Shout-out to the bar tender tonight, she made us feel very welcomed with her exceptional service and recommendations. I wanted a light drink, the mojito was perfect. The flautas were tasty and not over fried. The rice could use some more flavor, and the cake was a little too sweet. However, the size made it worth it.

The food was okay. The restaurant was very loud. Service was slow, but I think the waitress might have been new. Beer was cold, but the mixed drinks were not good. Overall, I was disappointed. Ive had much better service at this location. Hope your experience is better.

The food and service were great. Any staff we interacted with were very friendly. Our server provided excellent recommendations and even brought out a sauce sampler to help decide what we wanted on our food. Will definitely go back and try more of their offerings. Parking: Big lot with decent sized spaces, shouldnt have to worry about door dings unless a driver just plain sucks.

This restaurant chain does not disappoint. Always great food and drinks. The service was a little slow but it was a busy night. I am looking forward to being back and having another great meal. Edited 06-11-2022: the beef fajitas have gotten tougher but the chicken fajitas remained the same (which is a good thing). The service has improved greatly. I will defiantly go back.

The craziest experience ever, something Ive never witnessed at a Restaurant. Its absolutely disgusting, in my opinion.... Completely over capacity and definitely understaffed equals complete disaster. Walked in trying to pick up an online order and I notice the cheese Dip in the sink being served out under disgusting dirty dishes. I had to take a 2nd look at what was going on. Canceled order and walked right out it was unsanitary for the most part no way its still up and operating.... My Experience....

I wasnt happy at first, but when the second waitress came through, she did a great job. At that point, I was already almost done with my meal, but she definitely improved the night. I cant say I enjoyed the food, but I did enjoy the atmosphere, and the fact that my waitress took the initiative to make my night better with my four-year-old. Kid-friendliness: Its cute. Kids will love it.

I called 2 weeks ago to ask if we could make reservations the manager was very sweet. Edit to the day of as she mentioned to just call and be put on the wait list. So then I called Friday afternoon around 3:30 about having a group of 11 around 7:30. They mentioned no reservations that we would be put on a waitlist. The host on the phone was a really nice gentleman. However when we got there is when everything went downhill. They said they couldn t accommodate a table for 11 that we would have to wait another 30 min. I chose this place as a celebration of life for my dog that passed away. It took nearly 15 min for us to even get service once we finally sat down. They ran out of margaritas so a few of us didn t get our frozen margs. Then it took about 45 min to even order. We arrived at 7:30 and left at around 10. Everything took forever. There was hair in our tortillas. Half of us didn t even get our food on time. We all ate in different times. None of us finished our food. The chips were stale. I was so excited to eat here but the service/food has gone terribly wrong. It was like one thing after another. None of us finished our food. Our server kept forgetting things and she kept saying she would come back as she had to help her other tables first. Terrible experience, still tried to make the best of it for my dog s celebration but I don t think we would come back here. All of our tabs were over $80 and it was just horrible.

We had Dillion, and he was very sweet and did a great job. Seems like a great kid. Music was so loud and so obnoxious! We could not hear each other speak! Not all your patrons are 20! Food was marginal at best. I only ate about half and so did my husband. Would not go back.

Ive been going here off and on for years and today will sadly be the last day I step foot in this establishment. We received the worse service Ive ever gotten at a restaurant. Drinks were left empty several times, the kitchen was ridiculously SLOW on preparing our food, the queso came out barely above room temp, my meal came out with some lettuce and raw tomato garnish that wasnt in the description, and we went through 3 baskets of chips before our meals came out and we were waiting for a fourth and it never came out. Talked to the manager about what happened and he pacifies us with a chips, queso and salsas to go. The manager didnt do a very good job of extinguishing the fire. If I was by myself, I wouldnt have paid for a damn thing after I opened my big mouth. I refrained because I didnt want to embarrass my girlfriend. Best of luck to anyone wanting a quick bite.

We had an exceptional experience, thanks to our wonderful server, a young lady who truly made our visit enjoyable. Despite arriving during a busy lunch rush, she ensured our drinks and chips with salsa were constantly refilled, keeping us comfortable while we waited for our meal. I ordered the beef enchiladas topped with queso, accompanied by refried beans and rice. The food arrived hot and delicious, exceeding my expectations. The mango margarita (on the rocks) was also delightful; it had a subtle taste of alcohol but definitely sneaks up on you. While parking at this location could be improved, the quality of the food and the attentive service make it worth returning. Overall, a great dining experience!

