering to us. When we asked questions about menu items, she was not informative or couldn t answer the questions we asked. She did a lot of staring and staring off to space For example, I asked about the punch bowl. I asked did it come with straws and one giant fish bowl or how was it served for four people she kept asking me do I want a sample? I stated no I just wanna know how it comes. Finally, I just asked to order the punch bowl and then she was like oh I need to see if that s available for you even though she kept asking us about wanting samples of the bowl. One of the ladies ordered a catfish sandwich and asked do they happen to have tartar sauce. She just stared at us until we finally said never mind. We asked to hold onto the menu because we wanted to order more drinks as we were going to celebrate our whole evening there, however she kept attempting to take it and finally at one point she just took it so we decided that we were not gonna stay. Any longer. I could go on and on, but the final straw for me is our total bill was close to $200, we asked to divide equally amongst three of us which would have been about 60 something, instead of doing that she separated it how she wanted. One person was 50, the other was 55 and the last person got the highest bill. We all tipped because we understand servers don t get paid all that well, but to change the amount on the final bill is NOT Okay! We will not be back

They said they re not taking orders anymore at 10.30pm! It was very bad as it was our only option, right outside our stay. When we entered we saw that the timings were upto 11. It was clearly wheelchair accessible and it had a small ramp too. Saw people chilling at the bar counter, was a vibrant atmosphere inside, pretty decor and lights. Vegetarian options: There were burgers that could be made vegetarian Dietary restrictions: Might contain wheat, alcohol Parking: You may park right across the street Kid-friendliness: Maybe, not a great idea to take kids to a bar Wheelchair accessibility: Yes! Went at 6pm on a Saturday. Drinks were great, good always delicious, service was prompt, but the atmosphere has gone down hill. There was a group of parents with like 20 kids playing goose all and screaming for an hour straight. Complete disregard for anyone around them and staff didnt say anything to them. Seems like the place is more kid oriented than it used to be. I dont care to go back but maybe Ill do to-go.

Nice selection of food. The Reuben was pretty good. The catfish way overhung the bun on that sandwich. Didnt try any but the deserts in the display case looked scrumptious. Lots of games all around including bowling. My only complaint is only one bathroom for both genders in the dining wing. Dont know if there was additional bathrooms on the other side.

I am a regular customer at the punch bowl location at the Domian , I dont want to discourge anyone from hangout at that location because it is really fun place , however I have notice at the bartenders on the pm shift ( 5,pm) are bias . I was completely given a menu and completely ignored afterwards. I personally will not patronize the bartenders at that location and go with sit in service, otherwise fun location to hangout in a group

Joined a group of Spanish speaking friends for a birthday celebration and the server was just that. As soon as a blonde American friend showed up the server was all friendly and smiley with her . Just saying ! Other than that uncomfortable bump on the celebration road, the place is big and loud, what you expect! Easily the worst luncheon experience I ve had in at least 10 years, and that includes tourist traps in Europe. Ordered the steak medium, it arrived very well done and tough. Fries were not cooked through and still somewhat raw. Beer was served warm and when notified a cold one wasn t offered. They did shut down all drafts to spare others, so that s good. For $8.50 would have liked a cold beer. Service was from a trainee; can t complain w that in mind, but manager nowhere to be found. Someone should have at least asked if our orders were ok. Wasn t very busy. Would like my order redone or have a refund.

In this establishment, there are always too many people, and you have to wait for a table for at least an hour. I ordered a tuna salad for $20 and got a plate with a large amount of greens and only 3-4 small pieces of tuna. I dont understand what I paid so much money for. I could only taste the olive oil. I think it was the worst salad in my life. We also ordered cocktails, and they turned out to be too bitter and almost impossible to drink. There was too little of the actual cocktail for such an expensive price. The only thing I was satisfied with was the service.

