My 1st time at this location and it was different from the Dallas location. We ordered our filet mignon steaks medium well, yet they came out well done. We were disappointed. We had to send them back. The salad wasnt worth the cost, so it went back as well. It was more of a child size portion . Our waiter, Heidi, was pleasant - her only flaw was she didnt scoop up bread crumbs until the end of dinner. Because our steaks went back, the GM came over and introduced himself and offered a sincere apology and gave us a nice discount.

Last week, while attending the Trees & Utility Conference, a group of seven of us dined at Bobs Steak & Chop House located within the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. The ambiance was matched by the friendliness of the wait staff, who provided excellent service from start to finish. We began with appetizers of fried calamari and tuna tartare, both of which set a high standard for what was to come. For my main course, I chose the 14oz. Prime Ribeye accompanied by a salad, and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone in our group was delighted with their meals. Overall, I d rate our experience at Bobs Steak & Chop House 4 out of 5 stars highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.

I had heard nothing but rave reviews about Bob s Steak & Chop House, but always from other locations. Our 47th anniversary was coming up and we decided to try the Bob s in downtown Fort Worth in the Omni Hotel. I was very disappointed. The atmosphere was nothing special, when making the reservation we let them know it was our anniversary, but we were seated at a small table sitting right next to others. When I sat down on the booth bench side, I sank down to where I was almost eye level with the table, we traded seats so I could sit in the taller chair. Our waiter was nice enough, but the food was nothing special. My steak had no flavor, not even a little charred flavor, like they forgot to season it at all. Smashed potato s weren t much better. I added salt & pepper, and chives & sour cream from my husband s baked potato set-up. It still didn t help. The lobster bisque was very tasteless as well. The manger came by to wish us a happy anniversary, so we knew they were aware of our celebratory dinner we d chosen to have at their establishment, but that was as far as it went. No one offered a free dessert to share or to take a picture to commemorate the occasion. We will not go back to Bob s in Fort Worth, but may try the location in Grapevine. I ve heard it s a totally different experience. For a $250 meal for two, I would ve expected much better service and food!

Man, I cant even believe Im writing this. We come here for birthdays and anniversaries and always love it. This time was so different. We got seated and got water and didnt see anyone for 5-10 minutes. Finally flagged someone down and got service but it was super slow. Asked for butter and he even came back and said oh, Ill bring butter and never did. Finally asked the bus boy and he brought it. Then food came out cold and not to the quality that is normally Bobs. So disappointed after driving so far to come back.

Great steak house and one of the few restaurants in the area that is open later on the weekday, 9:00 PM. The staff is very courteous, we didnt know that they were closing at 9 but we got seated and they still served us even though we got there 15 minutes before closing. They didnt force or kick us out either, when we left there was still a couple of parties left. The food and service is wonderful and prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, they sold out of the Tomahawk but they had plenty of backup options. New York Strip 14oz - comes with a Bobs carrot and a side. I got the loaded baked potato and it was pretty big! The carrot is their speciality and has a slightly maple/sweet taste to it which was delightful. Rack of Lamb - comes in a rack of 6, the sides are cut off to get the best presentation and meat on the lamb. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Portions are huge and unlike some other steakhouses the side comes with the dish. No need to spend another $15 for a side. The bread was also decent, it could be denser and the crust could be a little thicker but it was still freshly made and warm. The butter was salty and went perfectly with the warm bread. They also have this pickle jar that you can fish stuff out of. Im not a huge fan of pickles but if you are youd love it.

Reservations 8:30 - sat almost 10 min before greeted. Had to flag down waitress to place order - waitress never ck back to see how food was. Broccolini was missing flavor and under cooked we have been to several locations , this was our first to this one. We will be back, hoping for a better experience w/ service. Parking: $10 if u valet at Omni - make sure you have Bobs validate your ticket at the host stand.

Went to a private party and it was really nice. The service was excellent and they anticipated our every need. The room was very nice and definitely would love to dine their again. The food was very good and my favorite was the bruleed creamed corn. My only hesitation on giving 5 stars was the plating. I felt it was a little sloppy. Otherwise a wonderful dining experience.

Husband took me here and it was a wonderful experience! The New York Strip Steak and Filet was great, and so was the service. Wine was also good! Atmosphere was nice and chic located inside the Omni hotel. I recommend going during the middle of the week though.

Good food, a little bit slow though. They need to do some advertising or something to pick up the pace. When I eat there I feel the ambience is lacking because there are so few people in the restaurant. Empty restaurants just give you the weird vibe that somethings not right with it. The service is on par to good, not great, but better than most places now-a-days. I enjoy the atmosphere.

I really enjoyed dining at the Wine Thief. The food and wine were wonderful and the service was excellent. Scott, the server and bartender, recommended a great wine and made sure that my meal and experience was 5 star. I noticed that Scott was an expert at seeing that all guests had a fine dining experience. Without exception, all Omni staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service was a highlight.

