I had the pleasure of working with Wayne prior to undertaking a complete renovation of a house within McKinneys Historic District, and I couldnt be more impressed. Waynes professionalism and attention to detail are top-notch, but what really stands out is his experience in remodeling historic homes in McKinney. Wayne (the British Builder) is an excellent contractor. He is dependable and trustworthy. We were new to the area and needed a good contractor who could help us with improvements to our old home in the historic district. Wayne has many contacts within the city and has gone above and beyond to help us with necessary permits and projects. He is not the cheapest nor the most expensive, his prices are fair and the work high quality and honest, which is what you want in a good contractor. He is very fast with responding and starting projects. He even helped us with a plumbing emergency while we were out of country and he had it fixed same day. We trust and recommend Wayne wholeheartedly.

I recently purchased a house from The British Builder and it was the best experience ever. Wayne took care of the items that were noted in the inspection report. He recommended quality workers for the additional work I needed done after closing and he is always willing to answer any questions I have. Could not have been a better experience. We called British Builders about our front room wooden floor buckling. Wayne quickly came to the property and diagnosed the proplem. He was quick to assess and make the necessary corrections. He wa punctual, thorough and very professional. I will definitely hire him again.

Wayne reworked the exterior of my house over 10 years ago, and I still occasionally find myself admiring the result. There was significant wood replacement from water damage. The replacement was professional and in keeping with the house (100 years old at the time). He had custom finials fabricated which gave the house a classic look it hadnt had, and the whole exterior repainted.