I get that its a bar, but considering that its a social club, the music was way too loud for conversations. Seating was awkward and uncomfortable for groups. Navigating the space was a nightmare of dodging people at the ping pong tables to get to the restrooms. I had the wedge salad, and there was next to no blue cheese in it- Id rather they used a less expensive blue cheese and get more if it that the tiny piece of premium Point Reyes I had in my salad. The server brought the salad with no silverware, and it took me some time to realize there was a basket if silverware set up across the room. I had to wait over half an hour to get my bill so I could leave, but I couldnt hear what the server was saying when she finally brought it, hopefully there was a good explanation. The giant jenga game was fun, though. Dietary restrictions: There seemed to be several gluten free and brgetarian options, and there were some tasty non-alcoholic cocktails.

Was looking for a place to take my swim team after the state championships, and they were able to accommodate us amazingly, we were seated quickly the staff was friendly, and our servers Juan and Leah were very attentive. On top of all of that the food was delicious. Thank you to all the staff for helping us celebrate the end of our season.

My husband took me here as whistle-stop #2 on our first date night in Austin! We started at Mt. Bonnell for a sunset stroll & headed to Punch Bowl Social for dinner & games. The games were enticing and engaging! Several large areas were closed off for a private event, so we didnt get the full experience, but thats okay!!! We will next time. I had a blast! I beat my hubs at ski ball & Mortal Combat! He got me on Space Invaders, but to be fair, thats his generation... Not mine. My GF grilled cheese was fantastic and filled with pear and an assortment of melted cheese. A little butter to crisp up the bread would be a great addition to this dish. The GF Chicken Wings were divine and my poor hubs barely got his paw on one. I used the wing sauce as grilled cheese dip and O M G! His Gluten covered burger looked fine, but I was barely paying attention between bites. I was feeling ill, but didnt want to forego date night. Our sweet waitress noticed and asked the bartender to make a hot totty for me with Spiced Rum. He did a fine job and I felt much better! The manager on staff was so sweet and was attentive to every table. We ended the night playing shuffleboard and having a great time! Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free available

I couldn t pick what was better. The atmosphere or food. Such a cool spot with lots to do. Darts , shuffleboard, foosball, and more. Table games ect. Good music and very clean. Great fresh menu with many options for people with specific diets. I had the seared ahi tuna salad and it was rich and delicious. Also the shrimp tacos which were great. No alcohol on this visit for me but the drink menu was robust and tempting. A great Arnold Palmer hit the spot though. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access with multiple entries.

If I can, I would give them a zero. The security guard was targeting us to leave before 1:30am when Google said they close at 2 am. At 1:30 am there were so many other people playing games and at the bar sitting, but we were the only ones being personally forced out. He was forcing us to finish our drinks and standing over us to get out. This place closes at 2 am and we were told the last call is 1:30. Internet says they close at 2 am, not sure why they gave us last call at 1:30, but we re forced to exit at 1:40 am to be exact. If last call is 1:30, I would expect the Google hours to reflect that. I do truly appreciate the bartender, wasn t able to get the bartenders name, but he helped us get all our orders. Disappointed in punch bowl social s security for their service. I ve came here since 2017, will not be coming back to this location again.

This was my first visit to a Punchbowl Social and I ll never go back! My visiting work team of 15 went here last night. The server left us sitting with no contact at the beginning of the night. The drink order was extremely slow coming out. Many of us didn t get what we ordered and my meal was never delivered and wasn t even entered in the system. With this type of service I don t recommend ever visiting one of these again and I ll strongly recommend to our person who schedules events to never send any groups there again.

The value proposition of what you pay for what you get is way off. The whole experience was just disappointing. It was ~$70 to rent a bowling lane for 4 people for an hour and a half. And the lane malfunctioned for about 15-20 minutes until we got someone to fix it. Even afterwards it still didnt work great. Then when we ran out of time, game not complete, the same person who had to fix our lane told me, straight-faced, You ran out of time. To which I replied, Yes... And the lane was down for like 15-20 minutes. She begrudgingly added 15 extra minutes so we could finish. The food wasnt great either. I know its more about the games than the food, but it was cheap quality at a premium price. I will say that our server was attentive and a good guy. I added an extra star just for him. Kid-friendliness: There were kid bumpers available on the lanes. There was only one kids bowling ramp (launcher?).
