Do not recommend for living!! For the past few years this area has been decaying exponentially. The association no longer provides proper maintenance to the green areas, its looks ugly and dangerous often times. If you are scared of snakes, this is not the place for you. These areas are full of them, especially when unkept (which is most of the time). Los Milagros neighborhood is a prime example of how unkept the area is. The lake in the neighborhood has been not functional for at least 4 years. Its pretty much a pool of stagnant, dirty water. Its the perfect environment for mosquito breeding. Im surprised this is not health violation. Its hard to even go outside my house because its full of mosquitoes. The neighborhood also is full of pot holes and it takes a few weeks to fix them. The street lights do not work. I cant walk safely at night because the lights randomly go out. Weve tried contacting Sharyland Plantation about these issues for so long. They do not do anything. The staff is disgustingly rude, they do not listen to your needs. They are extremely dismissive and impolite. Their responses are sarcastic, disrespectful and tasteless. An automated machine system would be more helpful and nicer than these employees....

17 years ago I would have given it more than 5 stars but today I only give it one. Nobody pays attention to the gardens anymore, the people who are in charge of cutting the grass are not doing their job. Dont come to live in this area because only the name is left, its nothing like it was before!!!!! And if you talk to the office they dont pay attention!!!!!

I live in the Solera complex. This is probably the worst HOA, they are so disrespectful, is summer, I was going to arrive 15 minutes before closing on Friday to get pool credentials for me and my kids, not that I don t. Have a pool at our place, just need a fun pool and the lady I talked on the phone was so mean and disrespectful, asked for help and what could I do in case of not being able to use them for the whole weekend because apparently pool credentials need an appointment, and well they are not flexible even if we put a load of money into the HOA, and they don t make my community better. Have you seen our trashed community, why am I giving so much money for them to not even be flexible on pool credentials. It s ridiculous. If you re planning on getting a home for the perks of the community, please go to another area, this is not for you.

We noticed you guys charge a lot of fees that goes to waste or to rude staff that is useless. Instead of having useless people, focus on using the money by hiring maintenance to cut the grass outside. Cant believe so much money goes to waste for nothing. UNBELIEVABLE

A beautiful area! So easy to access being only a few miles off of Highway 83 when taking the Shary Road exit. Stores nearby, and the Landscaping is beautifully maintained. I work with clients who live in one of the mansions along Solera, and I have my eyes on one of their neighbors homes, which is up for sale. I wont be able to afford it, but this is undoubtedly one of the finest, best maintained, and most spacious luxury communities in Hidalgo County.

Its OK, NOT as expected, but together we can make it much better! Sharyland Plantation is a beautiful community to live in, unfortunately staff and managers from the association have not been able to create a real community due to lack of communication with homeowners. Quite a few past and present homeowners are very disappointed by the way things (dues, violations, etc) have been handle by the association. We are a very diverse community and communication has not worked in our best part to join us as a shared community. I am the present delegate from Los Nogales 1,2 and 3 Subdivisions. if you have any comments, good or bad, call me at 458-1805; I would like to hear from you so we can together build a better community.