It had been a while since I visited Chuy s and now I remember why. I guess to be fair, all was well until the interaction with the manager came to the table. Zero customer service skills whatsoever and had no intention on actually listening to an answer for a question that he asked in the beginning. What would be the purpose of asking a question if you don t care to listen to the answer? Chuy s Facebook posting for National Tequila Day is was brought us in however when we received our bill we didn t have the happy hour deals on the ticket. I spoke to the waiter to inquire about the queso and margarita specials to see if this was a mistake on our part or the system to which Jay was unaware so he did ask us to allow him to go ask. Our table was then approached by a manager which I am told his name is Jeanaro which I am sure I am not spelling correctly. While trying to explain what I saw online, versus what was on our tickets he kept immediately wanting to cut me off, and then began getting very upset and trying to be intimidating to which for sure did not go over well for me. He tried explaining that this special was NOT all day however the post was clearly saying the specials were ALL DAY. If this was not something being honored at this location, he could have easily explained that to us without being confrontational about it, to which I am not sure at this point he s capable of. Although in the end this manager felt like he rectified the situation, in my opinion he did not. When dining out, I can pay for what I order. Taking $5 off my bill was not the answer. Help a customer understand the specials and pricing as asked. Don t just assume customers want money off a bill to attempt to make them happy. What a way to ruin a dining experience for a party of 5 that would potentially come back to patronize this establishment. I mentioned a few times that I could not believe the place was empty but after this I completely see why it is. Which sucks because I love patronizing my Shenandoah businesses. Do better Chuy s. Or should I say Jeanaro please do better!

Had a great time and love the atmosphere the staff just always leaves me questioning how they feel about their job. I didnt get my drink refilled at all and we had to ask for the kids refills and my wife asked 3 times for her side. They seemed decently busy but very calm to forget so much or just not check in on your tables. Kid-friendliness: Typically take care of the kiddos coloring and take home cups are both positives

Two recent visits, one using the curbside service and one dining in. Food was excellent on both visits, very flavorful and fairly reasonable cost. Restaurant can get very busy at peak hours, but the staff typically does an excellent job keeping things moving. Curbside system is very simple, just interacting through text. Traffic can be brutal at rush hour, give yourself adequate time to get to the restaurant. In both visits our food was excellent. The burritos are huge, queso is excellent as well.

It s Friday so I expected a wait and was greeted with a 15-20 minute wait that turned into 40 minutes. Apparently the kitchen became overwhelmed due to a large party and take out orders. Management failed their customers and waitstaff tonight as it took 1hr and 50 minutes to get out food after we arrived. That being said our food was very good once we got it.

My husband and I came here tonight after calling and putting our name in the list. We got here and had to wait for like 30 minutes when we were told the wait time would be 15 minutes. We got our table, were served chips and ordered our food. 50 minutes passed and nothing. We waited for almost an hour and decided to just leave because this is unacceptable. The restaurant was not even busy at this time and waiting 50 minutes for a fajitas for 2 people is not okay. We left because we couldnt just keep waiting... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Each time I come, Im reminded why I shouldnt come back. This last time was especially bad. I was told for to- go orders to go to the bar. I sat there for about 10 minutes before I could get the bar tenders attention. He looked annoyed and told me that I had to wait for to-go. I was so confused and asked if to-go was a person and he said yes and left. He finally came back several minutes later to take my order and said they had 10 orders before mine. He also stated hes not the person who should be taking my order but everyone is busy. He was a black man with glasses but I did not catch his name. The poor man next to me was given his food without silverware and had to wait a long time just to get someones attention. I finally asked for him. Our piña coladas were mostly foam that melted right away and the cups werent even filled to the top. This experience makes me not want to return...ever!!!

Service was excellent! However, this was by far the worst food I have had at a tex mex place. I took 2 bites of my enchiladas, one bite of the beans, one bite of the flautas and sent my food back and left. Absolutely unedible! The tex mex sauce tastes like wolf brand chili. Fathers day 2024 out to eat adventure was a fail! My stomach still feels nauseated. NEVER again. EVER.

My husband and I came on Sunday evening and sat outside. The string lights make it feel so cozy. Sometimes outside seating can be iffy on service, but Hunter was amazing! Rice was bland and had bo flavor, beans were okay, tortillas were bad as well no flavor, queso was the only good thing about this place, drinks did not have that much alcohol, enchiladas were hard , FAJITAS WERE THE MOST HORRIFIC THING ABOUT THIS PLACE, They had no flavor at all. We had a birthday party and failed to call ahead to reserve a table(that was our mistake), then we waited one hour and twenty minutes with fifteen people for a table to get set up. Then we ordered and waited forty five minutes for our food to be served. By the time my food got to the table the enchiladas were hard and unchewable, the beans had already turned dark brown on top and were cold, and the cheese sauce had hardened and turn hard. My taco was soggy and fell apart and I didnt even try to eat it. The only good thing about our visit was the server named Jace M..... He made the evening tolerable , was very friendly, and always ahead of the game with chips and drinks. For that reason alone I was able to have at least a little food. We will not repeat this experience again....

