We came here on a Wednesday night, and we had a wonderful dinner here. The host Omer was attentive and the service was truly exceptional. We ordered Shrimp with Garlic, Hummus, Grilled Branzino, and Grilled Eggplant salad. Everything tasted so fresh, and we LOVED the Branzino. The chef made a special caper curry sauce for us to go with the Branzino, and it tasted really good. For dessert, we ordered Baklava and Turkish Flan, and Omer brought us complementary Turkey tea. I was so impressed with the Baklava, which were very well made. Each piece was filled with nuts, and not over sweet. Last but not least, the price was reasonable and the portion was generous! We definitely will come back to Selda, and we highly recommend this hidden gem.

Selda Mediterran Restaurant is a new wonderful surprise for San Antonio. Enjoy fresh, delicious Turkish dishes. I have not found one dish I didnt enjoy. Chicken, lamb, and beef Shish are a must try. Servings are a good size. There are many more offerings. The dishes are served with tasty rice and salad. Their bean salad is especially good. Top off your meal with a Turkish flan or baklava. Turkish flan is light and creamy, dusted with cinnamon. It is made fresh daily. The waiters are excellent, wanting to please their guests. Newly remodeled with royal blue seating. Outdoor seating offering shisha. Located in same strip center as Honey Baked Hams off I-10. Dress casual and enjoy a truly great meal!

Very good, great service and nice decor for a stripmall restaurant. I had the lamb shish which was tender, moist and not overly seasoned. The onion salad with tomatoes was good and the Turkish bread was excellent. The place has a full bar and a decent selection of wines. Im bummed I didnt get a picture of the lamb shish, but it is presented very nicely. I spent roughly $75 with having 2 glasses of wine.

Had the opportunity to visit with head chef Muhammad, table side about the seasonings, the preparations, and difference in working in a commercial kitchen compared to his home kitchen. He has been working in the states since moving from Istanbul six years ago. Working and training at Selda in Dallas, before opening up this location. Not traditional San Antonio fare and menu and such a relaxing wonderful distraction from the norm . Take the time to savor and enjoy. We had lunch at Selda Mediterranean Kitchen today, and ordered Lamb Chops and Anil Nazik. Very impressed with the quality of the food. Lamb Chops was perfectly grilled, juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Its served on a delicate wooden plate with rice, grilled tomato and chili pepper, and tasty bean salad. Ali Nazik was another highlight of the meal, featuring creamy eggplant puree topped with marinated lamb, so succulent and delicious. In addition to the fantastic food, Selda also serves excellent Turkish tea. It was aromatic and perfectly brewed, providing a delightful finish to the rich meal. Unfortunately this restaurant has changed its name and it has new owners as of July 2024. They have destroyed the original Sevin menu in order to reduce expenses. The sides no longer include grilled veggies, vinaigrette salad or pilaf rice, not even available as a side or appetizer. Now you get a cold bean salad with onions mixed in, instead of the grilled veggies and salad. Instead of pilaf rice, you now get a tasteless white rice. The excellent reviews and photos you see here are from the previous menu and owner. This once fabulous Turkish restaurant is no longer recommended after ownership and menu change. Both my wife and I were impressed with the great service and the amazing food at Sevin. We hade the Mixed Grill for two and it was more food than we could eat. Everything on the plate was delicious. First let me say that the people here bend over backwards to make sure you have a wonderful experience. We immediately felt warmly welcomed and valued. Second, the food was spectacular! Literally everything we had was delicious. We shared bites of our plates with each other so everyone could try all we purchased. As a foodie who was born and raised in San Antonio, I thought I had found all of the best restaurants in San Antonio already. I was wrong, because I had never been to Sevin. The food was so fresh and vibrant and flavorful. The recipes are clearly traditional and made with passion for both delicious food and true to the owners cultures. Dessert was amazing and has me drooling just thinking of them. The owner herself took care of us along with her kind and helpful waitstaff. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Highly recommend. Wow! my daughter found this restaurant on Google while we were on our way home from church Sunday. There were a couple Mediterranean restaurants that we looked at. Sevin had the less reviews but the highest rating. I see why. Very new restaurant but EVERYTHING from the greeting when you walk through the door was Outstanding! The owners & staff make you feel very welcomed and ensure you have the best, most pleasurable experience while you are dining. Oh the bread they serve before your meal is delicious. I had the Branzino and my daughter had the chicken kabobs. We also took bread home and an order of the falafel. Food delicious and made with care. We changed our dinner plans for Mothers Day and our family will be coming here.

The Tavuk Adana is really amazing here. I ve never had a chicken version of Adana (only the beef) and it was really tender and light. Everything was very fresh and healthy tasting including the Baba Ganoush and the grilled veggies. The Cupavice was a very interesting dessert which was like a moist cake with chocolate and coconut. The bread was amazing, but you cannot leave without having the assorted dessert platter with tea. It s so so great that we will sometimes go just for the dessert. We finally came in to eat at the restaurant after multiple amazing deliveries from Sevin I m so glad we did!! We already knew the food was great but we sincerely enjoyed the atmosphere!! Having the food piping hot was pretty awesome too! We had multiple appetizers, yogurt drink, the eggplant purée with lamb stew and the mixed grill. EVERYTHING was absolutely phenomenal and we already cannot wait to come back! We were so full so we got dessert to go-the mixed sampler and it is (also) just so good! The owners are just wonderful and I wish them so much success. We are certainly going to be regulars in person like we are for delivery!
