10/10 Recently held a private event at Papa Doble. Albert and his staff were very accommodating, his staff are very professional and attentive. The patio was perfect for the El Paso (almost springtime) weather. Whiskey selection was great and Megan made an excellent Old Fashioned! This locally owned spot is a must if you re in El Paso and looking for a nicer bar with a chill vibe.

No food, just a chill and relaxing bar. Bartender on duty was very friendly and quickly turn around with drinks. Good house music, with an AMI digital jukebox. Outdoor seating is nice with two areas with water misters.

Cool little spot. Saw it by chance on an evening excursion. Pretty good cocktail bar. Quality drinks. Nice staff. Well done renovation inside. Check out the exposed wood up top, pretty neat. Patio area is pretty spot on. Wish they had a broader whiskey/scotch/bourbon selection. But dont let that deter you. A return visit will be in order.

Had a great time here. Its very homie like and the staff is very friendly and makes some amazing drinks. Very chilled place, very speak easy to gather with friends. Had a keywest punch ( my favorite) and also a cucumber cosmo! The music is awesome and love the decor set up. This palce is also dog friendly. Cant wait to go back to try more delicious drinks.

So my partner and I have been trying to find a place to drink and hang out that doesnt have obnoxiously loud music or people and that has a decor thats pleasing to the eye, and so far this place is at the top of our list. We have maybe 3 or 4 places we like to go, and so far this one tops those requirements.

Wonderful vibes, very cozy, casual and relaxing, unlike other bars with loud music, u will be able to chill out, have a drink and a conversation. They dont serve food, welcome outside food. Honestly,a hidden gem, very classy,clean, open and comfortable and inviting atmosphere! We were served by 2 lovely young ladies that were prompt and knowledgeable on the drinks. Highly recommend, you wont be disappointed if the rest of the wait staff have the same work ethics and the drive like our workers did on Saturday evening! Id give it a 5 star but no food is served!!

They did an awesome job turning this old 1900s house into a posh but cozy pub. Their patio just expands on this. Good craft beer selection as well as macro brews, full bar selection with all your popular cocktails . There is even corn hole outside to play with your buddies.

Ive this spot! Im from out of town so Ive been looking for my favorite bar and think I found it. Its a bar inside a redone house which feels like your favorite friends house but better decorated and great service. Well greeted when you enter with plenty of friendly bartenders so no long waits for a drink and they came to check on us often too. Great seating... tables, booths, bar spots and outdoor picnic tables too. There is plenty of free parking on the street. The drinks were great and better than any high end bar in town. The music vibe was great and not so loud that you cant talk. There is TVs at the bar playing sports with direct viewing spots at bar. Inside the AC is cold and view outside of night sky is beautiful. Im going back often.

The place looks nice, Ill give it that. They didnt have any drink menus. I asked about a bottle on the shelf, the bartender said it was tequila. She comes back and asks if we wanted shots of it. So we said sure why not. She brings 3 shots and says that it will be over $100 and she cant take them back since she poured it. She cornered us to pay for drinks that we didnt ask for, she offered them to us. Real grimy way to treat customers, she should have said something before opening the bottle. Its not even about the money, this place needs to train their people or hire new bartenders.

New bar so brand new building could still smell the new construction, all of which was very nice and tasteful. Fun patio with bar outside in the back. Bar/table games available. Unfortunately, cocktails were terrible, including signature cocktail (the Papa Doble) and regular mixed drinks (old fashioned, mojitos, Moscow mule). Too much syrup, too much alcohol, very unbalanced and terrible overall across the board. Lots of potential though. If the owners hire or train bartenders would consider going back and updating rating.

Great ambiance but the drink prices are insane. The bar itemizes each ingredient used for their mixed drinks so you end up paying close to $15 for a basic Margarita or Paloma. Beer on draft is also way over priced at $9.25 for a beer you can get for less than $6 on the same street. We tried ordering pints for our second round because we didn t want as much but the bartender said they are only allowed to serve/ charge tall glasses because that s all they had then she comes out with pint size glassware for our water. This left us with a sour impression of what this bar will do to up charge any way they can. Lastly, if you plan on opening a tab, this bar charges you an additional card service fee that s not mentioned to you beforehand. I ve included a picture of the receipt so you can see for yourself how this bar itemizes ingredients and their cost for using a card. It s quite disappointing that the owner of this place goes on the attack after this review instead of offering to remedy the situation. If this is the owner s customer service, it s no wonder the bartenders do what they do with their ridiculous itemized pricing. Save yourself the trip and money.
