The Golden Bowl is my favorite Asian restaurant! The ambiance is very pleasant. The food was not only beautifully served but was amazing ! I had Peppered shrimp with snow peas .amazing! I urge all to go visit this awesome restaurant. Not only was the food great but now they are serving homemade desserts. I had Tiramisu that was out of this world!

I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. Disappointing. The chicken was okay. The sauce on it was good but the chicken inside the breading tasted very dried out. The rice was so bland. Not even soy sauce made if taste better. The egg roll was the first bad egg roll Ive ever had in my life. The flavor tasted like it had dirt in it. Maybe it was just bland. I dont know... Half of this food is going into the trash. Never ordering from here again. Such a waste of money.

We stopped here before going to the movies. Definitely, will make it a must stop for us. Food was delicious, and they allowed for items to be on the side for my daughters ramen soup. The portions are a good size. We also had a few sushi rolls for apps, and they are a meal themselves. Their chocolate mousse cake was the best and was a great ending to our family meal.

General Tso s chicken is over-cooked and has NO FLAVOR OR SPICE! The octopus salad was excellent, except for the rotten cucumbers. The bang bang shrimp has no bang and is overcooked. The fried rice is basically brown rice. The coconut flavor tea is flat and unflavored without boba. The spring rolls had a redeeming quality. This is the worst recommended restaurant I ve ever had. Disgusting.

You know those hole in the wall Chinese restaurants, with like the B+ health rating, in the middle of nowhere, and the kid working there? Yeah, they absolutely have the best food. The Rice + Boneless Spareribs are to die for. Itll be about 35 dollars but it can feed you several times. This is my favorite restaurant; my girlfriend busted a nut over the ribs. She is begging me to take her there for her birthday to get those ribs. Parking: There are about 2 cars always there but there is like 8 spots available.

Consistently very good! We eat here all the time since we live around the corner, and have tried lots of things on the menu. I m impressed with the variety of food they do well! The Chinese staples are great, the ramen is great and a good value, and the sushi is always super fresh and high quality. There is another Chinese restaurant down the street and a dedicated sushi place, and we prefer Golden Bowl s food over both of them. Sure, the service might be a little basic, but it s clearly a family run place and I love to support local!

Came here with some of my family from dinner and some items were really good while others were a little bit off. Additionally, we had two servers, one who was very nice and the other would yell as she came to the table. Im not sure if she just wanted to be sure we heard her but it was a little off putting. I ordered the ramen and a couple pieces of sushi. The rame was decent expect for the noodles. They were way overcooked and just mushy. The raw sushi I got was a little fishy tasting which made me glad I also got eel. The whole table kinda felt the same about their meals parts of it was really good but then there was something a little off.

So very disappointed . I ordered over $100 dinner for my family. There was an entree missing $14. I called to report the error and was met with immediate accusatory tone and the packer all but called me a liar. I couldnt believe the lack of professionalism. Excellent food. Lived in Spring 3 yrs and finally tried this place and so glad we did. Impressed to find lunch specials on a Saturday. Hubs ordered garlic sauce w beef and I had the spicy chicken thai and both of us kept saying how good it was the whole time. Very clean, we walked in right when they opened and they just got through cleaning so very clean. Highly recommend coming here. Waitstaff also terrific. We were disappointed. Our family of 5 showed up excited to try the Golden Bowl. It was highly recommended and we live less than a mile away off Cypresswood. When our 10 year old tried to order chicken nuggets off the kid menu the waitress asked him his age. He said 10, she told him he was too old and a second waiter came to tell us we would have to pay double for his plate. It made more sense to us to kindly pay for our drinks and go to a different restaurant for dinner. The odd part was the restaurant was only about 10% capacity at 5pm. I would have thought it would be worth it to allow us to spend $80-100 on dinner even if that meant they would allow our 10 year old to order from the kid menu.

Chef Jesse is back and bringing new specials! This visit is steamed seafood in his amazing sauce (house sauce). If you like boiled crawfish and shrimp (or crab legs and mussels) you will love this!! Totally recommend the steamed broccoli on the side dipped in the sauce Delicious!!! If you like fried wings, again Jesse knocks it out the park and always on happy hour!! This is a nice little hidden place. I went with my 3 children on the Saturday before Easter. It wasnt crowded, which I loved and the food was good. I am vegetarian and they have a vegetarian menu. We were the only guests in the entire restaurant. It took almost an hour for the food to come out. my food was very hot. but the shrimps were not fried well. My mothers plate was very cold. and the fried rice on her plate tasted terrible. They had to clean the old oil out of the pan, thats how it tasted. the beef on her plate was also undercooked. As if the pan wasnt hot enough, it was really just cooked instead of like it would normally be in a good restaurant with good food. I had ordered plain white rice and didnt experience the same. We had planned to split dessert, but since the food wasnt good and the service was just as bad, we just wanted to leave. their green tea situation is also a mess. I dont recommend them for a good time.

Went for lunch. Lunch salad is just a bowl of lettuce from a bag. No other items in the salad. Offered small container of ranch with it. Wait staff initially was cold and curt, but got better when get checked on the table afterwards. 20% sushi and rolls offer doesnt apply to hand rolls. Eel and yellowtail dont count for specialty. Was told this at the time of getting the check. Nori wrap is tough to the tooth. This place has Vegetarian ramen, but otherwise it was a complete let down and would be 1 star otherwise.

Their white sauce is honey mustard and their Kung Pao sauce is very sweet and minimally spicy. Their sushis pretty darn good, though. The food here is so good I had it when I went to my aunts house and since that day I haven t stop thinking about the orange chicken they have. I would give them a perfect 5 stars but they don t have a Golden Bowl near me and I live far from my aunt.

Moved out of the area and hadnt been here in a while but the food is still so good! Kind of pricey but definitely worth it. Very nice eating area if you choose to sit and dine but they do offer takeout as well.

First off, the lady who took my to go order & payment wasnt the most personable. Secondly, the food is damn sure not worth cost. It was $13 & change, almost $14. The portion was very plentiful but the the fried rice wasnt anything great. I got sweet sour chicken & the sauce was sweet sour water vs sauce w/really no taste. Yea, I wont be going there again for sure.

Man to be honest this place is horrible. First time here and last time. The sushi was nasty nothing like it was suppose to be. The chicken lo mein was hot and the chicken was cold. The sushi was bad I swear we tried everything and nothing was good we paid for everything because the server was absolutely rude told my mom to hush smh but honestly please don t come here.

Me and my husband use to love coming here. It was kinda our place we ve been going to since we got together, but whoever is running the place now has made me never want to come back. The attitude of the employee who took my order over the phone is insane. All I did was place my order and every word out of their mouth was snarky. Even when I got to the restaurant they saw me outside waiting to pay and pick up my food and they waited till I walked away to come run and get me to pay for my food. Told me 15 mins and it s been over 30 while I can see the person who took my order just running back and forth across the restaurant with my food just sitting there on the counter. New staff is rude and extremely unprofessional.

Food was hot and good. Service needs help. Ordered for take out, the young lady that took the call was not nice, not helpful, demanding for my credit card, gave orders for how to receive my food, and changed the rules of pickup once I arrived. Beyond the customer service, I will try again to explore their menu again

Delicious meals from different parts southeast Asia, it will come quickly and warmly with plenty of seasoning. Staff is not particularly friendly but if that is not important to you and youre more interested in flavorful food then you cant go wrong here.