Service, ambiance and most importantly the food was cooked to perfection. The portions are plentiful and menu choices are vast and unique. The chef(s) at this location are undoubtedly amongst the best in the industry. Well fast forward a year, when the wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary. This time we were seated where the staff entrance and exit was. Very busy and not relaxing at all. Making matters worse, there was a party of 8 seated behind us, they were loud the entire time they were there and kept taking flash photos where the flash was at a angle that kept hitting me in the eyes! Our food was horrible! I had to send my steak back twice! Shouldve been a third time, but I was done! The wifes lamb was even worse! It was more gristle than meat, even the waiter and chef both agreed it was not only a bad cut of meat, but upon further inspection, they pulled the item from the menu! Also, when we first arrived, we provided our name for the reservation we had. They looked at the book, said they do not show any reservations for us?! I provided the name of the person who took our reservation, but they said that, that person was off and couldnt confirm with them. All the while questionings the validity and truthfulness that we indeed had a reservation! Never again will we waste hundreds of dollars at this place. McDonalds wouldve been better, not to mention about 1/16th of the price!

Bobs is one of our go to places for special occasions and nearly always we come away with a good experience. However, we recently celebrated a birthday dinner and came away disappointed with the lack of service and the time it took to receive our food. After ordering and eating our salads, we waited over 30 minutes for our server to come back to the table and our plates to be removed. It was another hour before we received our meal and our server might have stopped by the table once and twice at the most. It was a Tuesday evening and they were not that busy. The food was good as it usually is but very disappointed with everything else and the lack of empathy they showed toward our long wait. It will not be at the top of our list the next time we have a special occasion to celebrate.

To me Bobs is very overpriced and overrated. Plus, they like to do a lot of weird random things like the pickles and peppers on your table along with the stupid looking giant carrot on every plate. Like who does that?? I d rather go to the plenty other options like Ruth Chris, Del Frisco s, Morton s, etc. I m also not impressed with the management here, especially the GM. I ve seen him working at the Bobs in OKC before seeing him here in Ft. Worth and he just does not seem good at his job if you ask me.

I cannot say enough nice things about Bob s. I ate there last night while I was attending a professional meeting held at the restaurant. I m on a medically restricted diet for 30 days and I called the manager and told him what I could and couldn t have. He was so incredibly nice and did not make me feel like I was being a pain. The real star was the waiter Patrício who made a point that everything I ordered could be accommodated by the kitchen! Thank you to the kitchen as well!!! The steak was lights out delicious and served at the perfect temp. Once I m off of this 30 days I m going back and ordering up a storm!!!

We go to this place a lot. The service is always kind, sometimes even funny, extremely competent and attentive. The manager is literally always around. Its classy, but its not ostentatious (you know, Gort Worths brand of fancy. Cowboy boots and jeans are welcome everywhere). They give you a good steak here, and the sides and big apps they will serve in smaller portions normally if you have a taste for something but no one will share with you. The cocktails are really good... Honestly my husband and I are obsessed in boozy, icecreamy dessert drinks and they have those here. Not all steak places do. The bread is really good, and I enjoy the free pickle at the table. I also like that steaks come with a giant, delightfully cooked carrots. Their mushrooms got me back into eating mushrooms. Their cream corn is delightful. Their steak is delish. Their lobster is cooked perfect. And theyre strangely fast. Like, normally fancy steak places keep you around for ages, but my husband and I always get out in an hour and a half. We never have trouble getting a good reservation. And its not too noisy there, so you can have a conversation! (Pappas Bros, for example, sucks if you actually want to talk to the people you came with). The only problem is the parking. The parking sucks because it is always chaos at the hotel. A busier valet does not exsist. So go up the street and get meter parking instead and walk there. After 6, the meters are even free.

Stopped by here for a drink and appetizers. The ambiance is a super cool and dark ambiance. We sat at the high-top communal table. Our server was great and attentive. So not a bad place, food was good, staff were nice, but I feel for what you pay it should have been more memorable. Staff were kind when I interacted with them, but even though I sat at the bar there wasnt much interaction. The food was good, but for what I paid, I was hoping it would be amazing or memorable. The drinks I had were really good! A bacon drink and probably the best riesling Ive ever had. However, the scallops were ok, bacon kind of over powered them a little, and the wagyu tomahawk, although memorable for its size, was just good, not fantastic or great. So, not a bad place to go for a nice date, business get together, or family celebration, but not the grand culinary experience I was hoping for after paying a quarter of a grand.

My husband took me to the Ft. Worth location to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing! They had a creamed corn with jalapenos and bacon, so yummy! My salmon was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend Bobs for a relaxing, romantic and cozy dinner. The homemade pickles were delicious. The martini was perfectly shaken and their blue cheese olives are hand stuffed! Had the salmon which cooked to perfection -medium. The fish was so tender and flavorful. The glazed carrot was cooked Al dente so even though cooked it still had a great texture and bite.

