The Ventura wedding Review We had our wedding at the beautiful Weddings at Lakeside on June 15, 2024! Everything was perfect and I couldn t have asked for anything more!! Kevin is such an amazing venue owner and was super helpful with everything from helping plan our big day with his super informative website, to being super flexible and allowing us to do everything we had imagined for our big day We got super lucky and the beautiful cottage was ready before our big day and we were so happy we decided to add that on, super cute little set up and really convenient for storage the night before and made it easy for us to enjoy our night knowing we only had to walk to the cottage instead of driving home. Not only are the venue and cottage beautiful, they are super affordable and well worth the price Kevin made this a very stressless process and we cannot express how grateful we are for him !! Thank you Kevin for everything I will forever recommend you to anyone I hear is looking for a venue!! Kevin isn t just an owner, he is actively involved the whole day helping to be sure everything is perfect and knew exactly how to get the party going and made it very fun for us ! 1000/10 recommend having your wedding here we had a blast and it was everything we dreamed it would be and more! We even donated some of our decor to the venue for future weddings since we were given the same opportunity from what previous weddings have left! We also enjoyed being able to go to the venue multiple times prior to our big day and getting to see all of the amazing plans for the venue come to life !!

Kevin was great. The whole experience with them was awesome. We had my daughter wedding there and it was great. Kevin helped us navigate the details without having to hire a wedding planner. I was impressed with the whole experience from beginning to end. And it was very affordable.

We had our wedding at weddings at lakeside on Sept 23 ,2023! It was so perfect ! The venue is absolutely gorgeous! Kevin was so wonderful he really went above and beyond ! My caterer was late and he called them and had everything handled so I wouldn t worry! He was a Life saver that day! He really handles everything which was perfect for us it takes a lot of the stress away! I highly recommend him and his venue to everyone! The prices are the best for all the things that is included couldn t have asked for a better wedding day! Thank you so much Kevin!

I wish I had an experience to share .. should have but something went wrong.. .life I is filled with regrets... but life doesnt end because of them,..my rating isnt becAuse of the facility but because of the regrets. I cant help but to believe that maybe one day my wedding will be held In a place such as this. Weddings at lakeside is such a beautiful place to have a wedding or any event! I got married here 3 days ago and I just can t stop looking at my photos and videos! It was so much fun! Kevin is very helpful and understanding when it comes to planning! You can tell he really cares about the happiness of the couples that book here! 10/10 PS. He s an amazing photographer! From the beginning, with the tools and resources he provides, Kevin made the whole wedding planning process so much easier! I think the hardest part was deciding on the music we wanted played, and he even has the music ready to pick from! Very convenient that he is also the officiant and the DJ! Where to start.... Our big day at Weddings at Lakeside was one for the books!! We could relive it over and over! Kevin just made everything so easy for us to plan and had everything down to the T of what we wanted for our wedding day. He made great suggestions and things we never even thought to consider were all lined out for us. He went the extra mile for us and everything was so perfect!! To say the least, the experience was amazing and stress free!! The photos came out so beautiful and our friends and family had such a great time! Even the kids were entertained! Kevin with Weddings At Lakeside made our wedding go on without a hitch! Everything was more than what we expected and was so so personal. We met a few times before the wedding and Kevin knew exactly how we envisioned are wedding and gave us so many pointers. Kevin and his crew were amazing to work with. We used the venue for a bingo night fundraiser and just the setting and atmosphere of the venue made a simple fundraiser seem like a fairy tale. The elegance of the room was phenomenal. We served food and the set up with ideal going in one door, down the line, and out another door. Kevin was not pushy or demanding of any of the services he offers at the venue. He truly just wanted us to have the best night! 100% recommend for the beautiful venue and Kevin.

We had our wedding there and everything was SO perfect. Everything was beautiful. Love that there s a separate room for the food/ drinks so it s not in with the guests. Different arches to pick from as well as different tables. The get ready room was so cute! And the view is just gorgeous! Kevin helped out every step of the way with the schedule which we appreciate SO much since we were all over the place. He kept everything running smoothly. Couldn t recommend them enough!

Kevin knows what he is doing. He helped our wedding run smoothly and made sure to follow all of our wishes on how we wanted things done. He was punctual, affordable and a great communicator. Even through COVID, he made arrangements to reschedule our date without charging extra, unlike some of our other vendors. On top of all that he is fun to work with! Thank you, Kevin!

