Its a very fun and nice place for children under 5 years old. We have held two awesome birthday parties but the time was only 2 hrs for each party and they rush your guests out of the party room as the other one is coming. I really hope it could be for 3hours per each party. Another recommendation would be for their operating hours. It ends at 4pm every day and closes on Sundays. See most of our kids go to daycare or school that dismiss them after 3pm or later. Its like if your children are in school the only day for them to visit the museum is Saturday. So I canceled the annual membership after the second year as we only visited the museum a couple times through out the whole year...I hope the museum can stay up till 5pm like most museums do. We really love this museum and hope this review and recommendation can get some attention from the owner or operating director.

This is a wonderful museum and we were really enjoying our time there. Unfortunately, one of the employees felt it was okay for her to comment on how my son raises his children. Whether she agrees or not, it is not her place while she is on the clock to make any comments to that.

Decent place for your kids to come. Wish the doctor and the dentist exhibit would have more to offer the kids, it s not very big in general, the best thing they have to offer is the legos and blocks for your kids to play with or build. But for the price you can understand why it doesn t have much to offer

This was our first visit to the museum. We traveled about an hour to Beaumont and it was well worth the drive. Our kids (3yo, 6yo) had a blast with each exhibit and are already asking to go back. With only a $6 admission price, well be back several times!

This is a great place for children and the adult child at heart. There are plenty of block building and dinosaurs. The best part was making a paper airplane and launching it. On this visit was a Harry Potter theme and scavenger hunt. The children won little prizes for completing the hunt. Plus, they got to make potions and color changing slime. Lots of fun!!

This was our first time going to Beaumont Childrens Museum. We will definitely be back. We were there about 2 or so hours and my 16 month baby didnt want to leave. They have a section for 4 years and under. They have many stations that kids can play at. You can have birthday parties there as well. That is something that I will consider for my babys birthday in February. Be prepared to be worn out after leaving!

We love coming to BCM. We did a summer camp this year and my daughter loved it. They made crafts, got to see and touch real, live animals and had time to play in the museum each day. The teachers are so patient with the kids. We also did the spring weekly homeschool workshop and have signed up for the one this fall as well. Its a great place to come play and learn.

$6 per kid is fine for what it is, it s pretty much paying to play with someone else s toys in the AC. My 7 and (autistic) 5 year old stayed busy the whole two hours we were there and it s not as overwhelming as the big one in Houston. Well contained for elopers, engaging for neurodivergent kiddos, not too crowded. We ll be back!

Tried to go to their Easter egg hunt. They should really tell people there is a possibility of reaching capacity. My toddler is autistic and change almost always results in a huge meltdown, which is exactly what happened. Give more information

Definitely better than the last time we went. In the past it was kind of dirty and a lot of the activities were either broken or missing many parts. It seems like they are working on improving it and updating the older things. I still wish there was more staff throughout the play area. Sometimes its a free for all and theres no one to regulate and enforce a few rules.

1:30pm on a Friday seems like a good time to visit. It was a slow time and a good time for the kids to play with more items. Drink water before coming in unless you are ok paying a $1 for a bottle. The water fountain has been taped on. Kids and adult tickets are the same price.

My 5 and 1 year old really enjoyed this place. We were there for 1 hour and my oldest did not want to leave at all. Only reason we left was because i was hungry. So definitely go with a meal in your stomach no food here. Really good place for kids to play inside!

Delightfully surprised! Theres a lot here for children of various ages to do, amazing for an area this size. Theres a pretend HEB to shop in, a pretend bank, large area of soft items to be stacked, knocked down and crawled over for toddlers and young preschoolers.....I havent begun to touch on it all. Well worth price of admission!

Always a great place to visit. My 4 year old loves the costume area to dress as a police officer, fireman and or construction. There is a doctors office setup to give exams, dentist office and pretend x-ray machine. Bank area and a Grocery Store, but currently the grocery store is under construction. Museum has a mat area with obstacle mats to climb over, crawl through, learn to walk on different height mats, and work on motor skills. Make sure to bring socks to play/walk on mats. Two building areas with large blocks. Painting area, digging for fossils, and so much more. The BCM offers S.T.E.M areas for learning and its been donated by local refineries, community organizations and local philanthropists. We are grateful for a wonderful children museum to serve our area for our children.

Camps are excellent for kids! Tons of staff and volunteers from Lamar too. They keep an eye on the kids and keep the place picked up (and ask the kids to help clean up too). My kids have always loved going.

We had never been before and heard good things. It there was a lot of things that didnt work, lots of broken toys, and very unorganized. My son loves going to HEB to go shopping and was looking forward to the HEB set up and pint size baskets, it was just a huge jumble of things, crushed boxes of products I know there were people in there picking up blocks and things, but it was still just really dirty. I really thought my 3 year old would enjoy it a lot, but i almost feel like he was too old for most of it.

So the first time we went it was a little chaotic, but so much fun! The employees were kind and the atmosphere was great. I wanted my husband to see how great it is so we went yesterday. It was totally different, in the worst way. Not one employee smiled, the girl behind the desk had a terrible attitude. The employees were all over the place telling kids to clean up while they were still playing and talking trash to each other about how much they hated work(including the volunteers). Just total party poopers. Our child even picked up on it. We did our best to push through but we were ready to leave shortly after coming. They had summer camp going and the teachers were hollering down the hallway at the kids. I really want BCM to do well but I m not sure if we will be going back until something has changed.

We drove a good ways for the experience, and we were a little disappointed about how small it was, but my boys 2 and 1 had the best time! They enjoyed themselves so much. We spent about 1.5 hours inside but for the price it was perfect. There was so many sensory and building activities. The place was clean and well kept. We enjoyed our time.

Would definitely be better if workers who are paid to help clean and keep the messes under control- would help supervise and do their part. But instead they stay up at the front, the the back is overran by running children and an overwhelming amount of toys everywhere. other children s parents SHOULD clean up their area when their child is finished playing. I ve had to clean up other children s messes Instead of their parents because they re not watching their children- instead of enjoying watching my own play. Do better parents.

It s a really neat place for kids to do so many activities. My grand children loved it! I have it a 4 because they could do some updating on some rusted things that are easy to replace (ie: kids xylophone, clip boards, cans in the H-E-B store) other than that it was great!! Definitely will come back!