Service was very slow. We ordered a bottle of wine, took over 15 minutes to get it. My steak filet mignon , that was to be medium rare, came out black and burnt. Dry and no flavor. While I waited for my new steak, I ate my carrot and potatoes. Im not one to send food back, but it was bad. For a $90 steak im sending it back. My husband was done eating by the time my steak was done. So I took my steak to go. Considering this was over a $300 tab for just 2 of us, I expected more, and not a burnt steak, this is an upscale steak house. Lobster bisque wasnt that great either.

Went for the rack of lamb. It was fabulous! 5 stars fit that. Hubby had a ribeye. 4 stars. Cosmo was only 2 stars. Easier was a5 star. The fact that no one could read the menus and turned their phone spot lights on to read it! Iright in my eyes from at least 6 different tables. 1 star. They need better, bolder menus. The worst part was the vallet. It took them over 20 minutes to get our truck!

We could not be more disappointed with our dinner. 2 steaks were burnt crisp and one was undercooked . The mac and cheese tasted like water. We have been to all the steakhouse in dfw and this one was not even close. Dessert was the only enjoyable part. The service felt like forever. Our waitress was good but the wait was just way to long for food.

Ate here 2 nights in a row as I was staying at the Omni as this restaurant on bottom floor of hotel . The food is great whether it s the steaks or seafood . Service is top notch . Highly recommend.

I dined for lunch. The Fish and Chips was delicious, add in the Jalepeno Tarter Sauce, oh my stars. My glass did have something floating in it when my water was served to me, loss of a star. Food was delicious.

I am not one to write reviews but this experience needed to be shared. I ve lived in the area for years but never made my way over- finally decided to give this place a shot on Friday and they absolutely blew it. We got placed in the back room because of over flow Friday night traffic- no worries and understand with that. We got placed next to blinds that we were told we could open as we wish with no comment from anyone around us- even asked the tables surrounding if we were bothering them and everyone was good. We then had a manager come up to our table and ask us to close them due to the outside scenery and other condescending remarks about what was outside. For someone that has worked their way up from nothing . I was extremely offended and shocked to say the least but chose to keep my mouth shut. The bus boy as well was beyond rude as well when dropping off our meals not knowing who s was who s. We said something to the waitress and she could of cared less. Y all really need to work on treating every guest the same and I will be sure to tell friends about my experience here

I was in from Denver for the weekend and had reason to celebrate by treating myself to an upscale steakhouse. Bobs large ribeye, lobster macaroni & cheese, expertly crafted cocktails, and overtly quick and attentive service (at the bar mind you) exceeded my expectations. The blue cheese within the macaroni was a great touch that really set it off.

We went for my husbands birthday last month, I made reservations and when we got there they sat us in a booth that was all tore up, like literally one half of booth sitting part had rips all in it, I wasn t expecting that in a fine dining establishment especially when I m paying over $150 for dinner for 2, the food was just ok, my husbands food wasn t hot, steaks were bland and a lil tough and salad had bacon bits and not real bacon just really a cheapy like meal, not as good as I remembered the last time we visited, our waitress was very nice and the gm I think his name was Eric was very nice, he gave us a complimentary appetizer due to my husband being a veteran and retired 1st responder, we didn t complain at that time, didn t want to ruin my husbands bday, don t think we ll be back, I expect better from a fine dining establishment.

TERRIBLE steakhouse, uses the Bob s name but can t make the cut! The Fort Worth location, better to spend money at Texas Roadhouse which I love First off, when the steak is brought to a customer s table I expect the staff to wait until I cut into the steak to make sure it is up to par. Secondly, I expect the staff or manager to check on the table to make sure our meal is standards. Third, this is not Bob s steakhouse, this is corporate version want to be. No care in service, bad cuts of meat. Fourth, this is suppose to be a one of the best steakhouses in the nation not a restaurant that has steak on the menu. sent back a steak. spent $400 dollars/plus tip and no comps.

Had the worst experience at Bob s tonight for dinner:spoiled wine, unseasoned tuna tartar, my overcooked NY strip taste like something you would get at Texas Roadhouse but three times the price. On top of that, the server disappeared for 2/3 of our dining and only asked us how our food was until the other two in my party finished their meals. I only tipped him 10% and gave a reason and I thought that was generous considering how much our tab was. I am a frequent visitor to the Bob s restaurants but first time at the FTW location. By far the worst fine dining experience. Do not waste your money at this joint. It s a disgrace to the Bob s name.

Absolutely delicious. The staff were kind and knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. My food was cooked perfectly and included the specifics I asked for. The restaurant was well decorated and felt relaxed but also upmarket. I would gladly eat here again.
