A place for the whole family, mainly for the youngest members of the home. They have many activities so you can enjoy and learn about the animals, mostly those from the ocean and those that they have rescued, and every story about them.

Please just release the poor animals into their natural habitat. They do not deserve to be in large swimming pools. Dolphins and whales are meant to swim 100 s of miles a day. Not be confined to a 30m tank. Awful to see and totally outdated entertainment. Just release them and be done with all this nonsense! Anyone who visits this place for entertainment needs their head checking.

All of these places need to be shut down and never allow another animal to be imprisoned in a bathtub. Most can never return to the wild ocean where they belong. So they should only use sea world and other aquariums as rescue and protecrion centers. Please dont go to sea world. It is cruel what these whales endure. Its literally having the whole planets oceans as your natural home to being put into a bathtub for life. Shut down sea world.

Rides have been updated to if you wear vision prescription glasses you now HAVE TO REMOVE THEM ON THE RIDES! They dont even inform or give guests the option if they have glasses straps that they have, they then can only use it while on the rides. I waited over an hr on a ride, no issue for me but then to be told that I have to remove my glasses or I would need to get off the ride. I even told them I wear glasses to actually see, I was still forced to give up my glasses or get off the ride. I ended up leaving with my family super early because I was not about to walk back with my small kids since there was no ride supervisor to be found. I understand there is signs but it was not an issue over these past years and let alone the weekend before but for this past weekend it was a big issue so we just left because I was not about to waste any more time.

Always a good experience. We went for howl-o-scream. Every year gets better and better. They also have incorporated a system where there s a special light up necklace that you can purchase for small children or anyone who doesn t want to be scared. It s called a no boo necklace I believe. Great system! Always a great experience for us and we continue to go for every holiday experience.

I went to SeaWorld with my daughters and bought the season passes. They never mentioned the bay of play area was closed until 2025 as my kids are young they didnt have anything to do at sea world. I had called to request a refund since noting was mentioned about the closure. Not only did they have me on hold for hours they refused to refund my money with bad customer service and the manager milagro also had a bad attitude. I do not recommend you come here if you have small kids. I hope sea world sees this and works on the customer service as you have lost a customer that buys season passes frequently.

This video is the sound of my littles crying because all but two little kid rides are closed.. there are a total of maybe.. 9 rides open in the entire park.. I say maybe because some say they re open and then you get to them and they re closed. It says there are 12 open and so far three are closed when we go to them. It is criminal to charge people for a service and then not provide it. If you want your children to cry and be heart broken all wile walking a lot to find that the ride is in fact closed.. come to sea world! We drove 4 hours.. my husband took off two days of work for this .. we shall now go find a local park or something to hopefully enjoy some time!

How this park has 4-5 stars I do not understand. Be prepared to walk unbelievably far distances between any exhibits. There is no relief but the 20-dollar cups they sell for you to get a drink. There are no transport options. If you book a tour, you basically go on a hike to get to the behind-the-scenes area. They do not pick you up and take you. It s really impressive how little thought goes into the comfort of their guests. Yes, it is Texas it is hot but to walk as far as you do to see any shows etc it s not worth the time to come. The behind the scenes is very sad. You see the animals in these concrete tanks, and they want you to feel like this is because they are saving them. These creatures have been here as long as I have been alive and when you see that it is really depressing. Even more so when you realize how intelligent they are. I ve been to many large parks, and this was the worst I ve been to. Sadly, the food is terrible. The employees know very little about how to explain where things are, and you find yourself spending a lot of time figuring things out as to where are they and debating on if it s worth it to get there or if you should just go home. I m very disappointed and won t return.

We had a great time however most of the rides and other places were not open. We were disappointed that we paid full price for a partial park visit. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star review. I highly suggest paying for the ticket with the all day food option if you plan to eat/drink there. The food is priced high so with just a few items the all day dining is paid for. The theme seemed to be pirates and it didnt disappoint. The actors playing pirates were awesome. This trip was for my granddaughter and the pirates were so good to her. There was an owl she was able to see up close and she was allowed to pet 2 alligators. The handlers were respectful and kind to the animals as well as the people who were learning about them.

