This taqueria was once in my top 3 favorite places to eat, until the last 3 or 4 visits, today was the last time i stepped in there, i ordered the al pastor burrito and it was the worst of the worst really greasy and the meat was not cooked well! Soo overpriced

I only went to have a margarita but in the entire time I was there they only checked my table once. Once my margarita was finished, several waiters passed by me but no one came up to me to check how I was doing, I even think that even the manager walked by me and I put my empty glass on the edge of the table but no one offered me anything else. , I had to stop to order another drink. I ordered a mango margarita and the taste of the margarita is excellent, it was very well prepared, the location of the place is excellent and the atmosphere due to the karaoke is also excellent but the service was not very satisfactory.

The plates took longer then expected. The waitress didnt refill the water nor chips and salsa since it took more then 30 minutes to get our plates. The nachos were put on the microwave to melt the cheese on the top . So by the time my daughter ate them they were cold. We constantly had to ask for things. So I dont see myself going back to eat at this place.

Very bad service on Tuesday, June 4, 24 I had a bad experience. I went to eat with my husband. I ordered the waitress some grilled shrimp. I took them breaded. I told her that I didnt ask for them breaded. She rudely told me that, yes, according to her. It took me about 15 minutes to bring the ones I ordered, another waitress arrived and told me that they would not change my dish because according to the other waitress that was what I ordered, they did not apologize or anything, I asked to speak to a manager, they denied me I was not there, I left indignant at how they treated me. I will not return there. Terrible service in Spencers tepatitlan, Pasasadena, TX. I do not recommend it at all.

Service was good and food was tasty. My only issue was when I paid for the check...I noticed an additional $3 charge. When I asked they said they charge a fee for using a card to pay (debit/credit). $3 charge to use your card to pay your bill. I would have been ok if they notified me, I would have paid cash. But nobody spoke to me before.

The mariachi singers came to our table and started singing, then asked us if we had any requests; We request ONE song and give them $20. Most just accept any tip, but they charged us $75! We thought it was a joke! I cant believe they didnt tell us they charged $25 per song. We literally requested a song! The Lengua taco was soggy but I wouldnt go back or recommend it for the above reason.

Tepatitlan is one of our go to places. Lately, the portions have gotten smaller, and the prices went way up. The dish I always got was $8 and went up to $17 recently, and they decreased the portion size. Its still good food, and if you pay cash you avoid the extra fees.

Great place with delicious food and fun karaoke Everyone was nice and welcoming. Our waitress seemed annoyed when we would ask for things when shes pass by and shed disappear for long periods of time. At one point we saw her sitting at another table eating.

Went for lunch with my wife the food was alright she got the grilled shrimp I got some Mexican enchiladas definitely not what I was expecting they looked and tasted Tex Mex the chicken inside was literally two-three chicken fajita strips it was really salty ended up having to order something else, so I got three barbacoa tacos I know barbacoa has fat in it but those tacos looked like it was literally just fat stuff in them m, then our server took forever to check up on us we ended up calling the girl that by the front register to get something else we were really disappointed as we like to come here often and try out their different food,

The food arrived hot, and plenty. My tacos were stuffed and was served chips and really good (not too hot) red sauce. South Houston, Texas hidden gem. And yes, there is up front parking for the handicapped & great wheel chair accessiblility. Parking: Handicap parking is upfront with great lighting. Wheelchair accessibility: My mom is in a wheelchair and we had no problem parking and bringing her into the restaurant as well. There s plenty of room in the restaurant to access a wheelchair for mobility.

We usually get fajitas here. Theyre delicious and probably the best fajitas weve personally had. Weve been all over the country, but none have come close to this restaurant. They even have tripa and its very crunchy and delicious! I will say you need to ask for plates as they wont bring you extra, but besides that, the servers are usually attentive. Their tea is also great!

This is my go to place for Mexican food here in town. Especially on Saturday or Sunday morning when I feel like getting my menudo on! The other food is really good too! Ask for Rosa - shes the best!!! Tip her well - shell take good care of you!

This place is one of my favorites! This was my first time trying their quesadillas, I usually get the fajitas for 1 but Im glad I switched it up! The quesadilla de fajita was full of perfectly favored meat, with fluffy rice and refried beans. The cheese melts in your mouth. I love this place,

Im quite used to dining at this fine chain of Tepatitlan. However....this particular location was a letdown. Not so much the location, because trust me, its in a good location, its in the middle of everything, my problem was the food. It wasnt good at all. I dont want to be rude, but the cook that handled my food knows nothing about Mexican spices. Oh, yes, our waitress was a bit smarmy and had a sassy attitude. I only asked for the check, goodness.

