Amazing bar to hang out with friends or a date. Great bartenders with exceptional skills Xavier and Ulysses took great care of us. Service was very fast even though the drinks were complex. It was a little dark in there but it went with the atmosphere so very worth it. A must stop if you are curious about great cocktails.

Drinks are delicious. Great mixology place with a very knowledgeable staff. They know the drink menu backwards and forwards and will answer questions, as well as ask questions to get a feel for what you might like on the menu.

Dont ever try going here with a group of people, especially if anyone is not from the U.S. originally. It is San Antonio, and of course there are going to be people from Mexico/South America, but just like the other terrible reveiws say, the bouncers are a real piece of work. They were asking for passports after we had waited in line to get in and rejected our friend for not having a passport on them. Just take your business elsewhere where you will be welcomed.

Amazing cocktails and mixologist. I will add the atmosphere was completely different later in the night compared to earlier in the evening. Other thing of note, the one mixologist was spot on with his recommendations and was super friendly.

The line to get in was unorganized. People as well as I had a table and they would not let me in with no explanation. This is San Antonio they need to chill out. There are many bars with easy entrance, cheap drinks, and way better atmosphere. No professionalism.

My boyfriend and I found this place before going to a concert and we got to enjoy the vibe before 10 pm. I enjoyed the concept of the bar. The drinks were very good and I was obsessed with The great Wave Off Kanagawa . Another thing to add is that there was an elevator to accommodate my boyfriend which was really nice. We will definitely come again!

I had high hopes for this place, it came highly recommended from a friend of mine and I thought it would be super cool to celebrate a milestone birthday here. Overall experience was decent, music was good/vibe we were looking for, bartenders were super friendly & accommodating, other miscellaneous staff so-called managers, not so much, I had called weeks prior to reserve an area just to hang around 7/8ish ( group of 20 or so) first they said it would be fine and we could hang out, they were so hell bent after 10pm they would have to ask us to remove ourselves from the reserved area due to bottle service at a minimum of $2,000 per area. First of all, is this a nightclub or a bar? Are we in Vegas? Like is there a headliner DJ I am unaware of? It s ridiculous and extremely overpriced, their dress code policy is utterly embarrassing & ridiculous, like no one was even at the door and I saw lots of men entering the establishment in not-so-appealing clothing but to each their own just don t say your enforcing dress-code . Most embarrassing of all, they come up to my party to tell us they need the tables at 10pm and put a little reserved plaque on the table. Sad because did anyone come to fork over $2k & swoop up those little forbidden VIP areas ?!? Uh no. Mind you our tab from 7pm to 1am was over $600.00 but they wanted to feel as we were not worthy enough to sit in their little VIP areas lol..ok to make matters worse they unbeknownst to me added 20% gratuity, excuse me?!? You wouldn t serve us at the VIP area and that we needed to go to the bar to get drinks because we don t want to spend $2000 on some cheap tequila bottle but you want to charge 20% on our bill? Totally unprofessional and I don t think it s legal to be honest. Probably should contact TABC about this. In short, not worth my business.

Im so disappointed, I wanted to book a table for New Years and they wouldnt give it to me because the owner wanted it. Come New Years and the owner didnt show up! They missed our on $1100! Their loss!

My wife and I dropped by one early evening in early October 2023 for a couple of cocktails. The bar is not too difficult to find. A stair leads down to the bar - a great metal door is guarding the bar. A nice old car is outside the metal door. The bar looks nice. But the music is really loud. The bar has a really nice selection of craft cocktails and a very nice selection of special liqueurs and wines by the glass. The waitress/bartender was polite and mixed the cocktails well - but not as talkative as many other bartenders around. But ok - they are not there to entertain people. The cocktails were really tasty - tasty enough that we would love to come back and try out some more another time.

The music is subpar at best and they expect you to buy a bottle in this place when there are only like 20 people in there. We walked in after 10 and sat at a table and after ordering drinks were told to get up from a table that had no reserve signs because we did not buy a bottle. First time here and last time here. This is not the caliber of place that can demand bottle service and I know because I have lived in Chicago, Houston, Miami, LA and Atlanta. Don t waste your time. Word of advice: place reserved signs on the tables if you are going to demand that people buy bottles in order to have a table at your mediocre spot.

The worst part is entering this place. The bouncers heckle and laugh at you as they pat you down and disregard your to go from wherever you had your dinner. The place calls itself a wine bar but not sure what it is: it seems more like a night club with a lot of thug clientele which requires a pat down. Move on there s better places in Houston st you can go either to devils river distillery or hotel Valencia bars. Don t waste your time based on instagram posts go and see for yourself what it is.

I will start by saying I did not enter this establishment. I was at dinner and googled near by wine bars, this bar popped up so my husband and I walked over. We arrive; security checks our ID s and tells us we can t bring our to go bag in, ok no problem. What kind of wine bar requires a pat down? Who is your clientele? This was enough for me to decide I will not enter such establishment.

Amazing place to grab high quality cocktails. The decoration is really good, from the classic car at the entrance, the paints, the lights and even the path that takes you to the restroom is very nice. The music is great as well. We tried different mezcal and gin cocktails, all of them were pretty good, even you can ask the bartender to create something different for you. Theres no dress code at all, you can go either dressed up or just chill. The prices are accessible (12-ish bucks per cocktail) and service was fast even though the place was pretty crowded.

Cool underground atmosphere! Loved the detail in the menu: drinks are named after famous paintings and those paintings can be seen all over the place. Jiovanni prepared awesome drinks for us and Melissa and Paulina went out and about to ensure we were having a great time. We enjoyed the music very much on a Friday night; there were some Latin songs remixes.

The bar itself is cool, DJ was great, and the bartenders were nice. However 3 star rating based on customer service.( I would rate that a 1) We booked a section (that was a process in and of itself trying to get ahold of someone to respond.) Arrived, got situated, order as discussed. VIP manager never came to check how things were going until she wanted to argue saying we had to order more (based on additional guests showing up). Meanwhile this area that s reserved people were casually strolling in and sitting down. So no reservation is truly needed in my opinion. She continued to be pushy about this but our minimum was already met, plus group continued to order more anyway so I wasn t worried. She was just rude. I didn t like the aggressive attitude especially when that s your first time coming to check on things. Not how you get business to repeat or be recommended to others. Again concept, design of bar great. Staffing and how they operate 0 stars.

Overrated. Drinks are expensive, but the sole reason the drinks are expensive is because they do some fancy light tricks and some dry ice bubbles to make it seem like they re alchemists concocting magical potions. Reminds me of that episode of Parks and Recreation where they go to that bar where they serve vodka as rays of light and dry ice everywhere. Improve service time and chill with the theatrics

Visited one of the first weeks post-grand opening and had a GREAT time! This is now one of my favorite bars in San Antonio. The music was great (loved Milton, the DJ!), the cocktails were delicious, and the vibes were 10/10. Can t wait to go again when I visit San Antonio! If you re in the downtown area, you gotta give Bunker a shot.

I went Friday with my friends to celebrate my college ring day and we had a blast! I LOVED the concept and the aesthetic vibe. Great customer service all night long and excellent music from DJ Milton, he had us dancing to the beat all night long. His combination of house music and pop was perfect. Would definitely come back because of the music and the continuous attention to detail. My girl friends and I stayed until the place closed. Would highly recommend this place to have a fun night.

Not the best music. Went on Saturday. DJ was the only one bumping. He would leave the same song on for 5 minutes (no joke). Songs weren t really danceable. Security guards are very nice though. Hoping this new place can bring better music in the future!
