About what youd expect from a Dave & Busters. Did was good, nothing fancy. Lots of sports on the TVs. My biggest issue was with the service. The waitress would disappear for a while. It happened a couple times and they werent even that busy.

Server was inattentive so I went up to the bar to get a drink, I stood there for 15 minutes and none of the 4 bartenders acknowledged my existence or made eye contact with me. I saw three of them standing in a circle talking while only one worked. My girlfriend went up and was helped within a minute. Call it bad luck or sexism either way it s frustrating.

Was in desperate need of a job and was recommended and brought in by someone on staff. Did the interview with two managers, was offered the job. Was sent my offer letter and back ground check and completed both. A few days went by, no response so I called multiple times with no answer. I reached out to the manager who set me up with this job, was told they d let the correct person know to contact. A week goes by, still nothing. I messaged again and was told that they would tell the correct person again, a week later, no response. I m now on week 3 with no response from anyone. I see multiple posting from the managers saying this location is hiring yet yall hired me and I did all the proper work to get set up and no response? Doesn t make sense to me why you hired me yet did nothing when I completed my work. I think this is very unprofessional of them. I ve tried calling HR but the employee relations is not answering and every other options is benefits and they have stated they can t help.

I m retired military veteran! We had 2 American smasher burgers with 3 $5 appetizers for 3 adults and a child to watch the Dallas/Cleveland game @ about 3:50 pm. I came in early while the other family members and friends were touring Legoland for the 4-year-old Birthday party. The server was very unattended to my needs and didnt care! No silverware or napkins were brought to the table with the food or appetizers. When asked she said let me see if I can find silverware with a large napkin to put in my lap she failed to provide it and said they may not have any left. As I looked around there were several tables with silverware on them. Overcharged me by applying what appeared to be a homeless person I shared the table with while consuming my appetizer $5 (Nacho chicken dish) and waiting on the other adults and child. The waitress shoved the nacho plate on the table and left with no napkins at all. When I immediately tasted the stadium nachos the temperature was warm. 10mins later my other 3 guesses arrived we moved to another table. The fries portion that eventually came later with the burgers was very small for the price.$15.49. The Cheese fries for the other adult were cold and sent them back they brought back just regular fries that looked like they were old fries dropped back in the fryer overly brown not like the others fresh she refused to eat them because of the taste and look! Come on D/B Everyone knows anything about eating out and food service knows old fries from fresh fries. It just got worse after consuming my chicken Nacho cheese appetizer I was sick with stomach cramps and diarrhea for the next 2-4 days. I had the foul taste of the overly salted nacho cheese for 24 hrs after consumption. After I commented to the staff waitress and maybe the Chef/Cook, or manager approached me and asked me what was the problem. I explained several issues he removed one of the $5 charges. After reviewing the receipt and seeing the $56.07 bill I knew something was wrong. She added the I assume the homeless person to my check that we left hours ago while watching the completion of the game. I tipped the waitress 18% of the bill $8.74 she deserved much less after failing to provide napkins and eating utensils at the table even after being asked! She only brought back small drink napkins that you put your beverages on. Wasnt trained properly on waiting tables or just didnt care. She should be reprimanded for failure to comply with the customers needs. and sent to wash dishes! Maybe she was having an irritated bad day. But I was very cordial the whole time. Terrible experience here Ive been to other Dave and Busters on 410 N by the Mall and once worked as a food service inspector for a multi-million dollar organization. I noted that it was numerous servers working literally bumping into each other for the amount of tables and people there. I get it Everyone wants the easy job with tips maybe they should go into the kitchen and help the cooks IJS.

Server was super sweet but the fact that D&B ADVERTISES $5 bites all day, every day yet no one at this location knows that is ridiculous. I had to pull it up on my phone and even then was told we dont normally do it but youll pay $5. As if they are doing me a favor. I order the nachos and they did not put the chicken that is advertised. Once again, I have to show them on the website what it says is on the nachos. They take them back to add chicken and return cold nachos. And on top of all of this, my tea had a BUG in it! Definitely not the best experience and I wont be back or recommend.

Unreasonable manager and terrible food. My wife and I went late for their happy hour, we got 3 items of that menu and one a regular price. The food was terrible, fries were undercooked like they were fried as a pile and never rotated. At this point we were just ready to leave and look for some good food and our waiter brings the check and reveals that we ordered about 5 minutes before the start of happy hour and will be charged full price. He tried to slide right past it on the mobile pay station but I asked him to see if there was anything that could be done. He went to his manager, came back and said the manager said given the time it was ordered there was nothing that could be done. Ive worked in restaurants before, it is as simple as canceling the check and reringing it up so the time can activate the promo. It would have taken less than 2 minutes to have everyone walking away happy but he decided he didnt want to. Ive had lots of great experiences and memories at this location but this may just be a sign that they are heading back in the wrong direction of years ago.

