Dead...nothing but older crowd. Music is old. Bars run down. Never coming back here. And bartender was racist. Charged my friend double for no reason. My friend was the only black girl there. Not for anyone under 35.

As an African American patron I have to say the more interactions I have with the owner the more I feel that he is definitely not for his people and his business practices are out dated and in some cases purely prejudice towards black people. Yes he is a black business owner. If you are black please please stay away from this bar. There is zero reason for us to support him.

I love this spot. Al is always gracious and hospitable. I love the old German shrunk behind the bar; that makes the mood inside. Im usually in after work and its a great spot that is quiet, good music and pool tables.

This is a great local bar that has character and fun rolled into one. Visitors to SA shouldn t let the exterior of the building keep them from going in. It s located by Lackland AFB and this side of town typically doesn t spiff up as much as other areas of the city. Looks here are deceiving.