Seaworld isnt the awesome park it used to be. This used to be one of my favorite parks. Now, many attractions are closed. The shows have moved from entertaining to preachy. The humor is gone. The music is subpar. The storytelling in the shows was removed. The only exception was the sea lion show, which is still very good. Azul is gone. Many rides and attractions are closed, even for the busy labor day weekend. See pictures.

I had an amazing visit at sea world as a big orca/dolphin fan! Had great opportunities to talk/ask questions to a dolphin trainer right outside the Discovery Point dolphin enclosure. The dolphin enclosure itself was GORGEOUS. Amazing rockwork and I hope Sea World & other aquariums continue to upgrade and improve enclosures like this, they are very aesthetically pleasing for visitor and from what Ive seen the dolphins with these enclosures seem happier than ones with a more lacking enclosure (coming from someone with no experience working with/studying these animals, so take that with a grain of salt). I did the orca tour and it was awesome, 100% recommend if youd like an up close experience, cool pictures (they have a professional photographer as well), you get to ask the orcas to do trained behaviors/tricks (such as waving to you & vocalizing) and you can ask questions about them and their care. I also appreciate the railings separating visitors from being too close to the glass in the dolphin enclosure, as Ive noticed the dolphins at other aquariums without them can become agitated when visitors are too close. The animal shows were good aswell, I saw and loved the Belgua/Dolphin show and the Orca Encounter (so much so i went twice). Im a huge dolphin nerd so I already knew most of the information said about them during the presentations, but my family didnt and they learned a lot if new stuff! Great visit if you love animals & learning about them! Ps. You do not have to pay to enter the Discovery Point area that houses the bottlenose dolphins. It is free to enter! It is great to give children an opportunity to see these animals up close if you have the time but cant afford to buy a ticket (my trip was quite pricey)!

Very disappointed with my first experience at SeaWorld, paid for all-day dine in, and was not informed on any site or in person that Aquatica water park would be closed on weekdays. Not only was I the only person confused, but other groups of people were asking employees why the water park was closed off on a Friday? Paid full retail price $300+ expecting full access to ENTIRE PARK and had only access to one side of the park which consisted of just walking around because everything was basically closed.. not to mention paid $35 on top for general parking as well. Website shows no way to refund your tickets before entering the park. So we had no choice but to go in and walk for hours.

They wanna charge 90 dollars at the door so i got my tickets through groupon for 52 each with a meal included. This place is a joke! The employees are nice but this park needs an upgrade or something. 20 dlls for a turkey leg that was saltier than the atlantic and harder than my calculus exam years back. 50 dollars for 3 drinks. And the free meal? Old hard stale rice with salty beef and zero condiments. Other restaurants were closed. Idk i wouldnt be surprised if this park goes bankrupt soon. It probably already is. The shows are short and boring. The other little events going on are also boring. I would rather go to a free farmers market or peter piper pizza. I just hope the animals in captivity are eating better food than the one they sell to the public.

If i could mark less than a star I would. We came to sea world with our 2 year old grandson. Expecting to see more animals and shows. They do not tell you that the majority of the animal exhibits are for free at the Discovery point place. The only animals viewed in the paid entrance area are flamingos, penguins, puffins and the couple of turtles in a tank floating around along with the tortoises and alligators . The ocras were not available to view. We spent about 1.5 hr walking around the whole park in search of the animals. We had purchased the all day pass for the food which state desert comes with it, it did not! We paid close to 20 dollars for two slices of cheesecake and the food that was given was half old and half boiling hot. Half of the drink fountains were not working. They are not stroller friendly as they had signs that said strollers not allowed to many of the areas including the shows, so if you cant carry your child your out of luck. This park is over priced , pretty much your just paying to go in a brand name which in this case is sea world. Over priced amusement park! Do not waste your money! I would highly recommend going to the zoo instead of sea world. Parking is highly overpriced, its ridiculous. Sea world is for the children the prices should be more child friendly. Especially for families of multiple kids. Read all the negative reviews for sea world in San Antonio as they are accurate!