Only gave 4 stars as we havent used this place yet. I will say that Kevin is very personable and is a pleasure to deal with. Its a nice rustic setting and he has a lot to offer with people hes associated with to make your wedding easy. Im certain Ill be changing to 5 stars once we use him, but 5 stars have to be earned with me. But seriously go check him out and what he has to offer, I dont think youll be disappointed. 6-27-22 Update Well I am happy to be able to come back on this review and update it to 5 stars. We held our vow renewal yesterday afternoon with Kevin @ the venue and I was very impressed with his professionalism and organization that he put into our ceremony. He didnt leave any stone unturned and made our 25th anniversary as good and even better in some aspects than when we were initially married. We had an absolute blast and more fun than I can remember having in recent memory. Do not hesitate to use Kevin and his venue for your wedding or any other celebration plans. He is the utmost professional host and goes beyond what people would expect.

Kevin and his daughter did an amazing job DJing and MCing our wedding. I highly recommend him and would use him again in a second. Easy to work with, included everything I requested, kept me updated during the wedding, kept us on schedule, and even sent us a super cute video clip he made at the end of the night. Kevin did not officiate our wedding, but our actual officiant forgot to sign our marriage certificate prior to leaving. Kevin very willingly signed it at the end of the night without hesitation. We greatly appreciated your services!

Kevin & his team are truly the BEST! We hired Weddings By Kevin to be our officiant, DJ,MC up lights and photo booth! Kevin is very organized and kept the day moving. He was very personable and professional. They had our dance floor packed the entire night which is what we wanted! The up lights were beautiful. The photo booth was a huge hit! We even got to choose the background for the photos. Tons of props as well. The actual wedding was smooth, perfect officiant! The team even took candid pictures that our photographer didn t even capture! Our day was exactly what we envisioned!!! They went above and beyond!!! We are SO grateful for Kevin!!!!

I have had the craziest day, but I have to give credit where it is due. Weddings At Lakeside absolutely took my wedding day and saved it! I was 2 days before my outside wedding, the weather was showing cold and rainy, and our whole family was searching Facebook for an inside venue available in the area. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but the people that own it are people you don t come by everyday. They were so nice I was like, Is this a scam??! They are accommodating, sweet, and genuinely care about your wedding experience above ANYTHING else. I will never be able to recommend them enough and I so mean that. These people are the give you the shirt off their back type people. I am so excited to have my wedding day here. If you ever have an event, please give them a call! They saved my wedding day

Everyone says their wedding was the best day of their lives, but Kevin truly gave us the BEST day! Our wedding was delayed a year due to the pandemic, but it was worth every second of waiting. Kevin is professional, helpful, patient and a great communicator. He is a super fun MC, helped everything run smoothly and ensured we were not worrying about anything. Wow, from the first moment we asked Kevin to meet with us for an interview he was professional, kind and courteous. He answered all of our questions, explained his entire process, and he was super easy to work with. We knew we had our guy right away! We just wanted Kevin for his great DJ services at first, but his super kind and easy going self made us want him as our officiant as well. He was not push at all and he explained what the next steps would be if we wanted to book with him. He said if you wish to book me, take some time and think it over and then feel free to ask me any questions when you get home, and if you wish to proceed you can pay the deposit to my account and I will forward you the contract. The packages he had for DJ and Officiant was such a great deal, and his reviews were so amazing that we felt comfortable booking him. From his first couple follow up emails after we booked him we knew we had made the right choice. He was so informative and super responsive, he never took more than a couple hours to respond to any email or text. His quality of service is an A+ 5 STAR. He helped us through the forms and then entire process. He went out of his way to meet with us for walk throughs and then drove a long distance to our venue the night before the wedding for our rehearsal, he operated the entire rehearsal which was super helpful and made us feel at ease. The day of the event was outstanding, he made sure everything went super smoothly, he knew exactly what needed to be done and when. Even though we had a photographer, she had to leave early because she went over her billed hours...and guess what Kevin did? He took out his professional camera and began snapping photos so that we didnt miss any memorable moments of the night (and he provided these to us the next day at no charge.) Kevins billed hours ended and our party was not over, so he asked if we wanted to go into overtime and he stayed extra with no problems or gaps in partying. Your DJ for your special day and your event for your special day will make or break it, with Kevin and Lakeside I can guarantee that you will have no hiccups or regret. I would hire Kevin a thousand times over again, and cannot thank him enough. Thanks again Kevin; Kyla and I wish you continued success...keep doing what you do best!

Kevin did a phenomenal job being the DJ at my wedding. He helped with deciding song choices and stuck with the genre of music we decided upon. We had a friend officiate our wedding, but Kevin went out of his way to help our friend and then MCd our entire party. When we decided to playusic for am extra hour past our contracted time, Kevin was all for it. I highly recommend him! I met Kevin when he officiated and DJd my brothers wedding and then he a month after that, he officiated my fathers funeral. He is a man of many talents and has a way of making everyone welcomed.