Although the service was good the food was underwhelming. All the food was served lukewarm or cold, it lacked flavor and the steak in my bowl was raw which I was never asked how d I liked it cooked in the first place. Compared to what it used to be, their menu is now basically bar food. No fish tacos, very limited options, tortillas taste like they took them out of a package instead of off the grill. Considering this is Texas, and we have so many amazing Mexican and Tex-Mex options, I will skip Chuy s. Our server was amazing, and he did his best to make up for the sub par food. We tipped him well and determined we d do Johnny Tamale next time.

went during the week for dinner on our sons birthday. We understood they dont do birthday celebrations but to not offer him dessert when dessert is part of the kids meal he had. Kid-friendliness: My son didnt get his dessert that comes with the kids meal. We thought about that on the way home so ask because you will not be asked.

Unfortunately only 2 stars tonight. Service was off tonight. We ordered curbside, which we always do. Our food wasnt ready until 25 minutes after the promised time. We counted 4 entree containers which is the right number of dinners. When we get home two of the entrees were missing sides. Also the tacos of those two entrees were noticably colder compared to the steak burrito and comida deluxe. Called and said we were coming back. We headed back to pick up the missing sides. Now heres my biggest issue; we tipped for the curbside and why? Why do we get asked to tip in advance before we know if it was merited. I think if you are packing curbside and you dont fulfill the order tip isnt earned. Tipping should be after; maybe takeout restaurants should send an email asking for gratuity after deserving service is rendered. Im considering not tipping in future for curbside especially when I am responsible for accuracy and returning to get my order corrected. I guess lesson is check order thoroughly before leaving the restaurant. 2 stars was for the good Comida Deluxe and the Steak burrito.

I know Tex Mex isnt really known for a lot of flavor, but this tastes like they took Mexican food and ran it through the dishwasher. Not a dash of salt or seasoning to be had. I had steak fajitas, and my date had a Chuy-changa (tasted like funnel cake with cheese). Marks were also weak. I say this as a person wishing the absolute best for this business- Please figure out whats going on, I hope for you to succeed. I will say for positive, it was well staffed, clean, and our server was good. Staff looks really helpful all over. Best wishes, but I dont plan to return. Maybe once again in a few years to see if it improved.

What can I say. It is, hands down, my favorite Mexican restaurant. Honestly, it might be my favorite place to eat; period. Service is always exceptional. Food is amazing. And lets not forget about their creamy jalapeno dip that you get.... Wait for it, for FREE with tortilla chips. Im a huge fan of queso, but dang. This changes my world. I do end up buying the 32oz tub to take home with me as well. Which also comes with a free bag of chips. Their specials are always top notch. I have never been sad going here. My girlfriend and I are basically dancing in our seats with every bite. 11/10 recommend.

1st visit to this location. Everything was great! Chips, jalapeno ranch salsa, compueso and more. The servings were large enough to have leftovers. Our server was very attentive and on top of things. Would definitely recommend if you like Mexican food

Took about 40 minutes to get our food after ordering, was some of the most bland, basic Mexican food I have ever had, on top of all this, it was deafening inside, I had to yell to talk to my dinner mate. Overall a horrible dining experience, I would have rather went to Taco Bell.

Today was a first for me. I love Chuys however today s visit I had to ask several times to several different people if I could get a table cleaned. Then I just ended up cleaning it myself. When the guy came back over to clean it he starts cleaning the table behind us, I didn t have to go ask the bartender for a wet rag to wipe down the table to finish cleaning it myself. Other than that the food was good

Salsa and chips are amazing - my familys favorite. Their burritos are big, delicious and not at all expensive (didnt yet increase their prices despite 3 strait years of inflation :). we usually order to go because the floor layout isnt the greatest atmosphere.

Seriously, I have never been charged at any other Chuy s for extra white dipping sauce in the minuscule container .this Chuy s charged more than 10% of the cost of the meal for an additional 3oz container of dip!!! Next time I order TO GO and get charged for DIP that s FREE if I dine in, there won t be a tip included. Your fajatis are great, but whatever manager came up with this insanity is about to lose a customer over DIP that you provide for FREE in house.