Giving you four stars. One star was taken off because of a negative experience with the security that checks bags. This was on 09/14/24 at 10:40am. I dont know what her name is but shes Latino and has black hair. She was on the right side of the arches checking bags. She yelled at me very ugly and demanded me to set my bag down. I did not want to squeeze between guests. I was going to wait for the person to move and then I was going to set my bag down. I come to this park all the time and spend my money here. Management should have a talk with her. Get to know very familiar faces that frequent your park a lot. Dont mistreat your pass members.

Very expensive. Food pass wasnt worth it. I paid $60 for each food pass (x2) average meal was 15$. The food was below average borderline sucked. Okay now with all the bad out of the way. The park was very clean and was truly an amazing experience learning about the animals. The shows were breathtaking.

Headsup! I went to Sea World today with my grandson and 3 rides in the childrens section - ( roller coaster, Abby Cadabe, carousel, and the splash pad)- are all closed off with a tall green barrier. Just sharing for your information

The dolphin and reef (sharks and shallow water fish) exhibits were amazing. If youre not going to be there all day, it would be a good idea to plan your visit around the orca show and beluga shows. There are only 2 shows daily of each. Also, wear good shoes, because Sea World is really big and youre going to do a LOT of walking.

Old, out dated and please change the music it reminded me of all the trainers that got killed at that God forsaken place. The food is disgusting do not buy it.

Love it, great place for the family. Gold season tickets, cheaper than 3 individual tickets for a summer visit, plus multiple perks.

DO NOT COME! All restaurants are closed and 50% of rides are as well, still paying full price and no warning of any closure or construction, construction happening in a small area and decide to close everything else in the park? Insane

Had a great day with our family. The rides were so fun and the sea lion show was hilarious. Even though it was super hot, we were able to find places to cool down.

SeaWorld is nothing like what it used to be. They wanted $18 for one slice of pizza. We paid close to $50 for two small meals. I wonder why Texas government is not looking into this as price gouging, since you re not allowed to take your own food/snacks inside.

The kids absolutely love this place. If I had anything to say, it would be pricing. Pricing for the quality of meals was not proportional. The selection was pretty much the same everywhere. Maybe this is my bank issue but every where I went to swipe my bank card, I was asked to use my PIN number. Aquatica was fun aside from some very rude patrons stealing our chairs after we left our towels and shoes on them. Otherwise, we love this place.

I took my boys on Labor day, and the 3 of us had a great time. The shows were nice, the childrens area was clean, and all the rides worked. We had a great time dancing with Elmo too!

Anyone who only keeps orcas in captivity should be ashamed of themselves! To actually take away the freedom of these amazing animals and make them do these ridiculous tricks is truly disgusting and degrading. They only do it because they are constantly hungry and only get food when they have done something well. Why dont people make themselves the attraction, but rather these animals, who definitely dont want to be there! Please think about it and inform yourself, because what is going on there is animal cruelty and has nothing to do with species protection. Money is only made there at the expense of the animals, most of which are behaviorally disturbed and traumatized. Its really sad what people are capable of.

Sea world infra is good, show options are well planned. Food is a trap here, they don t allow if you have allergies or dietary restrictions, and their menu with their vendors are a complete waste.. deep fried potatoes, pretzels, pizzas, all sodas with sugar packs in it and ice cream shops at all corners .. Not a great place for 40+

I did not like that only 1 water ride was running I think they should discount the tickets if not everything is working or offer some kind of refund since we wasnt able to get the full experience. Also I paid for the dine all day pass and it was worth it but at the bbq place the gentleman that was in charge of the meat was very rude, I had 2 kids an simply asked if they had chicken an he said the menu is above you which when I walked in I didnt notice but it wouldve been nice if he just said yes chicken nuggets or bbq chicken. An the pretzel place doesnt offer u a dessert u can get 1 item to eat an a drink when it specifically stated u get a meal, drink & dessert so that should be fixed. Other than that we still made the most of our day.
