Not a good experience the drinks were made wrong and took a long time when there was no one at the bar. The food was re heated you can tell it was old food. I got the jambalaya and nothing looked fresh it looked like leftovers reheated. My wife got the Italian chicken parmigiana and the noodles were hard like when you reheat them after being out. The waitress was really nice she was very helpful she did everything to make it right even tho it wasn t her fault.

This restaurant s interior is nice. The server was a nice young lady. I ordered the chips and queso appetizer. The cheese was gross. It probably wasn t real cheese. I had the $13 chicken bacon ranch piadina with fries meal deal. It was tasty. The happy hour $6 margarita was ok. Their regularly priced cocktails are ridiculously priced. $13 for a guava margarita. I think not. It s likely not even made with premium liquor. These companies think that they can get away with these prices under the guise of inflation when really it s just greed. I recommend Cheddars. They have reasonably priced drinks and they are good. So is the food.

Came to celebrate our daughter s first job and we were greeted right away. Our server Amanda B was soooo amazing, offered us suggestions and even brought our daughter a pizookie to celebrate her. The server Amanda was by far one of the best waitresses Ive ever encountered. She knew how to read the table from start to finish, knew exactly what I needed without me having to ask, and was so very attentive and full of energy. Very disappointed of the employees they re not well informed about the different forms of paying, like they don t have tap or Apple Pay. This review was written sometime ago, The recipe for the wings changed. The new recipe is awful. We were very disappointed with that change. last time I was here I went to the restroom and heard loud sniffing noises, the guy flew out of the stall and to my surprise it was a BJs employee with a bunch of tattoos. I came to the bar afterward with my wife and she complained about loud moaning sounds coming from the kitchen, last thing I considered having to worry about going out, she was deeply uncomfortable. Its more of a frat house than a family friendly restaurant.

First time at BJs last night and I was ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED!!! BJS has earned a lifelong customer. I want to thank our waitress, Heather! She was phenomenal and made our first visit to BJs spectacular! She was friendly and patient and offered help with any questions we had over the menu. Heather recommended the Blackened Salmon... it was so delicious! Crispy blackened crust and tender center. Best guacamole weve ever had with the Guac and chips. Drinks were cold and delicious! We had the most terrible service today (6/9 at 9:00 pm). Our waitress was rude when answering questions about the menu, brought our food and would leave it at the end of the table or would slide it across everyone until it reached the right person. When asked for additional items, she slammed them on the table and walked off without a word. Never once did she smile. She acted like we were a nuisance. Our table was mostly people who once worked as servers so we tried to be as understanding and forgiving as possible but it is really hard when someone treats you with disrespect and disgust. Our waitress s name was Monrique. The restaurant was also pretty empty so it s not like she had 10 tables at once. No excuse to treat us so poorly. Made us not want to return to this establishment.

Alright. We came here because they have prime rib. The prime rib deal is good I ll say that but. The service was awful. It took our server 15 ish minutes to even GREET us. The tables around us stayed dirty for 20 minutes plus. After our food was dropped we didn t get checked on for about 15 minutes plus. We had to stop random workers around us for things we needed. The salad hardly had any dressing. The two sides (rice pilaf and roasted veggies) were awful and tasted like they had been sitting there all day. Also one person in our party got SICK the morning after from the food (not sure what exactly did it on the plate). I hardly ever leave bad reviews ever but this experience here was not good. Our server was nice but it just took him so many minutes so many different times to come to us. Unfortunately, and the sick part wasn t great.

We went to BJs Wednesday May 15th for an early dinner and the food and service was very disappointing. We ordered 3 appetizers, 2 of which had little or no taste. My sister-in-law and I ordered the Fish & Chips and the fish was over cooked, the Slaw was terrible, just some chopped cabbage with no sauce, only the fries we actually editable!!! We first off had to wait 2 hours to be seated(ok, I had a large party). When she first came to our table, she wouldnt say a word until the whole table stopped talking. Im here for my friends leaving the area party. Needless to say, I wont be recommending this place to anyone. This is the worst service I have ever had a restaurant. I get large parties take awhile and that we came at the end of a dinner rush, but your people in service should be hospitable and friendly. We have been sitting for 45 minutes and just now got our drinks and food orders in. Everything we ask her seems like such a bother and problem.

