Attorneys can be like mechanics; hard to find a good one, let alone an EXCELLENT one. Brandon Sims falls into the excellent catagory. First of all, from the initial phone conversation I explained the details of my case and he immediately formed a proactive plan of attack. I hired him right away and he went right to work on it. Secondly, he was very responsive. He took my phone calls and answered my texts after hours and on weekends. I didnt expect him to do this but he DID. Ive never had am attorney devote that kind of personal attention. Ultimately the case was dismissed, I never even had to set foot in the courtroom. In May 2020, I wanted a defense attorney and happened to notice Adv. Brandon Sims s profile online. Impressed by his work profile, I hired him and from the first phone call, I had a gut feeling this guy would rid me of this case. I was under tremendous psychological pressure, and I was bombarding him with many questions about trifle things that are in no way connected with legal proceedings. All the points I put forward were just sentimental and they were not of any value in the court. I now realize, in addition to the court proceedings, he brilliantly helped me cut out the unnecessary worries I had with this case keeping my mind straight every turn of the way. At least two days before every court date, he and I would hash out all the important parts, discussing each breakthrough he found, reviewing how he will be approaching this case. He heard me out trying to clarify any points he might be missing, but through my long blabbers, he would take back useful nuggets and incorporate them in the case that he will put forth a few days after. He has been extremely professional ever since he took my case and has worked on it with extreme vigor. A few examples would be that he was always available through email and text and that he had never been tardy in our meetings or caused the court to be waiting for him. In my past, I have had unprofessional experiences of both of those issues with other lawyers and I was relieved that there weren t any additional problems that were created by my own party. One major thing to mention is that he helped me through this during peak Covid-19 pandemic and I am sure which was not an easy thing to do. Now, I am acquitted of all the charges completely and he is filing for the expunging of my case from all the records. I am deeply thankful for what Brandon has done for me and my family. If anyone is looking for a lawyer with extreme knowledge of the justice system and professionalism, Brandon is my answer to you. For such an enthusiastic industrious guy like Brandon, I don t think any review is required for him to be successful. Time will prove him to be one of the best criminal lawyers in the country. I have nothing but great things to say about Brandon. When I was first looking for a lawyer I had no idea where to start. I contacted a few lawyers and Brandon was first to reach out to me. We talked on the phone and I told him I wanted to meet in person with him but my work schedule was very hectic so he offered to stay late at his office one evening to meet me after work. We talked in person and he answered all of my questions. When you talk with him you can tell he s very knowledgeable and that he genuinely wants to help you. He offered a very good rate and was even flexible on payment options for me. Ultimately I got exactly what I wanted regarding my case. He is very hard working and he was always easy to reach by call or text. Usually responding in just a minute or two via text. I was very worried at first when looking for a lawyer that I d pay someone and then they d disappear on me once they got their money. Brandon did not do that. I was charged with a Class C misdemeanor. He was able to guide me through the legal process and convince the judge that i was not guilty on the very first court setting. In the end, my case was dismissed!!! I contacted many other lawyers in the beginning, and he was the only one to respond very quickly. This gave me comfort to know Brandon was serious and direct with my problem on hand. In the criminal justice system where there is a mix of lawyers that make promises , Brandon is one of the rare breeds of a good attorney that stand for the peoples right with true morals and value!
