The staff is friendly and welcoming. I dont care for the plastic utensils and plates they use. The cóctel de camarón tastes too much like ketchup. The catfish basket was delicious. Recommend the catfish basket. It will not disappoint. Parking: Plenty of parking available. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Family friendly.

The best seafood in Texas. The owners treat you with respect and are able to please you with food at your taste. Prices are what gets you to come back. Be ready to get a togo box because two can eat out of your order. Five stars is to little to rate.

Excellent Garlic Shrimp and Fried Catfish. Large portions and very fresh. Like actually being in a Mexican Restaurant near the Gulf.. Very nice atmosphere, very clean and delicious food. A large menu posted with pictures both in English and Spanish. Not expensive at all.

Even though the place could be updated and cleaned up, the food was amazing. My husband had the spicy shrimp special similar to a Louisiana meal with potatoes and all... and he said that it was great. I had the shrimp cocktail and the fish salad with a side of rice and my GOD was it good!

I went last night and ordered the del golfo caldo and the shrimp and fish caldo the food was horrible the caldo had no flavor it was basically a warm bottle of clamato with shrimp and fish that had no flavor at all same with the veggies in it , I would never recommend anyone to go and eat a marisco caldo there I got the large one for about 20 bucks each and I got a 20oz cup of warm clamato I mean I was so disappointed I mean never go eat there if ur looking for a good marisco caldo this is not the place go to ...now El pulpito in garland is awesome u will not be disappointed but this place sucked marisco caldo suppose to be flavorful spicy it tasted like warm sweet watered down ketchup and my wife said the octopus in hers was so disgusting as well as the oysters smh I never put reviews but this place really pissed me off

Plenty of parking. The restaurant sign was not visible. Upon arrival its not your typical seat down there is no host nor directions to be seated. Picture a fast-food dining experience. The food left more to be desired. We had a vuelve Ala vida cocktail, it was very Scarce on the seafood portioning, with very little octopus chopped in very tiny pieces, the shrimp tasted old, oysters were slim and few. It was a bit too sweet, The whole cocktail was overpriced. The Chipotle shrimp meal was way too spicy and did not come with any warning label. The shrimp was in a paste-like they just dump a can of Chipotle. The rice was mushy and under season the meal just had a generic feel and taste to it. You can tell the restaurant is cutting corners on its servings and quality. Just seem like all was premade and just thrown together.

First time here and we LOVED IT, clean place, good and fast customer service. Everything we had was delicious, micheladas were simple, but good. A bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it. Chipotle shrimp tacos are delicious, I cant stop thinking about them!, Del golfo soup was very good as well. Only com may be that theres no free chips and salsa as were used to, oh well. Overall, great experience, well be back for sure.