I just found out that my Server Allstate was wrongfully terminated n the server they have now way im not in good hands I brought my son for his birthday cuz he seen him on tiktok singing happy birthday.. when I was told by the host that he was fired I tried to give Dave n Busters the benefit of the doubt but once it took more then 10 mins for a drink order I canceled my order n my son left hurt n disappointed.. IF ALLSTATE IS NOT HERE I WONT BE BACK.. HE IS THE BEST IN THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO TX I KNOW FOR A FACT WITHOUT HIM THIS LOCATION IS SUFFERING GREATLY. I had an incredible tourist experience in San Antonio at Dave & Busters Rivercenter, all thanks to the exceptional service provided by Allstate. I read his many Google Reviews before deciding to eat there Meeting him was a game-changer for our family; his ability to anticipate and fulfill our every need surpassed all expectations. Witnessing him effortlessly carry two food trays one in each hand, managing our table without any assistance, was truly remarkable. Dave & Busters made the best decision hiring Allstate undoubtedly the finest server in the city. 5 stars!

I sat at the bar and it took minutes before the bartender came up to us because she was on her phone. Once we got our food, I asked for a knife, since it doesnt come with the utensils anymore, apparently. A man brought me a knife, holding it by the blade and I told him where did you get that he replied with the back. I told him but youre holding it with your barehands he continued with oh, yeah and walked off. Not only has the customer service standards have dropped but the food standards as well, since my portions of the chicken Parm were significantly smaller than every single time order it. Very disappointing. I told my family that I will not be returning.

Went on Saturday 6/15/24. Sat at bar with wife. They were pretty dead. Ordered a Sam Adams on draught, they were out, then ordered a Shiner Bock, sent it back.( tasted spoiled, dirty beer lines). Same with the Stella Artois. Ordered appetizers. Kids ate with us at the bar . Everything was fine for a hour until a bartender with curly black hair and glasses screamed at us No kids at the bar!. Really unprofessional!! The manager had passed by a few times and never mentioned this policy. We were already leaving so I didnt complain. I spent over $200 on game cards and food/drink. this is a smaller D&B and tends to get crowded due to tourism. Plus is that it is in the rivercenter area so there are other locations near by if it is too crowded when you go. If you are there just for D&B than may want to go to a bigger on. Parking: Parking garages around the rivercenter available. depending on length of stay $5-$30. Some of the parking time can be waved if you watch a movie in the rivercenter and scan you parking ticket. Some parking lots around as well about the same for pricing.

Makes you feel like he cares and concerned I love talking with him, and a very loving personality. alvin Is a super attentive Bartender I highly recommend you ask for Alvin. Food portions pretty small for the price and card prices have gone up with the same amount of chips. Me and my husband have only been to this location once and we could tell a LOT has changed. As soon as we walked in to approach the front desk a manager was standing behind a podium and asked us if we wanted to eat or play and once we said play games, we were instantly directed towards a kiosk in the game room. Like since when did the front desk get replaced by computers and technology? Some people want that in person transaction and it seems like this location just took that away. Manager didn t even give us an option. Most likely won t be back.

This place is always pretty disappointing. The games are moderately expensive. The food is in smaller portions than other D&Bs I went to. The waiters are understaffed every time I come in, regardless of whether theyre busy or not. The front desk staff is always there to say good bye. They refused my military discount this time (not sure why?) The prices on the menu were grossly incorrect and they didnt honor their happy hour prices during happy hour (they said they had two different happy hours). The waitress took off with my food when I went to the bathroom. This is mostly a list to remind myself why Im never making the mistake of why Im not coming back here again when I forget.

The atmosphere was amazing! I tried their Nacho plate and bacon burger which was fantastic. The service was friendly, kind, and respectful. I will most likely revisit this Dave & Buster again and again. Although I was a little hesitant with their nachos, but in the end it had a wonderful taste and different from all the other nachos Im so used to eating. I didnt try the games out, but maybe next time Ill have more time to play.

Menu says they have gluten free buns but the meat for burgers and the grilled chicken are not gluten free. They offer a side salad, so I just ordered that, but the waitress wasnt told they do not have gluten free salad dressing until the salad was brought out. The waitress did an amazing job trying to accommodate the best she could but there was only so much she could do. Requested to speak to the manager. He approached our table with an attitude demanding what question I had. Told him, there was no question only a complaint. He was completely rude and spoke to me as if it was my fault that their menu was screwed up. He demanded the waitress to give him the gluten free allergen information menu. His only comments were, What is the question? You should have ordered something else. Our menu is one page, its not that difficult. Once again, I told him that they offer a gluten free bun but nothing to go on it. They have salad but do not offer gluten free dressings. Does he not see the issue? He said, no, I do not. Just order something else. The menu is one page, its not that difficult. Sorry excuse for a manager.

We went for appetizers and games after a long day out. It was a Monday night and none of the staff seemed to want to be there. Falling asleep, rushing us to order and eat. The girl in the ticket/prize section was on her phone watching Netflix and didnt want to help us. My kids had 6600 tickets between them, and she wouldnt let 14 tickets slide so they could use them all. Its the worst location weve been to because of the people. It wasnt busy, no wait for food or games so that was nice. For was warm and not hot but tasted ok.

Expensive drinks happy hour and late happy hour are nice. Games nice clean place for fun. I come with a coupon for buy 25 get 25 free still valid just got it from hotel and ended up paying 30 cause there system. So they as a company should honor there coupons. Food

This has to be one of the worst experience Ive ever had. First when I arrived they gave my table away after I reserved this a lil over a week in advance.
