*** be aware they will make your case last longer so they can make more money*** Took over a year to solve a case that should have been resolved in months. It felt like he was dreading the case just to get more money out of me. My case was dismissed due to him and his team not making any progress in my case for a prolonged period of time and on top of that showed up a few minutes late to a zoom meeting with the judge. Then attempted to charge me for having my case reinstated despite the court literally writing a document with these information which clearly stated it was the firms fault. The paralegal assistant try to gaslight me by saying the court just put that in the document to not look bad, now why would a judge lie in a court document??? I even contacted the court myself about the case and there was no progress and he was indeed late. Eventually I did not pay for having the case reinstated as there was clear evidence that I was not at fault for the court dismissing the case. But the fact that he tried to charge me for his mistakes says a lot about his integrity and morals. Also, the new paralegal, after Natalie left, had me contact my ex husband about things, if I could talk some sense into my ex husband I would have not hired a lawyer. But I had to do her job and contact my ex husband about signing paperwork. He is great for gullible people, if you aren t gullible don t waste your time.

Worst of the worst! For example wanted me to have a voice audio transcribed instead of just playing it in Court like my next attorney did and solved the issue immediately - two other examples is when had to pay $400 total $800 to show up for court when no judge was even available . Thinks people just have money and time to waste .

I highly recommend Daryl Gordon. From the moment that he took my case, he remained respectful, professional and focused on every minor detail to ensure a successful outcome. Extremely disappointed. I would give 0 stars if able. He gave me unrealistic expectations and all of my worst case scenarios came true. He told me only what I wanted to hear and made me believe it. If you do decide to go with him, make sure you only talk about your case when meeting with him. You get charge by the hour so when hes telling you his personal stories make sure you redirect because youll get a nice bill for all that time he spent talking about personal stories rather than your case. I really trusted him when I first met Daryl but I rather have an attorney that will be brutally honest rather than someone that made me believe unrealistic expectations.

You would be hard pressed to find a better law firm for a custody case. Daryl and his team (who are super friendly by the way) will work with you to develop goals and a strategy for reaching the best potential outcomes. This law firm took a situation I did not think I would ever recover from and turned it completely around. They are brutally honest from start to finish but they are also professional, intelligent and diligent. You may not like everything they tell you, in fact, I know you wont. I certainly didnt but in hindsight, Im not an attorney and if I was, Id be losing cases to Daryls firm. Try to remember youre hiring experts in family law and not a therapist. Do whatever they tell you. It will save you money and heartache. Definitely hire these people.

I hired Daryl Gordon to assist me with a divorce case that was full of lies and manipulation from the other party. I researched online for family law lawyers in near Dallas. Mr. Gordon s office set up a date for a consultation. During my visit, Mr.Gordon gave me valuable information regarding my case, and he also gave good and bad scenarios which helped me to get mentally prepared. We had a wonder conversation about my case which relieved a lot of my stress from the situation, and we talked about our similarities (i.e., diesel mechanic and duck hunting). I am sad to say that Mr.Gordon could not take my case due to the county that I needed to file in, but he will be the first person I call in the future.

I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Gordon since August 2017 and I thank my friend who referred me to him. He has not only guided me to understand the US law and its policies but also helped me to learn the responsibilities that come as a divorcee, as a single parent. He is THE BEST and most honest attorney you could hire. With his experience in the industry and with his location in Denton and Collin counties, he pretty much has worked with all the judges and lawyers serving these counties so you get some idea / know the style and thought process of the opponents. To say that Daryl Gordon is a great attorney would be a huge understatement He is absolutely the BEST!! In the state of Texas, it is a huge challenge for the father to be granted primary or sole custody of a child. Through a lot of hard work, a lot of hours and Daryl s superior knowledge of Texas state laws, my husband was awarded primary custody of my stepson. But, as many would say Behind a very strong man is a strong woman Daryl s paralegal, Sanette Hunter is absolutely amazing. She invested countless hours into the behind the scenes efforts that were critical in the winning of our case. Whether you are the Husband or Wife dealing with Divorce or Custody issues I highly recomend using the services of Plano Family Law. Daryl Gordon is extremely well versed when it comes to Texas family law and I appreciated his professional matter of fact approach. The head paralegal, Jean Skinner, is very responsive and kept me very well informed along the way. Throughout the process Plano Family Law earned my total trust. I did explore other counsel when I was looking to retain an attorney to help me through my divorce in the best interest of my two children. Not only did Daryl Gordon not charge me for my initial consultation, but throughout the process did not rack up my bill through litigation. I felt from the beginning that Plano Family Law had my family s best interest at heart and didn t just treat me as another client and invoice. It took a little less than a year from start to finish to close our case, in that time I was able to put all of my trust and confidence in Daryl and his staff, especially his head paralegal Jean Skinner, they saved my family s future. When I first retained Mr. Gordon, My ex-wife was attempting to leave the state with my children (in addition to ..) and not allow me any of my parental rights as a father. The end result is that my children will not have to be up-rooted and I have them 50% of the time, retaining the rights required to co-parent as a father.
