My Locs sandwich was good, but not great. The cream cheese was not enough and the capers were missing. Brioche was delicious & lots of salmon. It was good, but could have been better. Service was a bit slow.

Save your money and time... I had high hopes for this place, but my optimism wore off immediately when we werent greeted upon arrival (even though standing 5 feet from cashier), and it took a good few minutes for her to acknowledge us with a what can I get for you?, not even a hello. Got 2 turkey sandwiches, that were a majority bread, with a side of plain Lays chips. Turkey was slimy and wet and sandwich was comparable to subway.

So Ive been coming here off and on for years, Ive recommended this place to numerous people. Recently I was given sub par food on an item Ive always ordered. When I called to inquire about the food the girl I spoke with ( smaller, brown hair, arm tats) had the audacity to ask if i had ordered the food before. Yep sure have its my favorite. Sorry I said *ucking in an verb form to you and you got offended thinking I cussed at you. The attitude is high and mighty and sad for a place that is about health and calmness. Im not saying dont go but maybe go to The Blue Dahlia instead. Even my BF who ordered had an issue with her, hes never taken back by people. Thanks Mason for not being there 7mins after I spoke with you. I did get a refund but I personally will stick to the farmers market and will never go back. I know it does not matter since you have a following. You can see in the photos the food quantity has gone down and honestly the quality! (The burrito is smaller than normally as well.) I ended up at Palms Cafe2, theyre an AMAZING LOCALLY owned restaurant off of 123 east of 35. Spent more there than I did at R&D because I ordered food for lunch as well since I WFH today.

This was my second visit to this establishment and ended up purchasing several breakfast burritos. They were quite delicious and very filling. Last time I visited, I purchased lunch and had the chicken pesto sandwich which is hands down my favorite sandwich. If you have not tried this cafe, I highly recommend you make a visit and try out some delicious food.

The Radish and Dill is a great quaint Café style eatery that exemplifies great food. The Farm Fresh Prosciutto is easily the best sandwich I ve ever had. The fresh bread, great meat, and the sweetness that compliments the bread is just perfect. It also comes with chips and is all around a grab price for the amount of food you get. Also tried the Aqua Fresca and it was excellent. Cant say enough good things about this place!

OK, I thought long and hard about this review and how to present it in a way that was positive although we had a negative experience. We visited this restaurant about three weeks ago and my son got a chicken Caesar salad. He has a nut allergy , which is why Caesar salad was not a big deal because has Caesar salad often. This particular Caesar salad had homemade dressing that was made with nuts which was not disclosed on the menu. After two bites of it, my son realized something was not right and his throat started tightening. He went to the restroom and I immediately told the person at the front, what was going on and asked if there were nuts of some sort and she did not know and had to ask the person in the back kitchen area and he responded that there were nuts in the dressing. I requested a refund just for his meal and she proceeded to tell me that I should have let them know that he had a nut allergy just as I would in any other restaurant. I told her that the presence of nuts in a Caesar dressing is not typical nor could you see them to know that there were nuts in there if they are crushed up. It s not some thing that I am usually concerned about. My son is OK. We gave him an EpiPen while we were there and he is fine. Fast forward to today I went in to check to see if they had adjusted their menu to include that there were nuts and the dressing because I did recommend that to her so that others would know and they did, adjust the menu so I am thankful for that. I was quite disheartened when I received kind of abrasive attitude from the owner, but I am glad they changed the menu to reflect that there are nuts and the dressing for future reference. I also really enjoy their turkey sandwich so I was really disappointed that I might not be able to frequent this local restaurant because of the service I received

Came by for lunch as I was in town for a conference and was looking forward to the gluten free sandwiches that is mentioned in other reviews but to my surprise, when I asked about it, they said that they don t think they have gluten free bread for today. As mostly a sandwich shop, to not carry a bread type that is on the menu is quite upsetting. I was really bummed as I was driving with excitement to have tomato basil(ok for a staple) with grilled cheese. No other recommendations was given, just we don t think and silence. Had high expectations but maybe next time the experience will be better. Must note that the atmosphere inside is very nice and relaxing!!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free- not available at 12PM on a Wednesday.

Even ones that weren t were easily tweaked to become vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: I found the owners and staff very educated on different dietary needs and allergies. I trust trying new things here because the quality of the things I have tried before. Yum!

Radish & Dill catered our 130-person wedding and we LOVED having them and the food was amazing. We had a fully vegetarian meal and appetizers and drinks. We worked largely with Nick who we absolutely loved--as soon as we hopped on a zoom call with him we felt super at ease about everything. Nick built a menu with us around our budget and preferences and was genuinely excited about cooking new things--we just couldnt have enjoyed the food or experience any more. We also ended up having Radish & Dill staff support for some of our other events. The vibe Nick and Jenna bring is AMAZING and the food is fantastic--all our guests raved about it. Sadly we ended up with very few photos but the food presentation was beautiful :) We cant wait to stop by the store front and say hello when were back in town :) Vegetarian options: They helped us build a fully vegetarian menu :) Dietary restrictions: They were super accommodating to our guests dietary restrictions!

When I tell you the cheddar chive scones are the best scones. I mean ever. In the history of scones. These are the best. Because I get them SO often I have noticed the tiniest inconsistencies in freshness and sometimes the dough appears more laminated than other times, which honestly should be expected and has never dropped their best ever ranking in my book. The s mores bars are insane. I ve never left without one if they re in the case. The salted pistachio oat milk matcha is my top favorite drink, but I ve enjoyed all of their agua frescas. The sandwiches I used to get don t seem to be offered anymore and I haven t tried the grab and go ones. But the Cuban was *chef s kiss* and the club was big enough to share. So grateful to have this delicious spot to enjoy regularly.