Family decided it was time for dinner ended up here for dinner. Which turned out to be a great decision. The tri tip scampy combo and brownie pizzookie was delicious, but our server Ryan was hands down the guy! I dont know how else to describe him but the perfect balance between professionalism and making us laugh feelling as if were at home. Our kids even thought he was funny. Now, whenever they ask for something theyll tell us dont be scared! If you go see him youll understand! Lol Dont be scared

I have never had a BETTER experience eating at BJ s. The food was good as always, the beer (black & tan) tasty and cold as usual but today the service was off the chart. It s always good but today our server took it to another level. It was so over the top good that I felt obligated to ask for his manager so I could pile on the praise. Andrea (Red) is an exceptional bar tender and waitress. So pleasant and witty, never a dull moment. I usually sit at the bar if im by myself and I look forward to it all day!, BJs is my go to place in West San Antonio. Amazing food, happy hour til 7, great bar crowd, and lively conversations if you initiate it. Up scale, reasonable prices, and excellent quality. Cant wait to see Red again. My family and I had lunch there today. David was our server, and he was amazing. My chicken wings were not cooked to my liking, and David was very friendly and explained some things to me about the cooking process. It really set my mind at ease. I appreciate him taking the time to do that. He has great customer service skills and a good table side manner. He made our dining experience very enjoyable. When we go back to BJs, I want David as my server.

Update for February 18th 2024, My wife and I decided to give the restaurant another try. Once again we ordered the nachos with tri-tip. I was informed that my order would be ready by 2:50 p.m. . I got a text notification at 2:44 p.m. that my order was ready. I arrived at the curbside parking at 2:48 p.m. and checked in at spot number one. I waited until 2:58 before I went inside and the first thing I noticed was the girl behind the to-go counter was playing on her cell phone. I asked to speak to a manager to let him know I had been out there almost 10 minutes and what I observed from the employee walking in. I take my food and get home and when we open it, The nachos are cold!! I am going to attach a photo and you can tell by the Chile con queso cheese how its not even melted but looks very cold and frigid. This is unacceptable and I dont know if we are ever going to go to this location or this restaurant chain again to order food. Shame on me for giving them another chance!! I cant believe I wasted $20 for cold nachos that we cant even eat and Im not going to go drive another 15 minutes just to be disappointed again if they had to remake them.

Extremely disappointed and ruined my girls movie night. Ive been telling my 3 girls we would do a barbie movie night since last summer. I was pregnant and having complications. Then a newborn who screamed all night. Finally we had the opportunity. So I decided we would go all out and order lots of food. We picked you( bad choice. ) I made the delivery order atv5:30 to be delivered at 8:45. We live less than 2 miles from the resurant and the food was cold. Like no heat. Felt like they had made it at 530 and let it sit till it was picked up. Chees dip was hard everything stale. Then they forgot my daughters fruit side. Then the bread for my sandwich they decided to use the end heel piece instead if a real slice. It was thin , had Hoekstra and wouldnt stay. Why could I not have gotten a real slice? The order was 100 . We wasted that money and didnt have good food for our movie night they have been waiting for since June.

I checked in for curbside after arriving for my order and was sitting waiting. Thirty minutes later I received a text message saying the order was ready and I checked that it was marked curbside. Yup it will be right out. Yeah if right out you mean 15 minutes after it was placed on a shelf to get cold! I only waited Ten minutes before realizing they must be swamped. Thank goodness this lady was leaning there checking on her social media. I wouldn t want my order to get in the way of her social media time! Meanwhile, two girls were running the whole show. Running around like chickens with their heads cut off, while this one took care of her personal social business. Then I get home and one of the three sliders is missing most of the important stuff.

Got a gift card to BJs Restaurant and was so excited to try their food. Ordered to go at the restaurant. The person who took my order (forgot his name) was very nice and helpful. I ordered the chicken & ribs bundle with rice pilaf, brocolli and house salad. It was a bit of a wait to get food but did not mind it. However, was so disappointed with the food. The ribs were over cooked and dry. Which they forgot the side of bbq sauce and the side of garlic bread. The chicken was dry too. Brocolli didn t have any seasoning nor any butter. Only thing that was good was the rice pilaf and salad. The family was not impressed with the food. Won t be going back.