My wife and I visited this place and my wife ordered a beef broth and I had a shrimp broth, the beef broth only came with a large piece of cabbage and a piece of meat, and the broth was water heated in the microwave, after After 15 minutes they brought the shrimp broth, it looked like bayuco water, and with a smell of stagnant water, how the broth had been there for a long time, the waitresss excuse was that they had changed the cook, the handmade tortillas were very Delicious but half charred, and they still wanted me to pay them 46 DLS. I only provided the shrimp broth and left it there, I had to cover it because the smell couldnt be tolerated, the waitress even said it smelled bad.

*Horrible new staff* So let me just start by saying Ive been going to this restaurant for 15 years since the age of 15 the food is amazing Ive invited plenty of friends and family whove never ate there for birthday dinners dates and what not. So I ordered 2 appetizers A plate of Nachos and Queso Fundido so EVERY SINGLE TIME I have ordered nachos from here they always come with the Yellow melted cheese. (They are very delicious by the way) Well after a 30 MINUTE WAIT they bring me out a plate of Nachos with white melted cheese on them I told waiter hey this is wrong theyre supposed to come with yellow cheese they served looks confused as she asked me what kind of Nachos I wanted exactly while pointing at the menu. I point at the picture where they literally have melted yellow cheese on them. AFTER ANOTHER 30 MINUTE WAIT they bring me a my APPETIZER. (a appetizer should not take a hour to get right. Anyway she asks if I need anything else I told her yeah wheres my Queso Fundido with Fajita in it she looks surprised as she completely forgot to put that on the order she hurrys to the back and surprisingly it only took about 10 minutes for that to come out but to my surprise it was YELLOW MELTED CHEESE. Never in my life have I seen a Queso Fundido with yellow cheese its supposed to be White quesadilla cheese. I looked at it in confused and said no its supposed to be White melted cheese she said let me go to the back and see if we have any she came back and lied and said there wasnt any. I know there was because they literally brought out the first order of Nachos covered with white melted cheese!!! So I told her I dont want that take it back. I finished my food and paid I told the guy up front that Ive been coming here for over 10 years and never had any problems he then informed me they got a new staff in the kitchen. Not thinking I swiped my card only to be heart broken driving down the street when I realized THEY CHARGED ME FOR BOTH APPETIZERS $38 for a couple kids lemonades a coke & a plate of Nachos! I hope they get it together or me and my family are never ever going back again.

None of my kids liked the food they ordered. The quesadilla had a weird, greasy cheese. The enchiladas were kind of dry. We found a hair in one of our salsas and the waitress replaced it with another. I had a few gorditas, one was nopales and the other was a meat. They were good. There were only like 5 or 6 tables with customers when we were there. The waitress was nice and she did check on us.

I didnt like the food and another thing I didnt like is when youre going to pay, surprise, the tip is included, they charge you 20 percent... I dont like that because youre used to leaving the tip on the table for the meal. waitress, that thing about them charging you along with the tigue is not good because what I know is that the tip is voluntary, it is not obligatory, I do not recommend it, I will never return to this place, I will never go

I had not been in awhile. They have more staff now. A sign to sit yourself would be nice. The chips & salsa arrived quickly. The food did not take long to arrive. I WAS SURPRISED! It took me longer to decide what I wanted.. the menudo was hot, like it should be.( I mean temperature not spicy) w/ the fixings: onions, cilantro, limes, chopped peppers & the homemade good size corn tortillas. The appetizer came out at the same time. Although it said toasted ,the cheese & bean nachos were delicious with the sour cream, guacamole, and jalapeños in escabeche in the center to dip in. They make their own pickled jalapeños. Also ordered a side guacamole, a bit pricey, but the flavor was homemade. The horchata water was a little too sweet, but after the ice melted down some...it was better. Definitely will not wait too long to go back.. the crowd and loud karaoke night did not slow down the food arrival.. Parking: Plenty of parking, it could use more light in the way back. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs available..but I saw people go get them, themselves.. there were a good amount of families with small children when I went Wheelchair accessibility: It is available and able to maneuver to the center and backside of the restaurant..bar area too crowded.

Another lady came out and said they cant serve us because they are about to close. Maybe they should turn off the Open sign early and lock the door and not seat anyone 30 minutes before closing next time. Im glad I saved the money anyway because the fajitas for 2 is about $60.

Our service sucked. They still charged us a 15% gratitude so they didnt really take care of us the way they shouldve. No one checked on us. No refills. Nothing they basically left us there till we were ready for our check.