I dont typically write Google reviews, but-- I was just tasked with answering What is your favorite restaurant? for a get-to-know-you questionnaire. To which I say-- dang it. Hardest question ever. I searched my Instagram to see if pictures could help me answer, and my brain was reminded a memory. Ive said more than once, years ago-- My favorite restaurant is anything Chris Espiritu is cooking with Dee next to him baking. Now, these friends own a restaurant-- Radish & Dill. Its a place where you can grab a quick bite of fresh comfort food when youre hungry. Its also the best sandwich to bring in your dry bag when you tube the river. I recommend it to everyone coming through San Marcos, and not just cause Im friends with the owners. Ted, Chris, Diana, Nick, and the team bring a specific level of heart & soul to SMTX. To the recent review writer who said I bet their restaurant will close soon-- I say: having any dream come into fruition (an idea, a restaurant, a creative act, whatnot) is a courageous pursuit. How bout try to sow a dream of your own. This whole Google Review writing might not be your best look.

I was in San Marcos for an appointment and decided to grab lunch. Found this gem through a google search. Ample parking and easy to find. I got a chicken salad wrap, tomato basil soup, salad and hibiscus ice tea to go. Service was quick and friendly. This is a really nice place I will definitely try dining in next time. The chicken salad was delicious with pieces of red grapes and just enough seasoning that it was more on the savory side. All the veggies and herbs in the wrap and salad were very fresh and tasty. The tea was also very good. I didn t get any bakery items but those looked equally delicious. Prices were good too. I would highly recommend this place for lunch.

I cannot say enough about how delicious the food is at Radish and Dill. The prices are higher because the quality is much higher than you would get a most places in San Marcos. I have never had bad service, in fact it is usually top notch. Drinks = fantastic (especially the hydrate elixir and the hibiscus agua fresca). The food is very flavorful and the portions are huge for us. I usually get something from their breakfast menu, which you can customize. My husband gets a sandwich usually and loves it. I even get food for my toddler, which is usually a challenge for me because most places dont offer healthy but tasty food for her age. I have gotten breakfast wraps and sandwiches from family/friends from out of town and everyone wanted to get more the next morning. With that being said, if you are looking for subpar food that will be ready within 60 seconds of ordering because its been sitting out all day, this is not your place.

Unfortunately a very negative experience. I really wanted to like it, but the food was over priced, their online menu was incorrect, and the food we did get doesnt have very good flavor. My sandwich tastes off to the point of just being a waste of $11 (for just a grilled cheese). Also while we waited we had waters and the straws were cracked all the way down, id guess due to some improper storage. They were chopping onions in the kitchen and it was so strong it irritated both my husband and Is eyes all the way in the dining room and didnt clear up until we were back in the car. The items in the shop were very expensive, such as the honey that was about $5 more expensive than a larger jar that you could buy at the farmers market. If you like the idea that spending more money is more environmentally friendly, this is the shop for you.

I would highly recommend Radish & Dill for any of your catering needs from a small birthday or baby shower to a large wedding. I know we will be using them again if we host any more events in the area! Our catering included a snack bar (for cocktail hour) followed by a main course including brisket, chicken, mac and cheese, potato salad, beans, salad, soup, and rolls with 3 drink options. Everyone complimented the food, it was delicious! Also, while we had our in-person meetings, we got to grab a delicious meal and enjoy it on their lovely patio. Friendly, clean, lots of options (but not dinner at this time). I d love to see these guys succeed in San Marcos as we have way too few whole food options here.

Delicious food in a place with great vibes and yummy-looking takeaway options. Nice-size menu full of top-quality options. Really enjoyed my first lunch here and will definitely return. They have outdoor seating and a fun little market offering artisanal items.

Yummy food and lovely atmosphere! The farm prosciutto sandwich is just so so good. Im not sure if its the fig jam or the house made aioli, but it all works perfectly together. Also, gotta try the Green Goddess pasta, just delicious. My kids love the fresh juices and yogurt parfaits. And the retail section has a great variety of fresh veggies, bagged chips/goodies and lots of eco friendly products. Their picnic accessory game is strong. This place is just what this side of San Marcos needed.

Went on a Saturday and had the weekend special, they were the Japanese Brisket Sliders and they were absolutely delicious. Luckily they sell the Japanese Barbecue sauce in their market so I was able to buy a bottle of it.

Radish and Dill went above and beyond on my catering expectations for a special birthday celebration. The staff selected our amazing menu not only that they hand delivered and presented it all with style and grace. This restaurant is a gem! The staff was super friendly, professional and very helpful. The food was amazing! Thank you for making our dinner so special.

I am blown away by Radish and Dill. San Marcos has been waiting for a shop like this for a while. Love being able to either sit down in the open, well lit atmosphere or grab something quick to go. I live 5 mins away and will definitely come in a couple of times weekly!

Need to work the kinks out, as it is a new place. Employees were not moving In a relaxed efficient way. Bread that came with soup was stale. Pricey!

This is the market and deli that San Marcos needs! Culinary expertise goes into deli favorites with a healthy twist. They have different specialty salads every week and each one is a flavor explosion. You feel more healthy leaving with nutritious energy. Nice decor and atmosphere, great bread and locally made market items, curated with care. Highly recommend you have your next lunch out here.
